I was helped every step of the way by the sales counselor and mortgage originator. The superintendent and construction staff were also very helpful. I would highly recommend KB Homes when buying a new home.

I was apprehensive when it came to selecting a new build because I’ve had family members who have purchased homes from builders and it was a nightmare for them either from the loan perspective, or the build, or the aftercare. However, the home we saw checked all of our boxes so we went for it. Starting with Renee at the sales office: absolutely phenomenal experience when it came to getting information prior to putting the deposit down and then actually securing the home. Throughout the process, Renee continued to be an exceptional source as this was our first home buying experience. Even after her duties were complete, Renee went above and beyond to help. Next, Blanca with the lending department: the handoff process from Renee to Blanca was seamless. Blanca worked to answer all of our questions and told us exactly what to expect. My credit had a few dings on it that I raised with her, and we partnered to address them. The horror stories that you hear of the lender being unresponsive or demanding paperwork that had already been submitted seem to be just that- stories. Blanca made everything easy and we knew exactly what was going on throughout the process. It seemed too easy if anything. Last but definitely not least, is Luis with what I’d call the aftercare team: after we moved in, there were a few things we had questions about (mostly cosmetic) that we found during the pre-closing walkthrough with Luis. Not only did Luis fix a majority of the things noticed prior to move in, but helped coordinate the items that couldn’t be remediated until after we moved in. Luis has been responsive and extremely accommodating to our needs even after we’ve moved in, and continues to be a fantastic source for questions that come up regarding the house. Although there were several "teething" problems, each was addressed by Luis. Initially our garage door track alignment was off, resulting in alarming noise during opening and closure. That has been fixed. There were problems with the heating system not heating. That has been fixed. The front door needs adjustment to stop a loud noise each time the door is opened or closed. That has not yet been fixed. A smoke alarm went off without cause. That has been fixed.

We were in the area, just to look, as first time buyers, we were not thinking we would buy, the sales, financing and construction team figured out all road blocks and before we know it, we bought the house of our dreams. We would recommend and buy again!

Renee was helpful and informative throughout the buying process making the purchase easy. Renee said they had a great team and it has proven to be true. Luis went through the home with us and made us feel comfortable. And ever since we have been in the home Luis has been super responsive to any requests going beyond what we would have imagined. We recently purchased a brand new KB Home in Hollister, and the experience was so easy. Buying a home is a big financial and sort of scary decision and the staff at KB Homes was amazing. They helped us figure out what we could afford and helped us figure out financing. It was very nice to have the experts hold our hands through the process. Additionally, the construction staff is simply amazing! The walk throughs were fun and informative, and the two times we needed small repairs, they were scheduled and done the same day. The gentleman that came for repairs also noticed a small ding in the wall from our movers and fixed it even though it was not KB's fault that it happened. He also touched up the paint for us as well. At the beginning of our home buying journey, my fiancée and I were fairly certain we would land on a resale. Our realtor convinced us to walkthrough model homes and new builds for sale through KB Homes at Roberts Ranch and we absolutely fell in love. Our experience with the builders' agent, Michelle, was fantastic from the start and she felt like a part of our team throughout the process. Our customer service rep, Luis, took the time to explain features of the home and answer our questions during our (very first) final walkthrough. Absolutely love this KB neighborhood. There are walking paths and sidewalks for community members to enjoy. Homes are built green, energy efficient, quality materials and with nice floor plans. What makes this community stand out is their nice big yards, curb appeal and outstanding retaining walls. The KB team is professional, friendly and quick to help with any questions.

Thank you to all of the KB Home Staff. Our experience was easy and painless! The hardest part of the entire thing was having to wait for it to be completed. The home was done a little ahead of schedule and all of the staff did everything they could to make sure we received a beautiful home. We can't wait to fill it up with memories.

Few improvement suggestions: 1. The quality of concrete poured on the garage and on the backyard pod is not good. So many hair line cracks and spalling at places in the garage leaves me worried. 2. The pricing of studio selection is outdated and has to match with true market value of the upgrade and should not seem overly pricy. a. Defaults for kitchen counters is tiles which is more costly labor to put then Granite which is much cheaper now. b. Defaults of lower height Toilet bowls and many other things are only outdated and leave a less than happy experience at time. c. NO option to put microwave in the closet felt awkward. Only apartments have microwave on top of stove. d. Pricing of outside perimeter concrete, recess lightings, Steel finish kitchen sink etc was lot pricier than what outside contractors offer. e. The mud in the backyard was not levelled well and was not uniform/very lumpy/boulders. ... More

Had a good experience with KB from the start of my purchase and throughout the build. very informative and responsive on minor issues.

Home buying experience was quick and easy! They even offered to do touch ups after we moved in. They respond quickly whenever you have questions. Overall good experience with them!

Over all our experience was great, From start to finish, every person we dealt with was so helpful, and positive, and yes the house isn't 100% perfect, but it only takes a text or call to get the imperfections correct. Thank you KB
