I love my new house built by KB! Great quality! And even builder grade materials are absolutely stunning. Granite countertops, beautiful kitchen cabinets, attractive elevation. Special thanks to Ken! He provided excellent customer service, provided me with weekly updates on construction progress, my house was completed prior deadline and in a perfect condition, excellent workmanship. I am very happy, thank you KB homes and Ken!

Couldn't have asked for a better first time home building experience. From sales to construction the communication and professionalism were exceptional. We have recommended KB to several friends and family.

The whole process of purchasing this house was a 9 out of 10. Until we started recieving threats to close the house or encure financial penalties, even tho the house was not ready. KB Homes wanted the closing quater to look strong, so deemed it necessary to harrass us to close before the end of February. Prior to this encounter we were activitly talking about but the house next door to add to out portfolio. Due to this experience we will not be buying from KB Homes ever again.

House and lot very nice, lawn however in awful condition due to irrigation not working originally. Overall good value home for the price. Have submitted some minor issue repairs , still not fixed two weeks later.

Working with the employees of Kb homes was an interesting but pleasant experience. The delays were caused by the vendors not KBhome

We first signed a contract with KB Homes in June of 2022. Ingrid was great at walking us through the process when we signed and the project manager had promised a delivery before Thanksgiving. Ingrid was more conservative with an estimate of mid-December. We had the hurricane move through and expected delays. There was no significant impact in the development and work continued. Work fell behind and we only knew by tracking expected closing on the app. Ingrid was always good at trying to get information for us, but the project manager was not keeping any sort of schedule and not passing on information at all. They were six months past the closing date when we were finally ready for closing. The underwriters discovered a situation with the financing options two days before closing that had a significant impact on our financing options. They had the information for four months and only found it two days prior. There were a few problems with the final build, however the new project manager was very helpful in getting the build back on track in the last two months. He was very helpful during our walk through and even after we moved in. Ingrid and Tiffany were both great to work with and went above and beyond expectations during our last week getting things straight for closing. Overall, we are pleased with our home and would recommend the builder with more oversight and outside financing secured in advance. ... More

It,s been horrible with these surveys. I feel I fielded out like 20 by now. One every week.. ridiculous.. and If I don’t I have people calling to do so.. thank you but please. Leave alone and let me enjoy my house.

Expect delays, no accountability, and no communication from KB Homes departments. Initially, everything was great, but as we got closer to the closing date that changed for the worst. First, they told us we did not need flood insurance causing additional expenses to us the consumer. One week before the closing date all KB agents helping us went radio silent.The closing date came and we did not get notified in any way that it had been move due to the builder not having our home complete, it was until next week after the original closing date that we received word that it will take two more months to finish. Now it has been close to three months in the home and the warranty department will not respond to any of the emails I have sent them even after receiving a confirmation email from the stating that one of their representatives will contact me in 48 hours. It has been a whole month and no response to my emails. I will never buy again from KB Homes or recommend them to no one ... More

Great home buying experience from the time I walked into the sales office until I closed on the property. The staff at KB Homes and KB Mortgage were outstanding. My family is very happy with our new home.

The communication with the head of construction was terrible

We felt rushed to close, when the house was not even completed. Also the workmanship left a lot to be desired. We still have things that need to be fixed due to the shotty workmanship.

My experience was miserable and they know it. They were not honest about closing dates and they put me through at least 10 closing dates. This caused me undo and uncalled for hardships on me and my dog. Moving from place to place counting on KB to make good on closing only to be denied again and again! I lost trust in them fairly early on. Funny, the only dates they held true to was the date I had to have my earnest money/check sent to them by which in good faith I did! And at that point my closing date was cancelled for one excuse after another. They are quick to blame weather, worker shortage, etc. I saw their issue as a lack of leadership from the front office to those on the ground I saw working. A clear lack of supervision from higher up. The sales guy, the lender and the onsite construction guy were the only ones I trusted. All others truly didn't care promising only in the end, only when they knew how hostile my review was going to be, told me "they'll make up for the inconvenience" I went through. When you cant convince a buyer with quality product and results, you bribe them. I didn't take the bait and have the moral courage to put out there what I'm writing here. Approach KB with extreme caution, I'm not the only one this has happened to. Do your due diligence. I'm day to day with my new place a certain upgrade from the townhome I had in IL, but I just pray that small things I've noticed in workmanship and so forth, while not earth shattering, aren't signs of what might come later. Ingrid was terrible, nothing she said or promised was correct. Communication between KB Homes upper management and the individuals listed CAN NOT be worse or those individuals are simply pacifiers to incompetence and cover-ups. Chris however appears to try but is always out of the loop. He should be up to speed on EVERYTHING!

We have owned numerous homes throughout our life. KB Home is been one of the best great quality and service, and very personable.
