Don't use KBhome. The workmanship is very messy. They build fast and that leaves a lot of room for mistakes and carelessness

The builder in charge of neighborhood was extremely terrible and my home shows it

If you ever have to deal with the builder for preserve pointe the god bless you but sales team is great and know how to communicate as well as the lender for kb we had.

Just a heads up once you pass your 30 days in the home and have to deal with the warranty department you will sit and wait for them to get those items fix. You also do not get any updates so you are kept in the dark on the items that you submitted. So beware.

The sales and design team were great, we designed a home we were looking forward to. We got word of our closing date and would have the new home orientation the day before and the home was not finished with many issues. We were asked to come back the next day before our closing and we were promised the house would be finished with a final clean completed. The next day we arrived to much the same home. My experience was not great at all. Everything was rushed to close hearing from other workers around working on the home. I was told that KB rushes homes to get #’s skipping big quality checks. employees get treated like numbers no value to the home buyers just searching for good surveys to getting popularity numbers and land to keep building. I’ll be selling my home due to so many things to fix and chasing warranty and kb superiors to resolve once I finished my survey I was let go and no one reached out. Overall building experience was horrible the builder was rude and argumentative. Because of waiting on cabinets my house sat in worked on for months. We were given weekly progress report but everything we were told was done or getting done would not be completed. When we went to written contact since verbally we were not getting any results. From the beginning I experienced irresponsibility, racism and disrespect to the costumer. My home has a broken tile,the banister is almost broken too, a skin with horrible quality and stained, the kitchen sink look like rusted. we were also asked to lie in order to give a good review to the company, the Superintendent offered us gifts if I gave her a good review. After that we started having more issues she ignored my messages, her name was Isabeau. So no, I won’t recommend this company AT ALL.

House was not completed properly on due date. Many issues existed that were located after we moved in. Items ordered and installed were not the same as we had selected in the showroom. Everything that needed to get corrected is an order that gets placed and then your at the mercy of the contractor to show up weeks later. There is no quality control. No one is monitoring the actual work of the corrections. Sometimes out of the blue a contractor would show up unexpectedly. The warranty department takes days to answer. Stop and reconsider. The sales manager is the worst person and provides awful customer service. He want me to desist from buying the house, and he was glad that that was the outcome. I persisted because otherwise they would have kept my deposit. The lender that they offer is literally unresponsive. I closed with another lender and never received an answer from KB home lender… why? They offer 10k closing cost assistance, but is just a trick! Not worth your energy, hard earn money and investment. Very unprofessional employees FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM, LOTS OF ISSUES WITH THE QUALITY OF WORK AND CHEAP MATERIALS USED, they try to fix the botched jobs they initially created but then create more work and more issues, Extremely unhappy with my 3016 square foot home, they also lack of empathy towards the new home owners. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND KB HOME BUILDER. unfortunately they ruined what was suppose to be the best experience for my family on building a New home. KBhome Lake Lucerne gets zero stars. RUN!!!!

KB Home provided the worst home buying experience a builder could give. The workmanship is horrible (still having the house fix after 2 months of being closed) and even the pending items list at closing is still pending. I was given the wrong cooktop twice and I am still waiting on my new one.
