KB needs to hire professional and qualified construction workers

It has been great doing business with KB, the team has been super amazing.

The home purchase experience with KB was so smooth and awesome. I was informed every step of the way and they’ve taken care of me even after closing. The quality of the home has been great and I’ve been happy with my experience.

It was my first home buying experience, and KB did an excellent job delivering the house on time during the middle of the pandemic. Everyone did fantastic work, from the sales staff to customer service, making the home buying experience smooth and easy.

The experience during home construction was fine until towards the end. Felt rushed during final home inspection and was promised things would be addressed at scheduled check ins after moving in but never got followed up on. Reps would be incredibly slow to respond. KB home just wants you to buy and after closing the level of customer service takes a nose dive.

I love my big new beautiful home and yard with peaceful mountain views!

KB's sales team is top notch! They updated us on a weekly basis through email sharing progress reports and photos! We especially love getting weekly photos!

Things were fine when we moved in.

Forced us to close even though house construction wasn't finished and 2 months later still didn't fix windows, kitchen cabinets and leaking HVAC. KBHome recommendation for us to use bucket whenever we AC and pray to God leaking doesn't cause electrical damage to HVAC.

Everyone (sales, design studio, loan agent, contractors...) is very helpful.

Great property value for the price paid. Plan 2 unit square feet is very reasonable compared to units in Sunnyvale and Mountain View areas. However, space is not well utilized in design. Quality of workmanship and materials is poor. It almost feels like everything is done in a rush and not well thought. Water is extremely hard - water softener and filtration are additional costs that home owners need to think of.

Don't trust what you are told, especially the inhouse lender and the sales persons.

KB Leadership clearly just throws their customer facing reps to the wolves & leaves them hanging with little to no true managerial support. Its sad, its just hard to see the age old concept of a 'faceless corp.' at work... This company clearly cares about profits & investors far more then they could ever care about the person that is spending their life savings on their product? Too bad, they could be such a better company if they just tried to listen & understand their customers concerns...

Right from sales team to customer service all have been great in our purchasing experience!

The customer rep, Ryan, for the builders that were actually building the home was great. Very informative, helpful, and responsive. There were a lot of minor fixable issues and overall some quality issues with the home. Things like scuffed baseboards, dents and small holes in the walls. A lot of it seems addressable and nothing major where it woule be unfixable has been seen or found. This is a review a couple months into closing so it will have to wait and see how the place holds up in a couple of years. I have been in the market for 6 months and was getting tired of counter offers and low-quality homes with high premiums. KB Homes provided me fixed price of house and upgrades, Top-notch location, and Move-in ready home. After purchasing our house in Comm Hill, they came in and fixed a bunch of small things which we complained about. Very happy with their response, cost, and overall hassle-free experience.

We are forever grateful for the top-notch experience we had buying our home in a nice neighborhood on Communication Hill in San Jose. Our friends at the KB office, Debbie, Don, Tim, Maricela and Kathy made buying the home a joy. It was totally painless every step of the way, and even now we continue to have a relationship with KB because they want to make sure we are taken care of if any touch-up needs to be done or if there is ever a warranty issue. dishonest and lack of knowledge

My customer service rep, Ryan was amazing. He was highly responsive to emails and texts when I had questions and if any issues arise. During the orientation, he provided detailed information and caught all the small issues that needed to be fixed. He also went the extra mile by offering any services that I needed help on. For an example, mounting my TV on the wall. He was very reliable and always willing to help, even after the closing date. 10/10 rating for him!

Great support from customer service team for defects repair. Don Carlo did a great job.

Good build quality and delivers on time. Friendly sales/warranty teams.

People are good. Quality of construction is ok.
