The loan experience was somewhat rough. I felt like I could not get straight answer from the KB Home loan department. My date kept being pushed out which was a pain. The customer service from the sales, design customer care was fantastic and Chad still keeps in touch.

Chad, the gentleman in charge of helping us with our warranty covered maintenance requests has been great. Him and his team have been incredibly helpful and go above and beyond. They are appreciated!

Great Experience with KB Team from Sales to Warranties Staff

I love my KB Home.

Lending process was horribly non-transparent. House is beautiful but had to get several things redone and then redone again. Feels like I keep finding things. Many times acted like it wasn’t their fault for things that obviously were their fault. James and Deborah (real estate agents) and Chad (maintenance/go to guy for all fixes) are cool!

Quality of the homes isn’t the best and checks are not properly completed prior to submitting the homes to the buyers. When issues arise, you won’t get a response. Emergency hotline is terrible as well.

As first-time homebuyers, my family and I were initially a little intimidated by the process of purchasing our first home, but KB Home made the entire experience incredibly smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The entire team was knowledgeable, patient, and supportive, which made all the difference for us. I want to give special recognition to Nick in sales and Allison in the design center. When we visited the design studio a few months into the process, the excitement was undeniable for my family and me. Unfortunately, we were on vacation during one of the walkthrough days, so all we could do was imagine how our home would turn out based on the design choices we made. Fast forward to today, after working with so many wonderful individuals—whether it was the loan officers, the construction team, or the sales team—the final walkthrough was truly unforgettable. Seeing my wife and daughter so happy that day was an incredible moment, and that joy has only grown since we moved in two months ago. Relatively okay, but I am still not understand the appliances delivered with the home. Cooking stove, microwave, dishwasher, but no refrigerator, why ? I asked this on day one, they said people have different preferences. This doesn’t make sense. You can provide coupon to home buyers if you are serious. Take a survey and work on it.

Very simple and straightforward

We had the best experience as first time homeowners. KB helped us through the process and made sure we were happy. If any issues occurred, they were quick to fix our issues. We are happy in our home now for almost 2 months with no serious issues. The customer service rep has reached out and fixed small cosmetic issues promptly. Thank you KB home!

My home buying experience was great and seamless. I didn’t have any issues during the process, which was great. Everyone was incredibly helpful during the process and I greatly appreciate everyone’s assistance along the way. Sandra (mortgage originator), John (home sales agent), and Isabel (loan underwriter) are awesome employees and pivotal people during my home buying experience. This is my first time purchasing a home, new construction and I’m glad I purchased with KB Home.. My only complaint at this time has been the lack of understanding and empathy by the Warranty person in my area. I officially moved into my home about 3 weeks ago. Primarily, I work from home so, I need internet. I contacted Comcast to install cable and internet prior to moving in. A Comcast Technician came by and said the conduit is jammed and a cable line needs to be dropped. I thought the work was completed after a ticket was submitted; however, another technician came out and said the same thing. At this point, I’ve had 0 service for 2 weeks and I’m completing work duties using the mobile hotspot feature on my work phone. Of course, that’s extremely frustrating and upsetting. Anyways, I had been calling Comcast several times, inquiring about the status. Subsequently, I reached out to the Warranty guy and asked him about the issue and wondered who is responsible for what’s transpiring here? Because I don’t have service. He said Comcast and the conduit isn’t jammed. He can’t send any of his guys there because other homeowners had the same issue in my neighborhood but whenever he sent his guys, they never identified an issue. He told me the technicians need different tools. So, I asked him I’m supposed to continue going back and forth with Comcast just to get some service and resolve this issue I’m having? He said yes, it’s not their problem and he’s sorry. At that point, I was furious and told him directly that this is ridiculous, no one cares, and thanks! No response from him. Where was the empathy or compassion? Imagine still having no service for 3-4 weeks now and you’re a federal government employee, working on your employer’s work phone mobile hot spot. Who wouldn’t be upset? And to even assume without verifying is absurd. Basing prior experiences to what I’m experiencing is very foolish. Although Comcast is set to install next week, the Warranty guy has left a bad taste in my mouth. Yes, I submitted my initial review with phenomenal ratings but I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of care and compassion from the warranty person. ... More

Multiple issues that are not getting fixed.horrible quality checkers, sloppy all over.

Very low stress experience because sales agent was very helpful and NOT pushy. The same was true of the loan officer.

Everyone - sales agents, building supervisor, customer service rep - was extremely helpful. We had lots of questions and lots of special requests and these were all answered quickly and thoroughly.

Home buying process was easy and went smooth. With that said, KB Home Loans are not even competitive with their rates. We were given a $15k closing cost credit to assist with buying down the rate and the entire $15k had to be used to get anywhere near other loan companies with no buy down. Materials on the house were also decent but it seems as if the house was made in a rush. Attention to detail was not given on a good amount of items in the house. During the first 30 days we had an individual in the community to assist with anything that was wrong before we had to use the actual warranty process and that individual was over almost everyday to fix small things in the house. ...
