Things had been resolved from the pressure of closing and not having my appliances in my house at the time of closing but there has been so much turnover in superintendents that issues I had just fell through the cracks. There is no follow-up anymore. Once you close - it's like you don't matter anymore.

The value for the price we paid for our new home is okay, despite the continued issues before after move in. However, the communication and service from the construction team and lender were very disappointing. I would highly recommend that future homebuyers stay far far away from KB.

House looks like it was built in a rush. No quality control was implemented though the building process; lots of details were overlooked. Response to repair issues with the house extremely slow to none.

The house was not ready at the time of delivery, it was even closed two months ago and the house still needs things to fix, the bathroom window, drywall, cabinets with damage, which are supposed to be new and they went and patched it up. I think that when you buy something new it is new and not patched up since I paid for a completely new house It's been two months since I moved and it hasn't been 100% complete I only had 1 walk and 1 day before closing I think it is disrespectful to the buyer that we pay for good quality and service which has not been provided to me.

This is me and my wife first home.The experience wasn't pleasant at all. We understood the pandemic situation and also we understood there may be hiccups the things we couldn't understand how we came into a walk thru that was full of trash our home was not completed when I mean complete is a lot of things that was just throwed together and then communication wasn't that pleasant at first but it seems if you give a bad review or they want you to do a survey they call you more consistently. I am very disappointed in kb home builders because we closed on March 31, 2022. There are still issues that I brought to the superintendent for Carter Landing subdivision in Jacksonville, Florida (Chris) and csr (Cody) whose been downplaying our concerns, but continue building other homes around us as if everything is nonchalant and fine. I have sent pictures through text, provided them with list of concerns, provided them the information to fix our issues and they have sent out several individuals who have showed up, but not have fixed our problems.

I don’t even know where to start here. 5 closing dates which were all pushed back, heavy pressure to close when house wasn’t ready, terrible follow up about things needed to done from superintendent and customer service, overall poor craftsmanship and not to mention my $2000 “full overlay cabinets” were different than in the design studio and they refuse to do anything about it. I will never build with kb again or recommend kb to anyone. No accountability in this company from the TOP down. This was my first experience buying a home and it was ruined. I never got the wow excitement experience because everywhere I looked there was something wrong. Careless things like holes in brand new wall and paint on things that should not have paint on them. The worse issue of all was the worker ate in the unfinished home and left behind a mess a 1 year old child would leave. Additionally, they tried to force me to close on an unfinished home. Horrible buying process, once you buy the home and you fill out the first survey you never can get a call back.

Supposed to have a 1 year warranty on issues but there is no point of contact, the buying experience was horrible and they locked me into not using a realtor. The floors are warped in several homes in this community, the irrigation and land sloping is not bad. Constant issues, I wish KB just followed through with their promises.

We have made several complaints, we were told certain things before buying and now those things are not true. We have had not one thing done with quality in the home, have had issues with door hinges coming off, windows with scratches on them, broken doors, chipped tile, broken and chipped cabinets, flaws in our counter tops, issues with plumbing, poor craftsmanship of walls, power sockets, trim, tile in bathrooms, sprinklers on wrong property, holes in our driveway, dents in cabinets and front door and roof, uneven work done, the stone on the front of house looks sloppy. KB allows convicted felons access to your house-No follow thru-Steals money

KB allowed a convicted felon (many charges and jail time) to be in a supervisory position in the neighborhood, access to all the homes to be the one doing walk-thrus. He lies, represents himself as being able to do additional things for you (fencing, flooring, etc), takes your money and does not do the work. Dangerous

From the moment we signed the contract, it became apparent that quality work and effective communication were not priorities for this company. First and foremost, the construction quality of the house was abysmal. It seemed as though corners were cut at every turn, resulting in a litany of issues. First, I was placed on the waiting list to purchase a home in January of 2022. My name finally came up to purchase a home around March 20th 22. I placed the down payment and the salesperson said my pre-qualification letter and and closing disclosure to me. My realtor and myself, went off on those numbers and planned for the home for several months. A month later, my salesperson from KB sent me a message that he had to apologize for sending me the wrong figures and home information for over a month. Wow. We bought our first home with KB Home. There are pending items to complete but they requested us to close the property and mentioned that they would complete the pending items with in 2-3 weeks of home closure. We almost completed 2+ months and still they did not address the pending items and every day follow-up got a big headache. My recommendation to everyone not to go and close the home without trusting them. Just close the property once everything is addresses.

Through the entire process there was little to no communication unless it was Us reaching out to the Builders of this company. Only time any communication was reciprocated to us is when they needed something, KB really made the experience worse instead of insuring the customer had a wonderful stress free time. We were Hounded and pushed to close when the house was not even complete! Once we conducted our walk through the quality of work was incredibly poor. Sold me a lot then built guest parking on part of my property. Awaiting what they are going to do, otherwise need to take legal counsel. Didn’t even have on the lot map they were adding guest parking near my home. Who wants strangers coming and going outside their doorstep? KB home is terrible, I regret buying my first home with them, and everything in the house is broken and not properly put together. They’re management team sucks and all they do is bluff and talk and don’t get the work done when things need to get fixed. I am grateful to be a homeowner but I wish it wasn’t KB. I would rather go to dr Horton, yet they wanna complain their customers aren’t satisfied and get upset that we’re upset with them, I feel like I brought a 50 year old house because of they built everything in and out the house but complain when I say things are not done.

The finance team was great. Very responsive and never did they my address my questions or concerns. The builder, however, has not been trustworthy. The first superintendent behaved as if I was irrational in expecting him to properly fix issues. The second superintendent dropped the ball and is now attempting to schedule contractors to come out. All the while I have to request time off from work to address issues that were identified and assured would be fixed prior to closing.
