After moving in Alex and Isabeau checking is all the time to make sure we are all set and if we need anything. I was impressed by their customer support.

It was transparent, sales staff where clear and to the point. They do!! go the extra mile to help you!!!

I am still waiting on a few jobs to be corrected or finalized in house. I have been told to "be patient" or just do not hear back to set up a date for completion. It is now going to be hard (after 2 months) to get dates coordinated due to my work schedule. 1) Lawn is horrible as they put in pods after cold front and nothing is "filling in" as I was advised. It is very "sandy" and on one side of house the pads are not growing together. 2) 2 new doors, to fix issues with doors at closing, were ordered incorrectly and still waiting to get them replaced. 3) No one has come to put "pads" on bottom of slider doors to fill in area that bugs can get in and air conditioning can go thru costing me money. 4) I was told at closing they would come to do "touch up" paint that has not happened, 2 months past closing. 5) Master bath toilet is lose and causing me to primarily have to use the guest bathroom being afraid it will completely seperate causing bigger issues. 6) I was never given a tutorial on setting up irrigation system. Each time I had an issue someone came and made adjustment without advising me or showing me what they were doing. They system kept running in cycles one after the other causing me to have a water bill of over $200 for the first month living here. process was inline with expectation, in regards to the time it took to build the home and close. The closing process was messy and a lot of back and fourth between KBH and title company due to errors in the paperwork, it was very stressful. I was unware of the large slope in the backyard which takes away half of the backyard, 20 ft vs 40 ft. Additionally, the tree in the backyard has not been removed as promised even though its on my property and was supposed to be removed prior to building. Cant get anyone in KBH to give me a straight answer as to when it'll get removed. Somewhat regret buying this home, while definitely sell this home in the near future. ... More

Some difficulties in the closing date, because change the price to pay off down, ok

The sales and design team were great, we designed a home we were looking forward to. We got word of our closing date and would have the new home orientation the day before and the home was not finished with many issues. We were asked to come back the next day before our closing and we were promised the house would be finished with a final clean completed. The next day we arrived to much the same home. The house was missing pantry shelves, the countertop had screw holes in it and wasn’t secure to the cabinets, the flooring transitions were not secured, outlets we asked to be moved more than a month prior we’re still not moved, garage door opener was not installed, the house had not been fully cleaned and a full host of other issues. We were promised that while we were at the closing the shelves would be installed, same with the garage door opener, the electrician would move the outlet and the countertop would be fixed as well as a final clean. We were lied too, none of these things happened. To get these issues fixed we had to go through the warranty service. Yes, to get items that should have been installed we had to go to the warranty service. It took over a month after closing to get our shelves in the pantry. It is now almost 2 months after we closed and the list of issues is long and have yet to be addressed by KB Homes. I would not purchase a KB Home again. ... More
