Stop and reconsider. The sales manager is the worst person and provides awful customer service. He want me to desist from buying the house, and he was glad that that was the outcome. I persisted because otherwise they would have kept my deposit. The lender that they offer is literally unresponsive. I closed with another lender and never received an answer from KB home lender… why? They offer 10k closing cost assistance, but is just a trick! They did not provide me anything or give me information on why. The sales team was NOT present when I closed on the home… they avoided me! I got the keys in a bag on the garage… the only person greeted us where contractors that were still painting the home and cleaning… obviously they had no clue who we were. The house was delivered dirty, a knife blade on the kitchen countertop, bottles with paint open on the floor, it’s was horrible. We had not heard anything from KB home customer service about this… even as I competed a survey already… so that proves that they really don’t care about you. They only want you to blindly fill these surveys to make them look good on social media, but in reality their customer service is bad. ... More

I am in love with the layout of home, however quality isn’t the greatest. I have advised the builder of ongoing issues within the home, I have yet to receive a permanent fix.

My experience has been good with the salesperson, the studio personnel, the Superintendent and the original Home Loan representative, during the absence of the original Home Loan rep, things started to get a little off color and NOT as organized as inception, The coordinator was great at collecting the info and handing it off to the proper associates, from there on is where the loan fell apart and the Underwriter was a total dictator and my loan was put together with incompetence. A blind man could have done a better job structuring this loan, I even gave them 100k in advance, 6 months prior to closing to secure the loan and still could NOT get the loan organized in the proper fashion, I would strongly advise anyone who decided to get a loan from KB Homes to be very aware of who they deal with as some people have the structure and experience to do things but I am marveled at how others even have jobs within the Mortgage industry. They should focus more on hiring people with the skill level of accomplishing things instead of people who continuously apologize, and nothing gets done. I terminated the Home Loan with KB Homes and went elsewhere, got what I wanted and expected. I am extremely happy with the Superintendent and the salesperson; they have great professional conduct. Very responsive with a get it done mentality. Everything outside the Home Loan has been a good experience. Quality Check is not done properly. Many things have issues.

In this current market you’d expect homes to be built better then ever. Interest rates are high and house prices are higher then ever. For those families still wanting to purchase a house. Buying one poorly built and shown lack of professionalism is disappointing. Trying to get someone to come do repairs is a joke. I thought it was just my house but after speaking with my neighbors it’s all our houses. When I met with KB homes the first time I was told how well their homes are built and how attentive they are to details when building homes. This is a like and a total joke. I love the new house but I have to tell that my walls material are not a good quality, also I think that the streets at this neighborhood are too narrow, and finally the room closets are too small.

My experience was not great at all. Everything was rushed to close hearing from other workers around working on the home. I was told that KB rushes homes to get #’s skipping big quality checks. employees get treated like numbers no value to the home buyers just searching for good surveys to getting popularity numbers and land to keep building. I’ll be selling my home due to so many things to fix and chasing warranty and kb superiors to resolve once I finished my survey I was let go and no one reached out. I will suggest buy else we’re kb Home isn’t the same 3 years back they were number 1! Now they need a change. ... More
