The home loan closing with KB showed complete incompetence. No one knew if we were in a flood zone and I paid twice for flood insurance and I have not received a refund still. They did not answer any calls or emails at the end and delay after delay after delay. No transparancy at all. The closing process was terrible. Thank goodness this our last home. Even if it wasnt I am not sure I would choose KB again because of the terrible customer service with the loan department .

Great price home was build during pandemic but still was done right

Final result was a nice home with a few flaws. The process getting there was slow, poorly managed, significantly delayed and a last minute mad dash allowing for small flaws to be easily overlooked. Perhaps that's the strategy of the builder. Overall the project seemed chaotic with poor project management resulting in tons of contractor rework because someone isn't familiar with scheduling and order of operations to build a home. There were multiple instances where the proceeded with the project without a prior step completer. For example, hanging drywall without complete electrical resulting in drywall patches with mismatched textures. Or insulating the attic without complete electrical resulting in the electrician removing or destroying attic insulation. ... More

The entire KB team was very cooperative, helpful, patient and knowledgeable. A few glitches in getting in because of the Covid virus, but that is not the builders fault. Timeline to close was moved at least three times and that cost me additional monies ~ to store my furniture. That basically is my only issue. Some of which was not the builders fault. Any structure issue are being addressed - minor trim work is being fixed. The value and property are exceptional. One criticism I would list is that the landscaping is almost identical for each house in this phase of the Verona development. I have been in my house since June and I am still waiting for issues to be fixed. KB is quick to get the closing done but not so quick on getting items identified on the punch out list fixed.

Jesse was always available to answer whatever questions pr concerns that surfaced.

Customer always comes first. You need to do this in order to achieve success.

Numerous drainage issues in front and side yards and am tired of the same old answer of this is Florida and if water standing more than 48 hours it is ok. Part of front yard and sides are a constant mud pit.

expected better finish than delivered. Ok, but not great. small things not up to par. Need someone on site before closing to review the complete structure for finish - paint, flooring, install etc. House was not up to standards or readiness and cleanliness. Jess saved the day at closing.

The house features, efficiency and design the best. Service and warranty is good, however there is room for opportunity in the warranty responsiveness. The construction workmanship is bad, needs to put more attention to details!

Before closing, KB was unable to get trades to finish or repair poor workmanship. Closing was delayed due to unfinished and poor workmanship. KB drywall & concrete contractors produce deplorable work. The interior walls were not sanded prior to paint and orange-peel was unsuccessfully used to attempt to mask workmanship defects. After closing: Most trades are slow to respond to warranty issues. KB super does not follow up with contractors or homeowner on repair/rework status. Two months have passed and several warranty items have not been addressed. Specifically: Electrical defects in outlets, missing light fixtures, french door alignment/adjustment, shower doors in both bathrooms need replaced (was told this would be upgraded August 2nd with no response to date), paint touch-up after drywall work. We get lip service from KB representatives when we elevate issues. We are told things will happen or that they are working on a resolution, but then have no communication for weeks, only to find that nothing has been done to fix issues. Leaks in tile grout are now causing damage to interior walls. In summary, the finish work on the house is terrible and KB home supers will not follow-up without my constant reminder. Stay on top of your house and issues will be extremely pleased in the end

Home was ready in the timeframe provided by sales representative, who also kept me updated with progress during building. Any issue after moving in was quickly addressed and resolved. We love our new home and the whole experience was professional and a pleasure!

Very bad on communication. They almost never get back with you on anything. We closed two months ago an still cant get paint and things fixed that they promised would be done if we closed. They want you in so that they don't have to do any more work.

CHECK EVERYTHING WHEN MOVING IN. THE HOUSE IS WELL DONE, BUT SOME THINGS MAY BE FORGOTTEN BY THE PEOPLE WHO ARE IN CHARGE.
