At first any issues were fixed quickly but now it’s taking a long time to get things fixed. Our back patio cracked after living here about 1-2 weeks and no one has come out to fix that yet, as well as our front walkway crumbling at the corners. Then we discovered a leak in our kitchen window about 3 weeks ago and still waiting on someone to fix. About a week after closing we submitted a request due to the kitchen cabinets having numerous scratches, dents, and black markings on them. I did pay for the most expensive cabinet upgrade and am very disappointed with the quality of them. We also upgraded to vinyl plank flooring which was supposed to be durable, but we have already made multiple deep scratches from minimal use and no kids or pets. Price was very expensive and the quality isn’t there. Our bathtubs have red markings on them that I can not seem to remove no matter what I try, backsplash is cut uneven in some places and grout is sloppy. Caulking was done but sloppy. Trim work is pretty bad, almost every corner is cut wrong, and there are some areas with deep scratches on it that we’re never fixed. Also upon moving in they got hundreds (not even exaggerating) paint drips all over my floors that we had to crawl around and try to scrape up, and even 2 months later we still have paint drips on the floor. I bought an inventory house so many things I can not say anything even very weird design and people sale people just answer me 《 someone ordered this house that way 》 but very weird issue for example Outlet power did not work any button on the walls when I installed fans I can use only remote control but they told me someone ordered to build this way so why we stupid to pay and build all button off and on the lights and fans on the walls?? Why? Or another sample outside under the roof we got 3 corners got outlet power for camera system and they missed one corner front right side I showed them and asked for help they also defensed people designed this way so we can not do the 4th one for you Cable outlet for TV only master room and living room got outlet. 3 others room did not have outlet! 3 others builders around showed me it was standardized nowadays Well I paid 20 000 usd to get kb house more than other 3 builders around same zone same square feet 1700 but quality was worse and old design more than them if I paid 233000 to buy a house at Ryan builder I got full upgraded back Patio tiles sinks fans wsher dryer all set Well I learned a big lesson to buy first house then Too late to say anywords ... Quality Check is not done properly. Many things have issues.

Sales staff are the best, but unfortunately the attention for other people with issues and concerns have to be better.

Look over every thing real good inside the house and outside, you will find a lot of little things that need to fixed or work on to make it work or look right

My experience with KB Home in Wilder Pines, Lakeland, FL has been frustrating. Since moving in, I’ve encountered ongoing issues with the quality and condition of my home. I’ve reached out to the customer service team several times, but the follow-up has been inconsistent, and many of my concerns remain unresolved. One of the most challenging aspects has been the lack of communication. Promises to return calls or provide updates have not been followed through, which has left me feeling overlooked during a time when support should be a priority. I expected better accountability and service after closing on my home. Unfortunately, my experience has not met those expectations. Great floor plan, looks great from a distance. Final finishes are not up to anyone’s standards quality control definitely lacks

The whole process was stressful due to the fact that my wife and I had a loan officer who didn’t tell us a thing, he basically did everything on his own without confirming anything with us. Then when we switched to Daliah as our loan officer everything turned around she informed us of everything there is to know. As far as the build of our home there’s issues that should have been caught during the building process. Such as electric sockets not working, cracks between tile, issues with that irrigation system. There was a set back in getting the house built, there’s no sprinkler system in the back yard, I feel that there wasn’t much effort in getting our house built. Everyone was kind, but the house has many things to fix and several details and they have not communicated or told me when they come…

The process with Kb Home has been interesting. On one hand, there are very nice floorplans and lots of options to semi customize your home. However, my experience was a bit challenging because no one shared details with me of the KB Home process. There were disconcerting moments with the sales department, design center, and with the loan processing department, in particular. I have had several challenges getting a response on some issues and currently even with the title company that KB Home uses.

Given the location of the property (Tivoli Reserve), the house is over priced

Was a long process. Home is good, but some of the workmanship can be better.

overall experience was ok and workmanship was somewhat sloppy and looked rushed. Lots of small details were misses and in turn becomes a headache to have it fixed.

The overall experience was longer than promised but worth the wait. I love my new home and community. The Superintendent, Dan, is amazing. He went above and beyond for me and my family.

KB has very attractive advertised features. The workmanship is the process to remedy issues is slow. Most dissapointing is a contractually mistake they've made without fixing the issue. However they also refuse to say they won't fix it so that I can move to arbitration. Delayed responses and promises to return calls are typical even with time sensitive departments like KB's mortgage team.

I was disappointed since I bought my first house here in USA 10 years ago with KB Home so I really trusted this time. Unfortunately since my first sales rep left KB Home in the middle of the process the relationship get very weak until now Seems you are not well prepared for international sales. I bought this house for moving me here as primary house but I am am foreign so as family lost the first air tickets when the closing date was moved indefinitely just 4 days before the written promised date, and although it was somehow compensated in the final price it was a big inconvenient to do travel arrangements again. After closing was finally made I couldn’t receive the house because cleaning was not done even when I already have closed and paid. I found good support in the sales general manager for solving that issue the night before travel back to my born country w/o the possibility of a good checking, but again one more inconvenient. Now that I finally began my moving I found bad cleaning details, bad terminations in painting and carpets joints and cabinets don’t cared during the construction but the most important errors were a broken thermostat that made the AC work wrong and Not leaving a single TV jack point anywhere in the house so I couldn’t get internet service as due because that construction error… The issues keep going because regardless to do the notifications to the construction supervisor they take long for solving, if I dont call for follow up I dont receive updates and suddenly contractors come to my door w/o a previous notification and they lost their time because I am not at home or prepared for let them work.. I made the deal in November 2021 with a delivery date of 6 months, I signed in September 2022 a house that still had construction defects with the deal that we had a 2-year warranty on repairs. 3 days after signing the house it rained and the roof had a leak that wet my carpet in October hurricane Ian passed category 1 and in the area it did not feel as much but it broke the wall inside near the window because the corner of the window had a crack and the water leaked, adding that they just opened two holes in the ceiling because they did not connect the air conditioning ducts and the air was not reaching the first floor, that the bathtub has a crack too , and that the paint they use is cracked and had many paint defects, that the garage floor was cracked (they fixed it), the carpet was left with staples, and the bathroom door has to be lifted to open it because it doesn't roll and every day you can find some more details, that to be a new house it should not have so many problems and that as a buyer I would not want to have to go through it because it is not what I expected ... Finish at home to manny details, low quality materials, Iam very upset, i have before new home in other builders and the quality is very different

Most of my issues are with KBHS. Very incompetent. My understanding is that since my closing they fired about half the KBHS staff at the regional office. Been 7 weeks since closing and still waiting for a refund for double charging me for an appraisal. Also still waiting for items that were not completed and have yet to be fixed. Overall the home is very nice and we like the area. Stay away from KBHS if you can. Reason I gave value for the price paid 2 stars is that they are currently selling my model for $20,000 less than I paid.

Personally the people are personable. Questions are always answered and I appreciate that. The quality of my home is not that great. I feel like the home was rushed, even though the home took longer than expected to be completed. Unfinished painting around the home, chips and dents as well. All in all, promises are not kept and quality is not there either. Not a great first home buying experience on their end.

To make it short and sweet.... An overall lack of organization and comunication. Theres no follow through, one issue after another. Two months after move in and theres still things to be installed or repaired in the home. I was hoping for a good experience but sadly KB and its proyect managers did not meet my expectations. I wanted to be in love with my house and at the end I regretted my desition. I would not buy KB Home again.

My expectations were not satisfactory, too many construction details that I am still finding, several defects of the house have not yet been corrected, despite being reported. At the time of the closing there was too much misinformation and lack of coordination between the bank and the construction company, causing the closing date to be changed several times. I would like that they could correct all the details to obtain what I initially bought.

I suggest not to close until all issues are resolved. After you close they take for ever to resolved your problems. I closed 3 months ago and still waiting for a cabinet door.
