KB Home provided the worst home buying experience a builder could give. The workmanship is horrible (still having the house fix after 2 months of being closed) and even the pending items list at closing is still pending. I was given the wrong cooktop twice and I am still waiting on my new one. Holes on the wall, showers leaking, doors in bad condition, door knobs falling off, outdoor panels popping up, painting pealing, electricity problems, to name a few. Most of it has been blamed on COVID, but COVID cannot be faulted for bad workmanship. I was told that other buyers are going through the same experience (how is that making the situation better?). I had to spend money to live in a Airbnb for almost 2 months because they were not being honest with the information. With the unnecessary money I spent, I could have put another down payment for another house or bought furniture and pay at least 3-4 months on my mortgage. I was left homeless with my family and I was the one that ended up with all the expenses. Will never recommend, I do not like the community, and unfortunately I do not like my house due to the experience KB Home made me go through. ... More

This builder was very thorough and kept me informed every step of the way. I got weekly update of the progress on the construction and I was very pleased with the completion.

Buying a house with KB Homes was a great experience for me and my family. Since the first day we went to the sells office to get some information about the available properties, the sells staff be so professional and shows plenty of knowledge. They keep us in contact during the construction process of the house that we choose. Every week they sent us pictures and updates of the house. By the time of the house inspections the KB inspector a nice guy took us step by step, explaining the process of the different construction phases. The inspector took care of every detail that we found on the walk-in inspection and fixed everything the same day. For us that was an excellent customer service. For all that we mention before we truly recommended KB Homes to everybody that be looking for a safety and nice house to buy. We gave KBH a 100% customer satisfaction. ... More

From start to finish, my experience was more than great, I was living in new jersey when I started looking around Florida to see, who could build me and my family a new house, and that's when I meet Carol , she gave me an experience of a lifetime, I got pictures every week, I watch my home been built from star to finish, the process took about 9months, and it was well worth it thanks kB your secret is out, you guys are the best home builders in central Florida, and the price, was just right, thanks Edwin, thanks Carol, thanks kB

The entire process of the homebuying experience has been poor and lackluster there was no wow factor I was not excited about purchasing the home and after purchasing the home. The new homebuying experience has been stressful and unpleasant the entire processWith the builder and other issues that took place during the build and the after home purchase I’ve been awful. The buying experience did not feel like a new home purchase felt like a used house purchase they were so many problems with the home that had to be addressed and still need to be addressed. Many issues like damaged tile missing grout holes in the wall damage bathtub damage master shower Damage cabinets Dead grass damage garage door cracks and walls missing paint damage stucco. And other minor issues have made the whole buying experience unpleasant. I would not recommend anyone to purchase a home after the experience that we have had. Overall I cannot complain, my home is beautiful and in a beautiful neighborhood. Pros: beautiful home, beautiful neighborhood, nice price and great location Cons: During the process was promised weekly updates from Frank in the beginning. Communication with him was very difficult and far from weekly. After the build there has been several issues that need to be fixed my weeks have been filled with appointments and people come to do the same thing or put a bandaid on an issue. Example, all doors in my home need to be replaced and someone has come to take pictures 3 times and doesn’t seem to have communication of what the next step is. The workers are excellent in customer service but I’m frustrated I can’t fully move in because they haven’t fixed what should have never been broken. The warranty person is nice and responsive for the most part but I feel like slightly aggressive if I can’t answer a call right away. I work night shift so it’s difficult. Not worth your energy, hard earn money and investment. Very unprofessional employees FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM, LOTS OF ISSUES WITH THE QUALITY OF WORK AND CHEAP MATERIALS USED, they try to fix the botched jobs they initially created but then create more work and more issues, Extremely unhappy with my 3016 square foot home, they also lack of empathy towards the new home owners. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND KB HOME BUILDER. unfortunately they ruined what was suppose to be the best experience for my family on building a New home. KBhome Lake Lucerne gets zero stars. RUN!!!!

This has been a great house buying experience!

Buying a KB home has been an adventure for my family, the location was a bit further than we have ventured in the Florida area but it was well worth it for the floor plan. We are very happy with our home.

All the team has responded our question and requests very fast and resolved all our concerns

Overall I had a good experience with all the personal and the same house in other places is very expensive so I had a great deal!!!

My experience with customer service is good.

The whole process was stressful due to the fact that my wife and I had a loan officer who didn’t tell us a thing, he basically did everything on his own without confirming anything with us. Then when we switched to Daliah as our loan officer everything turned around she informed us of everything there is to know. As far as the build of our home there’s issues that should have been caught during the building process. Such as electric sockets not working, cracks between tile, issues with that irrigation system. There was a set back in getting the house built, there’s no sprinkler system in the back yard, I feel that there wasn’t much effort in getting our house built.
