KB has very attractive advertised features. The workmanship is the process to remedy issues is slow. Most dissapointing is a contractually mistake they've made without fixing the issue. However they also refuse to say they won't fix it so that I can move to arbitration. Delayed responses and promises to return calls are typical even with time sensitive departments like KB's mortgage team.

I was disappointed since I bought my first house here in USA 10 years ago with KB Home so I really trusted this time. Unfortunately since my first sales rep left KB Home in the middle of the process the relationship get very weak until now Seems you are not well prepared for international sales. I bought this house for moving me here as primary house but I am am foreign so as family lost the first air tickets when the closing date was moved indefinitely just 4 days before the written promised date, and although it was somehow compensated in the final price it was a big inconvenient to do ...

I made the deal in November 2021 with a delivery date of 6 months, I signed in September 2022 a house that still had construction defects with the deal that we had a 2-year warranty on repairs. 3 days after signing the house it rained and the roof had a leak that wet my carpet in October hurricane Ian passed category 1 and in the area it did not feel as much but it broke the wall inside near the window because the corner of the window had a crack and the water leaked, adding that they just opened two holes in the ceiling because they did not connect the air conditioning ducts and the air was ...

Most of my issues are with KBHS. Very incompetent. My understanding is that since my closing they fired about half the KBHS staff at the regional office. Been 7 weeks since closing and still waiting for a refund for double charging me for an appraisal. Also still waiting for items that were not completed and have yet to be fixed. Overall the home is very nice and we like the area. Stay away from KBHS if you can. Reason I gave value for the price paid 2 stars is that they are currently selling my model for $20,000 less than I paid.

Personally the people are personable. Questions are always answered and I appreciate that. The quality of my home is not that great. I feel like the home was rushed, even though the home took longer than expected to be completed. Unfinished painting around the home, chips and dents as well. All in all, promises are not kept and quality is not there either. Not a great first home buying experience on their end.

To make it short and sweet.... An overall lack of organization and comunication. Theres no follow through, one issue after another. Two months after move in and theres still things to be installed or repaired in the home. I was hoping for a good experience but sadly KB and its proyect managers did not meet my expectations. I wanted to be in love with my house and at the end I regretted my desition. I would not buy KB Home again.

My expectations were not satisfactory, too many construction details that I am still finding, several defects of the house have not yet been corrected, despite being reported. At the time of the closing there was too much misinformation and lack of coordination between the bank and the construction company, causing the closing date to be changed several times. I would like that they could correct all the details to obtain what I initially bought.

I suggest not to close until all issues are resolved. After you close they take for ever to resolved your problems. I closed 3 months ago and still waiting for a cabinet door.

process was inline with expectation, in regards to the time it took to build the home and close. The closing process was messy and a lot of back and fourth between KBH and title company due to errors in the paperwork, it was very stressful. I was unware of the large slope in the backyard which takes away half of the backyard, 20 ft vs 40 ft. Additionally, the tree in the backyard has not been removed as promised even though its on my property and was supposed to be removed prior to building. Cant get anyone in KBH to give me a straight answer as to when it'll get removed. Somewhat regret ...

I am still waiting on a few jobs to be corrected or finalized in house. I have been told to "be patient" or just do not hear back to set up a date for completion. It is now going to be hard (after 2 months) to get dates coordinated due to my work schedule. 1) Lawn is horrible as they put in pods after cold front and nothing is "filling in" as I was advised. It is very "sandy" and on one side of house the pads are not growing together. 2) 2 new doors, to fix issues with doors at closing, were ordered incorrectly and still waiting to get them replaced. 3) No one has come to put "pads" on ...

If I could choose a different builder I would. There are so many little things that need to be done which you express to the builders/sales team but nothing gets done and you get no updates. As 1 example, we had a broken cabinet (which we weren't told) they had someone come out and replace it but then left a scratch/dig on the face of the cabinet. I called & sent pictures they told me they will handle it but it's been over a month and haven't received an update. They harass you to give them great survey reviews but there work is far from great.

Do your homework, have patience and stay dilligent and atand your ground. Unfortunately the lack of communication, language barriers and transparency has been poor from start to finish. The home is beautiful, the process has been painful. Extremely painful. I wish we had a different experience. It is supposed to be THE most exciting time of your life, sadly KB hasn't made us feel that way. We are almost two months in and still working to complete the punch list to make things right.

I don't know if the workmanship went down because of the Covid19 and we ended up with 3 different contractors working on our house. We did not get many chance to walk the house until then end. We had brought up some issues and was told it was part of the build. I had also pointed out some stuff to be fixed in our final walk and because the walk was the afternoon before the signing I could not verify that they were not fixed. We had to rush the closing because of the pandemic because there were so many uncertainties and felt like we were threatened to cancel the sale if we did not do certain ...

Don't use KBhome. The workmanship is very messy. They build fast and that leaves a lot of room for mistakes and carelessness

If you ever have to deal with the builder for preserve pointe the god bless you but sales team is great and know how to communicate as well as the lender for kb we had.
