It was a terrible mistake to buy from KB home which could not deliver in a timely matter with below standard workman ship. Unlike what the company claims that they are number one, I learned the hard way about them with loss of over $20,000 during one year of waiting and responding to unrelated requests for loan documents which was ridiculous like writing essay for marketing properties. I am still waiting to hear from them about some outstanding issues.

There was a long list of issues that were documented prior to closing that I am still struggling to remediate. Some of the issues were dealt. However, big ticket items like kitchen cabinet is still pending with no visibility to resolution. The Sales staff, Construction Staff, and Customer Service staff are NOT the problem. The Staff are all super nice. But the process doesn't lead to resolutions. Had I known that the warranty claims process would be this time-consuming, I would have never closed on the house. KB sales office upgraded my flooring to wood and failed to send me a sample of the flooring. I requested 1/2 inch to 5/8 inch engineered wood! They used cheaper 3/8 wood and charged 30K. Did not send me sample! THIEFS!

This company is manned by inept people who does not car about quality of service they provide. They are very unwilling to follow up on issues after closing.

My home buying experience with KB was terrible—the worst experience I've had. I felt mistreated so many times. They took almost two years to build my house. Communication was non-existent, and when I reached out to talk to them, they acted like I was bothering them. I was unfairly treated regarding the interest rate, closing costs, and even the location of my home. If I had the funds, I would have considered legal action against KB Home. I wouldn't wish what I went through with KB Home on my worst enemy.

The sales people used high pressure tactics and misled us during the purchasing process. They did not communicate with the lender or the design center. We had to check that everything we paid for was installed. We paid for higher end cabinets and they were not even installed correctly. They came with lots of damages, they are still not fixed even though the house has closed for 3 months. This was not our first time buying a new home, but it was the worst new home buying experience.
