The construction was good, the house looks great. Some very small details needed to be fixed but they are working on it... Everything good.

My wife and I love our new home and the location. Our salesman was wonderful, he took the time to explain everything that would be happening..guesstimating on the timeline of how fast/slow things would happen. He answered all of our questions. Our first walk thru on the house went well and what we found wrong wasn't that bad. The disappointment has been getting the problems taken care of that were pointed out prior to our move in.

Overall a great experience, however like any builder you will need to make sure you are keeping track of everything that is supposed to be a part of your home and checking progress regularly. Our superintendent was great and always reachable. I would purchase from KB again.

I loved that I was kept up to date with everything and every step. I have always gotten quick responses on any questions I have had.

We've built three homes with KB and each experience was different. If your community has an awesome build superintendent then the home is built with a lot of care and attention to detail. You will have no issues post-build to deal with and you will have a home that you will be happy to live in for years. If your superintendent is lazy or uncaring then your home will have many issues you will deal with for sometimes years. So find a KB community with a solid build superintendent and you will love KB and the home they build for you.

Overall I am happy with the house except the road noise that can be heard very loudly from my bedroom. The windows needed to be soundproof. Otherwise Bill (the superintendent) has been exceptional with everything we have needed or with our concerns.

Ask questions even the ones you think are common sense, because when I finally moved in I was shocked that stuff I thought was common and found in almost every apartment was not available. I still haven't unpacked my bathroom because I don't have any where to put my stuff because nobody advised to upgrade to cupboards with drawers. Very frustrating.

Our reps at KB were all great to work with. They communicated regularly and were all very responsive.

Spending almost half of a million dollar for this 2566 plan house, I found several poor workmanship from bent, crack pre-drywall structural wood to uneven corners of drywall installation. Everything seems built in rapid manner with lack of attention to detail.

Buying a home is a lot of work, I liked the fact that KB offered a Fannie Mae video explaining all the steps, some of the things that they talked about I had already gone through the process, it would have been more useful if I had none of some of the do's and don'ts. So I suggest when you are ready to purchase your new home to watch this video. Prepare and save for all the expenses that you will have, from you moving , storing, delays etc. Make sure your credit is Good and do our homework. Overall purchasing my home was great and exciting. This was my second time purchasing a home. KB studio was a big plus for me, being able to select and see items going into your home was the best part to me. I was able to design my home just for me inside and out, I didn't have this choice with my first purchase. It seemed like a long process, however if you are prepared and ready to purchase a home KB is a excellent choice. KB got the job done. ... More

Good KB Folks from sales to construction to financing

The sales staff and mortgage team CP and Cindy were awesome! Johnathan the construction super was very attentive and fast in responding. I have no issues with the Magnolia Grove jax KB team. I would say my issue is with the quality of the sheet rock and flooring construction sub contractors . They did not pay attention to details. Be sure to watch their work. Be sure that floors, walls, and windows are level and square- as ours was not. We have crooked and uneven walls windows floors and ceiling. Apart from the cosmetics, the house seems to be sturdy. The exterior looks perfect. I cannot complain about the design or construction of the outside. The only reason I gave 4 stars to responsiveness is because I used the KB 800 number to resolve warranty issues. They are pretty much useless. The KB construction super (Johnathan) deserves 10 stars for his fast response being to sole person responsible for rectifying our issues. The KB team we worked with were and are 100% trust worthy. It would be nice to have a club house.

My husband and I bought our first home with KB Home and it turned out better than we expected. Alexandria from the Home studio was very patient with us and allowed us to take our time and picking out the designs. Jayson did most of our financial information and explained/even extended himself to explain things. My one critique with the financing department is for them to allow buyers more time i.e a week at least to lock in rates or any other important decisions when purchasing a home, I did not appreciate being rushed into a decision. Lastly our super Joe, overall Joe did a very good job with his knowledge on the materials/making of the home. I can’t fully put this on Joe but we did feel rushed to closing even though it was quite a few important things not completely done with our home. We still have exterior items needing to be fixed and have not heard of an ETA on those fixings. Another thing I would like to add which really disappointed us, is the day we closed on our home the keys given to us by Joe to our house did not work. We planned on moving into the home the very next day and not being able to get into the home the night prior or not receiving any response after hours was disappointing. Good experience buying a KB Home. Love the house, but sloppy work from contractors. Slow process getting defects fixed.

We were amazed by the time and effort put into helping us make our home our own. The selections are amazing and plentiful. Even with COVID they were able to timely plan with us and provide ample time to get selections down.

I was able to close on my house sooner with the builder being done before the expected date.
