Got my house with things missing, the house was dirty, appliances, hardware, missing. They miss calculated the amount of closing, had to pull extra money in. It was a hot mess.. still waiting for things to be resolved.

Worst Decision Ever…….

Date given for closing -house wasn’t ready. Once closing was done a multitude of inappropriate installments were noted.. For example: shower pan was installed it had a crack and empty spaces underfoot. Requested a new one and the gentleman stated it was malfunction from the manufacturer and they didn’t understand why it was installed. The shower door leaked due to little to no silicone per gentleman removing it. After replacing shower pan plastic cover not removed because it was no one’s job. So we removed it and caulking around tile and pan has yet to be redone 3 weeks later. The grout ...

Started out good. Appraisal was not what we expected. After living in the house for 1 month. And discovering the construction and item was poorly installed. Promises made for first 30 days to get a good review. Additionally, KB HoA contract stipulations is not in the best interest for homeowners when it comes to lot boundary lines to allow each homeowner to install their own fence. Looking at the overall quality, Very very poor. . You all are not recommended. All the best.

Save yourself the heartache and look elsewhere. Workmanship is poor and sloppy. Never knew we would have so many issues with our brand new home. The community is great which is the only redeeming quality. It’s just unfortunate the home quality does not reflect the price you pay.

The house was delivered to us with many details, broken walls, glass with details in doors and windows, they did not clean the house, it was delivered dirty and with paint on the carpets, the gate was hit and they still did not replace the panel. The peivers were not cured, painting details inside the house still not done. The master closet done very badly. The truth is that we are not happy with the house because it was delivered to us with many things to do and it was delivered out of time. We are not happy.

Unfortunately the entire experience was not what we were expecting. From the time we signed the contract to closing it felt at most times pulling teeth from construction to know about the status of our home. They would not commit to any estimate closing dates even though our sales coordinator and finance told us they can see on reports of one. When we got closer to closing, our superintendent of construction did not inform us until the day before closing that he was not going to have about 7 things ready in the home until after closing. In the beginning of the home buying process Every thing was great. However when we came very close to closing our closing date was pushed back by three months. Not to mention the chicken farm and it smells horrendous at least half of the week. If I could go back in time I would not build again with KB Homes this was a horrible experience and I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. The warranty that they have set up is a big joke every time you call about something that’s broken it takes them 2 to 3 weeks to respond. Purchase at your own risk.

The House from Hell

They weren't worth a crap. This is my opinion which I am entitiled to. Poor construction. Poor quality of work and resolving problems. Slow in making repairs. They didn't show us how to operate water, air conditioning systems (poor orientation). Failed to mention we were close to a chicken farm, which stinks at times. This only positive thing is they do communicate good with us. But actions spreak louder than words. We would never recomend KB Home to our worst enemy. The HOA is a nightmare to deal with. We will be selling ASAP.

The sales department pressured the construction team to meet an end of quarter deadline to boost their sales for the quarter. We closed on 8/31/21. THE HOUSE WAS NOT COMPLETED!!! There were major punch items like large holes (12'x9") cut into the wall to access the HVAC unit that was not repaired, cabinets were still being completed while we were waiting for utility companies days after closing. Home was "cleaned" before home was "complete" leaving grit and dust all over the floors and countertops and plenty of dirt on the carpets. The communication from the mortgage representative was ...
