Bought a bunch of problems with KB house

Multiple issues with the KB house after we moved in. You have to file claims to fix these issues and it takes long time for the construction problems to be fixed. All appointments are scheduled during my work hours. Do I need to quit my job or hire a house sitter to be at home for all these after purchase repairs? It was the worst decision of my life to buy a new construction/KB home

I would recommend buyers to be aware of KB homes, they have put my families safety at risk knowingly but selling us base level carpet which has sharp tacks sticking out from it. I have had a number of issues with the new home, damaged cabinets, sliding door not closing properly, bad fence, door handles coming off, cracked windows and the list goes on. I have tried getting answers but they have not been keen or polite in response. We have had 1 walk through through out the build by a person who does not reply to any calls or questions. I felt like I was lied to over and over by the district manager the regional manager sales and so on I had a horrible experience
