Snow Removal Sucks

My home is nice. So far warranty issues are taken care of in a satisfactory manor. But: I live 3 doors down and across the street from the Model Homes. I have Lived in this soon to be nice community and THE Walk IS NOT SHOVELED. Here is the Beauty of My side of the Street not Getting Shoveled. The Snow removal starts at the Model Homes and they will NOT SHOVEL THE HOUSES ACROSE THE STREET FROM THE MODEL HOMES?

The final product is decent but to get there you have to spend a lot of time walking the house and working with the superintendent to get things corrected. It takes multiple times requesting corrections before they happen. We walked the houses around us that were not being checked up on and the quality was pretty poor. As long as you can stay on top of the build, the final product is a good value for the money.

Nice floor plans but concerning craftsmanship. Terrible basic options which practically force you to pay extra to upgrade. KB has a long way to go to be a quality builder for the extreme price point.

Still waiting on small repairs. Been 8n home almost two months and still don't have hoa welcome package. Put natural gas line to close to homes on our street now having to re-due digging up lines around homes for repair been three weeks with no end in sight. No information on when they plan to finish or start on landscaping in front on home.

I appreciated the excessivly friendly and cordial demeaner of the people I interacted with. Which set me up to be extremely DISAPPOINTED when my repeated attempts to get Jossie to help me access my mailbox failed. I emailed her twice to ask which mailbox is mine. The first she said it was written in the envelope and, when I said I had thrown it away, basically said there was nothing she could do. I called her and she continued. I got angry that she would not tell me how to resolve the issue. I made several threats to give bad reviews, and she responded that it was my fault for throwing away ...

The sales and construction team were better than average. I wish that the architect put more thought into the room designs and that the building supervisor would have communicated the changes made from the model. KBHS was terrible, use your own lender. We love are home and will continue to work with the warranty department to fix issues.

Overall my home is nice but I wish the quality of work would have been better. Some of the work was done subpar and I have some items that need to be addressed because they were not done correctly at all. For the price I paid for the home I would have expected the workmanship to have been better.

For the most part we have been pleased with our new home. The part that we are unhappy with is that throughout the process we have been told many things and the timing of them getting done or getting them done the right way has been a pain. Especially with our front yard area. The plans always seem to change with KB and they don’t always seem to know what’s going on and their answer to solving a problem is that they will find out and let you know but then they never let you know.

KB spends a great deal of time, money and effort “selling” you a great home, but only puts forth minimal effort finishing and delivering it. Mine is still not finished 60 days after closing.

Make sure to get a reputable home inspector before buying. Be willing to walk a way if the price you’re willing to pay is denied. Also it’s a good idea to buy a book that tells you what to look for and what to be aware of before buying a home.

Record all conversations and take pictures/videos of all stages of construction. Do not close and give them your money until everything is fully completed, including touch ups, repairs and replacements.

it's been over a MONTH almost two, that our garage door opener or electricity is not working in the garage. Ridiculous. My daughter's house - the kitchen sink fell down on mount. Leaked water everywhere.
