Debbie is the most amazing staff member at KB. Fortunately for me she replaced the first KB rep that left the company. The one negative was the constant change of staff (except for Debbie, who was on point throughout the whole process), that made POCs difficult to follow up with my concerns. Overall I give the whole process a 90/100.

Great experience overall. Personnel went thriugh all details of what us included and not included in the home.

It took 11 months but we only have a few items that need to be completed.

Buying a KB home has been an adventure for my family, the location was a bit further than we have ventured in the Florida area but it was well worth it for the floor plan. We are very happy with our home.

My experience with customer service is good.

Nicely built home, just a couple of design flaws, pertaining the kitchen light placement, the hallway light placement entering the home from the garage, no screen door for the patio and the driveway could be a little wider to accommodate two vehicles. In addition, the garbage and recycling cans need an area on the side of the house to be placed, most likely some type of cement platform.

The whole process was amazing but the best part was finally moving in. House was build pretty quick and well build. The whole team was very respectful and responsive. Pedro who was my sales representative did an amazing job keeping updated with anything corporate related. Hector who was the superintendent didn’t let me miss anything as far as building process, super awesome guy. KB Homes is the way to go, you will get your build house like no other.

Sales person, designer and contractor have been good! Finance on the other hand was not good, terrible information and was not there for us at closing. Didn’t answer phone or call back on day of closing as we had questions. Customer service for warranty, has terrible lack of time in responding. A simple “ working on it” would suffice but she prefers not to respond at all. Poor cleaning of construction after being in the house.

The sales process was very easy and the sales representative was 1 of the reason we went with the community.

So far no problems. Chris and Juan have been very helpful throughout the process. The only bad review is the loan process and the title company. They bring the whole experience lower.

Well, overall this was a good buying experience for me. I should mention that this was not my first home buying experience but it was a first new build purchase & first in the state of Florida; I am from the Northeast. Doing things from that far away was a challenge. I was glad that I was well versed! My star rating would have been a 4 & 1/2 but there is no half-star so I keep it at 4*

After looking at existing and new construction homes in the Lakeland area, we came to the decision to buy a home in Hickory Ranch because of the quality of the homes, no CDD's, the smaller size of the community. So far we are overall satisfied with our decision, enjoying our new home and neighbors. We are still waiting on a few post-construction issues to be resolved with moving of sprinkler heads, resolving yard drainage issues and a few minor things, but all other issues have been resolved in a timely fashion. We are confident these issues will be resolved for us and our neighbors who share some of the same yard drainage issues. ... More
