Great experience throughout the process. Did took almost a full year to built but due to supplies/demands and shortages nationwide but made it less anxious for us because of great communication/feedbacks and progresses every month. I’m a first time homebuyer and the team broke down and explain/walked me through the whole process and I was in a budget plan which was great to help me stay on track with saving and expenses/etc. once moved in to the home, the other part of the team took over to make sure my home is what we expected and answered my question and concerns immediately! Great follow up and communication.

I found a lot of mixed reviews on KB Homes and was initially very skeptical. Now being in our home for 2.5 months, it was the best choice for us at the time. All of the KB Homes employees we worked with and continue to work with are wonderful. Many things happened during our journey that were out of their control, mainly worker shortage and supply chain issue due to the pandemic. We understand all of this so choose to judge based on the quality of care and information we got from the KB team. The strengths of the team we worked with are communication, friendliness, informative, and patient. KB Homes isn’t going to build you a custom home with every single little detail you could ever want. The contractors they use are probably local and could be hit or miss. We accepted this and we’re luckily able to be close enough to our new build that we went to see it multiple times per week, taking hundred of photos. During the building process, we found several items that needed to be corrected and KB worked with the contractors right away to fix them. There will be bumps in the road as with any project of this magnitude. Overall, we have a brand new home for a great price considering the area we live in. Seamless process from lot selection, to loan approval.

GIF in laundry room pop whenever you do laundry. Lawn sprinklers don’t work and my lawn looks dead. Large hole on side of house that we were told would be fixed but still hasn’t. Worker came to fix garage door opener and proceeded to hit the exterior of our house with a ladder and put two holes in the stucco. We caught the worker trying to paint over the holes instead of fixing that stucco. There is no power to our doorbell. Furnace just stopped working tonight. Very frustrated and disappointed.

Don't be silent and not involved in the process. KB will give you all of the opportunities to get what you want. But you have to use your voice and ask questions.

The communication needs to be better. There will be contractors knocking at your door, they'll be scheduled with the builder, but not the homeowner. Things were forgotten on the build, the manpower and materials aren't there to accommodate issues that pop up.

This was not only my first home but my first new build. The sales team was great and sent me weekly updates with pictures of the progress of the home. I was pleased with amount of commutation through out. Once moved in, the superintendent made sure we had everything we needed and the customer service rep went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Due to Covid the completion date was pushed back a little, which was understandable, but they gave us free upgrades on some appliances and free services on the home-to make up for the trouble. The ease of operating with the entire team - very, responsive, professional, knowledge, helpful and always available and responsive to our requests

The experience was okay. Still have some questions about the garage concrete that I have not gotten paperwork for. Also would have like to see more quality checks before closing and better communication within your team.
