We are very happy with our experience and the staff of KB homes. We’ve dreamed of owning a new construction home and we’re still in awe and gratitude. Jacob has been exceptionally helpful and goes above and beyond to provide excellence in the process.

Lack of knowledge by sales personnel regarding valid issues.

We found a few issues during our walkthrough and within the next few weeks, reported them to the Superintendent and they were all taken care of quickly.

As a first time home owner I found the full service that I received from the sales Rep to the finance team as well as the building inspector to getting my keys was very efficient and they were mostly on time with the schedule, The workmanship was to the standard and I am satisfied with the follow ups and opportunity to get anything looked at is quickly remedied. So far, the house looks very good structurally and visually. We hope it continues this way. The finishes look great. I only have one recommendation for future construction: to improve the soundproofing a bit, because you can hear the noise of the cars on the highway. But the rest is very good. Richard, the superintendent, has been attentive and constant. He has been very attentive. And Carmen, the saleswoman, has been fantastic. Good work, both of them.

My inspector missed plumbing issues that should have been hound.

We had heard horror stories from friends who felt locked into a pre-selected plan with other builders, but KB Home's Design Studio was a game-changer. Our sales consultant Jacob was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, helping us select a floor plan that perfectly fit our needs. The design studio experience itself was a highlight. We were able to personalize everything from the flooring and countertops to the cabinet hardware and light fixtures. While we were careful with our budget, the staff guided us toward smart, impactful upgrades without any pressure. We really appreciated having so many options to make the home feel uniquely ours. The Build and Communication Once construction began, communication was excellent. Our project manager, Jodie, was a true professional. They provided us with regular updates, often including photos, which was especially helpful since we couldn't visit the site every day. Any minor questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly, and we felt like we were a genuine part of the process. The build itself went smoothly, and the team was proactive in addressing any potential issues. We were impressed with their attention to detail during the walkthroughs, where they pointed out things we might have otherwise missed. The quality of the finished home exceeded our expectations, with everything from the paint to the appliances installed with care. Post-Closing and Warranty Moving into a new home can be daunting, but the post-closing support from KB Home's customer service team was fantastic. We had a few minor warranty items come up in the first month, which is completely normal for a new house as it settles. When we submitted our claims, the warranty staff was responsive and efficient, scheduling tradespeople to come out and make the repairs in a timely manner. They really stand behind their work. Final Thoughts Overall, our experience with KB Home was exceptionally positive. The combination of a highly customizable design process, professional and transparent communication, and solid post-sale support made us feel confident and happy with our purchase. I had a great experience highly recommended for new home buyer

I am now into my 1st month in Orchard Park, and I must say I am extremely impressed. The grounds are kept up on point almost every week. The neighbors are so friendly and kind I never miss a wave of a hand from anyone in Orchard Park. I can honestly say without NO Doubt I will remain here for years to come. A big thank you to Chris, and Rachel you guys are amazing.

The entire homebuying experience was excellent - and continues to be. The mortgage team was outstanding. They went our of their way to show us the options and to keep us fully informed along the way. After the sale, the normal (and expected) home warranty issues were handled exactly as promised. I would recommend KB Home to anyone considering a new home purchase.

Sales team was misleading and work needed after move-in was a nightmare.

KB allowed a convicted felon (many charges and jail time) to be in a supervisory position in the neighborhood, access to all the homes to be the one doing walk-thrus. He lies, represents himself as being able to do additional things for you (fencing, flooring, etc), takes your money and does not do the work. Dangerous

I think is the best decision to buy a house with KB because Spence end Kerry they gave me a lot of ideas to help me choose the best house ms Derek he helped me a lot with the documents to make everything very easy for closing ms Dan it’s very simple it’s a star thank you.

I bought a house in Feb/March 2025 and moved in on May 1,2025. So far everything is below average Sprinkler system is out of wack, sprinkler heads broken or non functional, system missing a piece for full functionality, tree removal request fell on deaf ears, today a door knob fell apart , house was built in 2024 and was on inventory, I had bad experience with sales team who actually are more of a car dealership.Garage door is like we are opening a tunnel door beside I greased it still makes horrible sound Internet lines were messed up so Xfinity charged about $200, to put cable through for Internet, we are waiting on at least to start addressing issues Per neighbors they had to struggle 3 months to get minor things and sprinkler system fixed Let's see how long it takes for us One month is already gone. ... Needed a home with ADA accommodations. With the help of our sales person, designer, superintendent, realtor, and the awesome work crew, we are now in our beautiful new home. Couldn’t ask for better!!

We absolutely love our new home! Couldn’t be happier with the builders and their subs. Rick was very responsive and sent updates weekly. We definitely would look at getting another KB, if I ever wanted to move again. Which I don’t.

Michelle met us with her beautiful smile. She listened to our wants and needs and then took us to see the type of home we were looking for. The next day we took the plunge. We felt confident in our decision. The site was beautiful. KB offered options to design the house to our liking. Since we lived out of state Michelle sent us weekly updates on the progress. We eventually met with Dustin who walked us through the construction of the house. Now that we have moved in we couldn’t be happier with the result.
