The house was rushed at the end, and a lot of things should have been done a lot better. Interior walls have very little strength and the flooring trim work is terrible. the lawn was done poorly and has to be redone.

Been here for almost 2 months and still don’t have my fence up because HOA won’t get back to me. I’m honestly super disappointed with KBHS for not answering quickly. I have my back fence and side fence with the hoa and both are on my property. Been trying to get this figured out so I can get my fence up

Customer service after my move in was bad and i would suggest the team at least to respond if customer is calling. Dry wall after fixing my bathroom pan is left for more than 20 days during the period of Thanksgiving. I have called customer service but no response yet.

They had so many re-work to be done.. many mistake. some work are not done professionally... expensive with less choices

House was not ready at closing. Stated things would be handled shortly after. Now over a month still having unresolved issues including neighborhood infrastructure still not ready. Yard grading is terrible. Landscaping installed half dead. Was made to close way to fast and early. House should of been completed before closing

The home buying as far as the loan and sales were ok. The quality of the workmanship on the home is subpar. No quality control. The vendors used needs to be held more accountable for their sloppy workmanship. Still awaiting response for my squeaking floors. Placed a workorder several weeks ago and no one has responded.

It took 15 months to build our home start to finish and it wasn’t even fully completed when we were pressured to close at the end of April 2023 so corporate could meet their goals, and we are now facing ongoing repairs and issues with the craftsmanship inside the home. KB REALLY REALLY REALLY needs to pay better workers to come in and build the homes. You guys would save so much money in the long run. Stop thinking so short-term with your costs and just think what a glowing review we’d have left you if your craftsmanship would’ve been better. Also, if the home would’ve actually been completed ...

Well............from the time we signed purchase agreement to move in, in between that period it was ok, it's when the walk through came up...I will stop right here because there is not enough space to leave a review for that. Overall, we are not happy to say the least.

KB home doesn’t have a good customer service, they don’t solve your problems at all after you close your house. So, is a Poot service.

The people were great, but the construction was not. I can tell their homes are quick construction builds with many mistakes throughout, and the community is not done (shutters are missing paint, dents in the gutters, paint missing on buildings, etc.). I have submitted numerous requested for repairs and haven't gotten many follow-ups.

My experience was very bad since the closing was delayed three times without prior notice. When they delivered the house, it had many unfinished things and some poorly done. Communication was very difficult and it wasn't because of the language, as they once told me, but rather because one called and they didn't answer the phone or emails.

Extremely disappointed when I moved into the property. There were so many deficiencies with this new construction. It is evident there was no quality oversight provided. Some of the following deficiencies include the windows not properly aligned, several areas needed a new coat of paint, missing door hinge, missing seal strip on the front door and garage entry door, missing sliding door screen, access to the attic was not leveled and painted, dry wall issues, leftover flooring was scattered in the garage, dead mosquitoes on window ledges, rust in the tub area due to old screws, white cement ...

Our house was 2-3 months delayed due to 1 person. Our lawn is the worst lawn I have ever seen due to a bad quality sod product and install. KB Home seems to think the problem will go away on it's own and are sitting on their hands.

Home wasn’t even finished when we closed (rushed to make their nov. 30th deadline) paint quality is terrible it’s comes off with the slightest scrape, closed almost 2 months ago and still don’t have a screen door, asked for a fence quote 3 times and never got one. And home was filthy after closing, had to ask for it to be cleaned. After talking to neighbors it seems like we’ve all had this same experience so it’s not a 1 time fluke.

There is no ownership of the contractors hired to build the homes. When I call to complain because my “NEW” home is having issues. I continuously hear “that’s the contractors fault”. The way I see it, if KB hires the contractor to do the job they should be checking over the work and making sure it’s up to the standard that KB is claiming.

I was surprise that I had so many issues after closing on my KB home. I bought my house contrary to my realtor, telling me not to buy through KB homes. I hope they will use better materials in the future, and provide more for their home owners.
