Overall experience was excellent. Our site rep (Mario) was very attentive to our questions and/or concerns. He was consistent in providing updates throughout the process and was very responsive to a few issues/questions that were identified after we moved in... They were immediately addressed. Great home.

From the first meeting to the last, the people were responsive, caring and problem solvers. The KB team is committed to making the building experience stress less.

Kb homes built us our dream home exactly the way we wanted. We were able to be part of the build process from start to finish.

KB built us a beautiful home! Dave and Johnnie were amazing throughout the process and were great at keeping us informed on the progress. We wish we had a bigger yard but overall we are thrilled!

Our contractors were and still are amazing with communication and fixing anything we have needed. We are extremely happy with our home purchase, We just wish the sales agent was just as good with communication as the actual contractors are. A few things we hit a snag on but decided to overlook because how great everyone else on property has been. Aside from the home the HOA could be a bit of a pain which makes the overall experience here a bit overwhelming.

KB employees are 10+ in communication, promptly and courteous always.

To be honest, I was not happy with the contractors HOWEVER, if and when there was an issue Anthony and Mario worked endlessly to resolve it. I trust KB Home solely because of the amazing work ethic from Mario and OUTSTANDING customer service and industry knowledge from Anthony. Anthony moved mountains for us to be happy… and we are!

Couldn't say enough good things about Anthony, Mario and and KB team. From picking the lot to the entire build out, we would highly recommend talking to them if in the market for a great home in a great location.

Control from HOA is bad heads up

Simple straight forward process. Lots of customization.

While at the end of the day we are happy with the home we purchased, the process to get here was a nightmare. The gross majority of the information received from the KB sales staff and superintendent was inaccurate. Everything from being able to upgrade to St. Augustine grass, to the size of our lot, to lying about when permits were submitted, to assuring us that we would have reclaimed water for irrigation, and the list goes on and on. The construction quality turned out OK, but only because I was at the home site almost every single day and pointed out the very obvious issues and code violations that were included in the initial construction. If I was not there everyday to identify these issues, they would not have been fixed. Anytime we brought up an issue the response from KB management was, "You're welcome to back out of your contract and then we'll resell the home for more than you paid." This is KB's attitude toward their customers. Our home was over 7 months behind schedule. We signed the contract in Dec 2021 and didn't close until April 2023. The delays were due to mismanagement, not supply issues. We found KB completing other homes in our neighborhood that were not under contract until MONTHS after ours. When we brought this up they stated that they mixed up the paperwork and our got pushed to the "bottom of the stack". In the last month of our build - KB brought in the superintendent's manager to take over the completion of our home and working directly with this manager resulted in us getting the home completed. ... Fit and finish is NEVER perfect, and I understand that, However follow up and follow through. Too many emails never responded to and once we do get someone to respond, very defensive in nature. Not asking for perfection, just understanding. Simplest step KB could do is to simple say, "I hear your concern and here are the options . . ." In stead of, "well that is the subcontractor, or that is construction, or that is sales . . . " Overall I am satisfied with the house, however not the follow through.

There are some that go out of their way for service and others that use excuses as to why they can not help. The drainage of the lots are not into ponds or conservation area, and there is no recyclable water in phase 2, leaving very high water bills, no street lights, no amenities, and no customer service.

The people of KB Homes are like family. They are up front on what is going on with your home. They are respectfully and work very Harding to give you the best quality in your homes. I would pay other home with them.

The end to end experience was great! The team was in constant communication before and after.

Friendly staff that is there for you when you need them. They were patient and explained everything. The only issue was with setting the closing date due to VA loan.

When you have a customized track home built, it is expected that you will incur workmanship issues and areas of concern along the way and even after closing. How these issues of concern are handled is truly what makes or breaks the feeling you have for the builder/supervisor of the community. KB Homes sales counselors set very high expectations for the quality of the workmanship, the community planning, and the communication with the staff that you will be receiving. The quality of workmanship was much lower than expected, the community itself is coming along nicely, but the communication and after-the-sale performance are where they fall very short of your lowest expectations. OVERALL, KB Homes is a good builder offering a quality home at a fair price. I would recommend them to a friend with some cautions and the need for a lot of patience. A few tweaks with the personnel who has direct contact with the buyer and standing by what you say from start to finish would definitely take KB Homes from being an average builder to becoming an outstanding builder again. ... Our first home experience was above what we could have expected. From the sales personnel, to our builder, and loan officer, each and everyone was always responsive, respectful, and always there to help us out with any questions or concerns throughout the process. The home came out beautifully and just as we had designed, by far we are 100% happy to have chosen KB Home.

The entire team has been really kind and professional during the process. Any minor issue that has come since we moved has been handled immediately

Super intendent was amazing! They have great customer service after you close.

House wasn’t completely finished when we moved in and it’s been 7weeks now and we are still waiting for things to be finished. We love our house just wish they would have completed the job prior to us moving in.

Workmanship was rushed and corners were cut. There instances where workmanship was decent, KB ended up using cheap or worn material. I was told "nothing is going to be perfect" multiple times where there were chipped rocks in our stone, warped areas in our roof, soft spots in our floor, paint to cover over chips on doors, and etc. I understand making a profit but mistakes were made multiple times over where if done correctly the first time it would have saved time and money.
