Very hard to get in touch to have issues fixed with the house. Was told it was a two car garage but only fits one. Have not hear back for a couple months about fixing that issue and other issues with my house

Expect delays. Expect miscommunication. Expect issues with the build.

Absolutely the worst home building experience I have ever had. Overpromised and underdelivered, untrustworthy and unresponsive staff, poor workmanship. I closed in May and still haven’t gotten to finished product.

We had a relatively good experience selecting our lot and options for our home, but have been more and more disappointed as time has gone on. We had the pleasure of finding beer bottles left inside our home shortly before close. We were told that most likely workers drank them after completing their work despite the fact that KB has no cameras or verification to know when workers are drinking, and completely neglected the fact that there shouldn't be ANY alcohol on site. There have been a large number of quality issues ranging from unsightly to dangerous. We had nails sticking out from our stair railing that could easily cut someone, chunks of concrete left in our backyard, a broken garbage disposal that we had to request be fixed twice, paint stains on our cabinets, shoddy concrete and paint work on our front steps, and the list goes on. KB has said they'll fix the issues we document (and basically created a part-time job for us), but either don't read our emails, don't take good notes from our conversations, or flat out misinterpret what we discuss with them. It's like pulling teeth to get anything addressed and I can't recommend them to anyone unless you're prepared to micro-manage the construction and quality of your home to a painful degree. ... More

My main issue was when things went wrong, on more than one occasion, KB failed to escalate and get resolution. Would not recommend.
