We are beyond thrilled with our KB Home. Our Construction Manager, Mike, was a godsend at getting us into our home as quickly as possible. We just experienced our first hurricane in the home and it was rock solid. Inside, you would have no idea the chaos happening outdoors. We had zero damage. So thankful to the KB Team for building us our vision and creating the home our children will grow up in!

I have had Great responsive and prompt service for issues that happen with my home repairs. Carlos and Kyle have go e over and beyond to ensure that my repairs and repairs are done. Thank You for being so professional in this matter.

High cost - Finishing was not good

Every aspect of the buying experience was good.

The purchase experience was excellent, Joe in the sales team always kept us up to date with the development of the construction by sending weekly videos of the progress, it was a very beautiful process in which I have to highlight Don Carlos who solved us all the details at the end, I also want to thank all the other people who were involved in this whole buying experience, such as Jackie, Fabian, Joy, Kyle, Lauren, thank you very much for all the favors received, I highly recommend KBH to do the dream of your new home come true.

Great service and a great quality

Purchasing and construction department and personnel were exceptional. However, the person handling the warranty side---is totally unprofessional. If I known that this person --Carlos-- handled our warranty I would have never bought from KB homes. I have said let me have someone else handle any warranty issue---but so far I have not received any response.

As a new homeowner I felt my hand was held the entire time. I had a team the entire time with me.

Norman was very responsible man every time I need him to help me with something he was there, Ashley the warranties manager.Also very responsible.

In the beginning of the home buying process Every thing was great. However when we came very close to closing our closing date was pushed back by three months. Not to mention the chicken farm and it smells horrendous at least half of the week. If I could go back in time I would not build again with KB Homes this was a horrible experience and I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. The warranty that they have set up is a big joke every time you call about something that’s broken it takes them 2 to 3 weeks to respond. Purchase at your own risk.

I am happy about my purchase, however felt for a first time buyer it could have went better

Rose is fantastic from day one she was always attentive and informed us on what was going on, Timothy I call him the main man he is very informative and explained everything we need to know I love his calmness I will work with him any day. Ashley Is super wonderful she responds really quickly and gets the job done when you call her our text her you do get a response quickly they all do and yes I will tell my friends about KB Homes.

Overall an excellent experience in the purchasing process with Edrick and with Kyle on the logistics side. Thanks both very much for making this process an excellent and seemless experience.

Working with KB was a great experience. From the Finance department, theSales Person and Builders every thing was done very personalized but at the same time professionalism was maintained. I would recommend KB builders to anyone looking to buy/ build a home. Even the follow up by warranty department was excellent.

We wore surprise how KB install products that we didn't order without our authorization such as toilets and stove. If we don't notice no buddy mentioned. At this time, we still wearing for KB to replace a cabinet that apparently was damage during installation not to mention how poor are the kitchen cabinets terminations. Plus, we close in February 28,2022 and as of today April 30, 2022, we also still wearing for toilets replacement, range replacement and gutters installation.

All staff were hlepful and answered all questions. Easy home buying precess. The weekly updates were helpful and seeing the progress of our home.

KB Homes is a great builder. My recommendation to other homebuyers it to ensure you understand all conditions of the contract before signing.

Do not fall for the so-called move-in ready homes. It could take more than 7 months to complete. It simply means the options are preselected and you can't make changes. Former sales rep was very arrogant and not providing updates. It took about 30 days for KB homes to sign their own part of the contract and another month to lay the foundation and this was only done after I contacted the area manager. Meanwhile the sales rep with whom I made the lot selection a couple of times sent me ongoing work in another property just to give impression that work had started and also knowing I was living two and a half hours away from the property location. So to get accurate information, I had to drive frequently to the site or send my realtor or the husband who is a colleague of mine. Just to buy time for anticipated mortgage rate increase, they completed the foundation and claimed they were waiting for blocks for another one month. After block work, it took another one month for the decking in the name of waiting for lumber. Consquently, closing was moved from December to January and finally to last week of February 2022. Had I not been on the neck of the underwriter to do their work, February closing may not have been possible. Worst of it all, the loan agent was very hesitant to reduce the loan amount after several reminders as though he wanted me to borrow more than I wanted, and this action of his as I learnt later, would have been more devastating had he not changed the loan amount just a couple of days before the final underwriting, meanwhile closing date was barely 4 days away. And at this time, I had exhausted my rate lock options, meaning I had to close on the stipulated date in February or borrow at higher interest rate should the closing be shifted because the loan processing had to be returned back for underwriting. The baffling part of the loan officer's action is that I had forwarded him the information on the available fund for closing. ! However, at the end, the area construction manager Tony, the construction manager Mike, and the lending manager Robert as well as Customer service manager Mark were very hepful and nice. Other than the backyard door screen that readily falls off (yet to be corrected), nails poking from beneath the rugs (now mostly fixed by KB), poor interior paint quality, a bit noisy and reverbaratory decking (guessing from not being padded well enough and the wood quality) beside other issues I detected during walk-through and later by a private inspector I hired (fixed), the home is pretty fair but a bit pricey for the square footage. So I do rate overall experience 3.5-4. Would have been lower going by my experience with the now gone sales rep with the loan officer. ... More
