Through the entire process there was little to no communication unless it was Us reaching out to the Builders of this company. Only time any communication was reciprocated to us is when they needed something, KB really made the experience worse instead of insuring the customer had a wonderful stress free time. We were Hounded and pushed to close when the house was not even complete! Once we conducted our walk through the quality of work was incredibly poor. Foundation was NOT level therefore the flooring was wavy and hollow in certain areas, paint on almost every outlet, un even wall heights and the pillars out front were noticeably crooked. The contractors left debris in our drains causing an overflow in the bathroom that flooded the pantry and the kitchen. Were holes in the walls, door knobs in half the rooms were lose and would fall off. With all of that the communication was still very poor, we reached out and every time we’d make a call no one would answer. We would have to call literally 10 times just to get a text back to call another number. The concrete in the garage was poorly finished with a bunch of Honeycomb and cracked edges. It was pretty good I guess

Buying a home is a lot of work, I liked the fact that KB offered a Fannie Mae video explaining all the steps, some of the things that they talked about I had already gone through the process, it would have been more useful if I had none of some of the do's and don'ts. So I suggest when you are ready to purchase your new home to watch this video. Prepare and save for all the expenses that you will have, from you moving , storing, delays etc. Make sure your credit is Good and do our homework. Overall purchasing my home was great and exciting. This was my second time purchasing a home. KB studio was a big plus for me, being able to select and see items going into your home was the best part to me. I was able to design my home just for me inside and out, I didn't have this choice with my first purchase. It seemed like a long process, however if you are prepared and ready to purchase a home KB is a excellent choice. KB got the job done. ... More

I had some issues on my end but KB got me over these issues

This is my experience with the KB home buying process and current warranty cycle. I'm sure others have had different experiences. As mentioned in my survey to KB homes, KB falls in line with most other home builders when it comes to displaying their product, the extras and what your home could look like once completed. They are knowledgably, accountable, and ready to go to the ends of the earth to get one the home of their dreams. This was my experience. However, that experience changed as soon as I closed on the home, the adjective - "accountable" flew out the door. Teams changed and no longer was communication or accountability even a concern. All homes have minor challenges and mine is no different. Understanding that the KB team has to deal with supply chain issues, resourcing challenges and changing priorities I have always tried to be fair with timelines asking for things to be remedied in weeks not days. Trust me I understand I’m not the only homeowner going through these first month pains. With everyone negotiation (or pleading) with the KB team to get things fixed they have promised and never delivered. I feel very dumb even asking for (and agreeing on timelines) because its now a custom that they won’t get completed per our agreed date. It’s been frustrating to say the least. I have been lucky that my issues are not big ones, but the list keeps growing. Luke made the whole experience pleasant!

I was surprise that I had so many issues after closing on my KB home. I bought my house contrary to my realtor, telling me not to buy through KB homes. I hope they will use better materials in the future, and provide more for their home owners.

Rodregus was a terrific part of our purchasing experience. He went above and beyond to ensure my family was able to purchase and move in to our second KB home parallel to the sale of our first KB home. Stacy was a wonderful superintendent to work with. She kept my family and I regularly updated with photos and texts of the progress of our home. She was excellent with addressing issues and questions we had quickly.

I highly recommend KB Homes. Our team did a wonderful job. We couldn't be happier with how they responded to questions and explained what was happening at each point in the process.

I would not recommend to my friends to buy KB Home and totally frustrating with those false statements. they will not be considered once we have closed down homes.

getting discrepancies fixed in a timely manner would be the only thing that would make this experience most excellent. we've been in property 40 days, still waiting for thing to get finished.

I booked the home Nov 2021 with a delivery commitment of May/June 2022; All things were planned accordingly in the covid era so delays due to covid is a mood point but the builder kept referencing to it and delivered the home in Nov 2022; So what that did to me a. Increased rates even with a rate lock b. The houses that was built and delivered was not per the waitlist order c. The discounts that lender can offer was not sufficient enough to cover the loss at closing d. I was renting the house and the timing was so off that i'am unable to rent For potential buyers in to the future, make sure the deliverables are given to you in writing. Things happen which is out of anyone's control but the response to the situation is critical and ask for prior history on how they handled it ... More

My experience with KB Homes has been great! The job supervisor has been attentive and has done everything he can to correct any issues we have found throughout the building process and after closing as well. Thank you for giving my family a great house we can call home!

KB home doesn’t have a good customer service, they don’t solve your problems at all after you close your house. So, is a Poot service.

we were off to a shakey start after closing but Mike has worked with us and continues to respond to our concerns. finally our home is becoming the place we were expecting.

Handoff delays , takes about 45 days to fix any issues reported during close.

Our experience was rocky at first, partly because we had so many bad experiences before KB. We had shaky expectations to purchasing a new construction home. The entire process was not easy but well worth it. There were some things that happened along the way that may have been out of the control of many but we were made to feel that everything would work out and it did. Thanks for our new home!!
