KB Homes has excellent customer service, however the quality of workmanship isn't great. There were many items that need to be repaired, replaced, and touched up. Some upgrades were not installed and had to be completed after the move in. I can't believe they would deliver the house with dents in the garage door and dirty smudges and scratches all over the white cabinets, etc. Nicky and Poco are wonderful customer service folks and I trust them with all the follow up items. They are getting things done correctly!

design and sales could have been more knowledgeable about product and options. construction people were responsive and knowledgeable. first time we tried the heater it smoked and set off the smoke alarm like it was never tested customer service didn’t answer my emails. waiting for replacement of bath sinks. not enough instructions for appliances and features

We went into contract February 2022 with a promise of a completed home in May or June. It took until the end of September until our home was delivered and only after us calling and going to the managerial staff. We still have repair issues that are unresolved. Also KB puts such a low fence in the backyard that you can see into your neighbors windows. We are disappointed that a privacy fence was not part of our package. This is a $800,000 plus home that should have included that out of respect for the homeowners privacy. We love the house but are very disappointed. The only shining ...

The home was delayed due to inventory shortages, we closed after 14 months of signing the home. After all this, I wished the quality is better. The floor makes sounds all over the home while walking. I have scratched windows and cracked windows, but still don't have any ETA on when that'll be fixed.

There had been sooo much delay in the building process that I don't believe can be explained by the pandemic problem. There had been a quick transition with supervisors and I am under the impression that this is the problem. Nick is great but I hope KB can at least keep their good people.

The home was delivered a full six months after it was promised—and the problem was not the pandemic! The problem was the company’s policy of hiring unskilled workers— and perhaps not paying well enough? Management changed on a regular basis—sometimes monthly—and thus there was no accountability. Shockingly bad workmanship throughout the home left us seriously disappointed. The sales team promised high value—and we estimate the house is actually In value about HALF what we paid for it. We moved in and immediately had to start fixing and redoing many finishes! Beware what you are promised ...
