Great team, very helpful and responsive.

great home with fantastic customer service from sales, to loan and customer support. Some of thr craftsmanship from the construction crew was slightly less than perfect.

Sales team was awesome and went above and beyond to make sure we were able to purchase our house. Customer service has been great in addressing our issues.

The service team, mainly Renee, was the best at helping us through this process.

Really great energy efficiency which I’m very happy with. Not in love with the included appliances, and there are some issues with workmanship, but I am relatively certain it will get taken care of. The buying process was painless and quick.

Stay in touch with the sales rep on a weekly basis, especially at closing time. They seemed to string us along and give us dates they were unable to achieve.

Very friendly staff. Finish work was sloppy however and things seemed like they were rushed in the home. Overall we love our home! And the people involved were so helpful

We love our home and the details that went into it. My only issue is that the builder promised to get us paint samples, and never brought them. He promised to fix out broken irrigation and that never happened, my husband ended up fixing it because it was wasting water be running 24 hr /day.

Staff is helpful and friendly

The KB Home team is great, and they provide a lot more updates than I expected. However, the finish work on the construction was decent to good, but many things were missed that we had to bring up to avoid delays. The customization options are amazing, but I would like to see more sample photos of homes that picked many of the options to choose from as examples. They do not offer good photo examples currently. We had a bad experience with our mortgage originator, who provided conflicting information about closing costs which caused a one week delay during closing. The last thing I’ll say is that the backyards need to be smoothed out and actually checked for nails, screws and other supplies left behind by the construction crews because our backyard was LITTERED with this stuff, which could have injured one of our dogs during the first couple of weeks we were there. Hard to tell how this is going to hold up but the canned lights started falling out of the ceiling the second week I was here. The water in this area is absolutely horrible- I don’t see how anyone could live without a whole house filter and softener- yet the house is not plumbed for installing a system- except for the side of the house by the street- in the sun and in plain sight. I have several issues that I asked for help with and they say they will come check but nobody ever shows up. They promised that if I would give them a 10 on the survey- they would come back and paint the garage that was left unpainted- something that would have taken them 15 minutes to paint when it was empty and they were painting everything else anyway- yet they chose not to do it in order to get a perfect score. Well I answered the survey before moving in- gave a perfect score because I wanted the garage painted. I’m buying paint today and painting the garage myself- it has been a month since the survey. I’m not holding my breath that anyone will show up and do what they said. I can fix stuff and I’ll hire outside people to come fix things. I just don’t know why they make those promises. Hoping the house will hold up- luckily not much has fallen apart in the first month so maybe the construction is good- can’t really judge that completely after a month. Responsiveness to issues with the structure is not impressive. Maybe that is not part of the deal- not sure why they tell you that then. ... More

Keep on top of issues and make sure they take care of the issues ASAP.

For the size of this community, we wished there was more help after the sales. It’s hard for one person to manage the responsibilities and needs of so many new home buyers in a timely manner.

Expected better response to issues in regards to the home when we received keys. But once you get your keys to your home it’s up to the home buyer to constantly be on it, or your issues will be forgotten.

I’m sure it’s a great business at the top but I’m not sure who’s driving this bus at the builder level. We shouldn’t be using the word super in the description of superintendent.

Please do your research before purchasing any home, not just KB, but any home. Check reviews online and also check Better Business Bureau (BBB). I wish I would have done more research before purchasing my Sunnyside Estate home.
