Sales and Design Center were great! When it comes to building you need to be watching their every move. The construction supervisors try to watch everything but it's impossible. We had many issues but so far the warranty dept. has been on top of making things right. The company really need to work on making sure they produce a quality home the first time.

Slow on finishing up punch out list items

Materials are fine but they don’t check their work very well. Poor workmanship and I have to keep asking for updates on the fix because no one keeps up with anything.

Very disappointed for trust in their words.

Now that we have been here a few months, we are noticing an alarming number of issues. Windows are leaking when it rains, drywall inside is wet, soft and peeling from rain outside (i can literally put my finger through it), windows that wont lock, grout completely cracked open on the kitchen counter which is now allowing water from the leaking window into the cabinets which will ruin them and cause mold, kitchen cabinets not properly installed at the floor, broken patio light, AC did not pass some type of inspection, door handles through out the house all coming loose, water coming in from the bottom of the sliding glass door, not to mention all the cosmetic issues of paint and caulk all over the floors and light switches that we have had to scrape off (and still are), paint stains on the carpets, nails sticking out of cabinets, uneven paint on the walls….the list goes on. Not what you would expect from brand new construction. It is apparent that many corners were cut while building this house. We gave a long list of issues several weeks ago and have yet to be contacted to have them fixed. We are very dissatisfied with the quality if this house and are finding more issues every day. ... They rushed to get us in to meet their quota.

They push to get house closed before issues are resolved and state the warranty process will take care of it.

They set the expectations high based on all the things they say/share and provide for documentation of the process yet it didn’t seem like they actually followed through with it. I guess it could’ve been worse but definitely not as great craftsmanship executed in the building of the home as they sale nor are they consistent. Make sure you use a realtor to keep you in the best interest and not just be another “Lot”. Overall the experience was okay but at the end of it all we had to “clean” a brand new home to move into.

After 2 months I'm still waiting for fake stuff

Title says enough still waiting for a call back two months later.

Great construction materials but final repairs and logistics issues not resolved properly in time.

Bad experience with part of KB Home employes and quality of work

House stiill missing shower glass, heat not working at all, A/C not working properly, air ducts does not flow,cabinetry for kitchen and batroom have poor quality,they damage the upgraded appliances and floor. They have a slow response for warranty, and the problems not fixed.

Moving into a new house should be a wonderful experience. It's been a nightmare. I referred 2 people and now feel bad for them. I tell everyone I know to stay away. I still have issues after 2 months because KB hires the cheapest laborers amd then wonders why we as residents always call

This was my first home building and buying experience and I am slightly disappointed. I chose to go with KB home because they promised and strive for "great customer satisfaction" and portrayed their company as being highly attentive to their home owners. We love our home but there are many flaws. I would describe our home as "messy." When doing our walk throughs with the construction manager we pointed out specific things that were not right or that needed to be corrected and we were promised everything would be fixed and perfect before we moved in. Well that was not the case because there is a multitude of areas in our home that need to be fixed. Secondly, we were promised a 10 day follow up after move in and we did not receive any acknowledgement or "check in" until a month and a half after moving in. I have been living here for 2 months now and still have not had any of the problems in my home fixed or had any further follow up. The only good experience we had was in the studio. We had a great representative that walked us through each and every aspect. It is a very over whelming experience and she made it very easy. The only misleading part is picking out the exterior colors of the house. They give you a sheet with a few different swatches laid out and expect you to pick your house color from that. I would recommend having a physical picture of the house painted in each color scheme to help the buyer have a better idea of what their house will look like. The house has a defect that we reported several times and nobody from kb seems to care and doesnt wanted to come fix it.

We worked with a lot of people in the process of building our home. The office people we first met were great but only get you so far with questions and concerns. It was so difficult to get into our home and get things done and fixed because we felt forgotten and taken advantage of. I can’t imagine what other people in our new neighborhood are dealing with at this point. I will not be recommending KB to anyone nor will I ever plan to build with KB homes again.

Wouldn’t recommend using there financing, they gave me the run around completely and never were honest on where I was at with my loan. I ended up just using my financing instead and everything was done within 2 weeks.

Make sure you double check all information given to you. I was given incorrect information that cost me 15k.

We have been in the house for over 6 weeks and we are still waiting to get issues resolved. The fit and finish was really disappointing. The house was not cleaned when the movers showed up. All we got was empty promises.

Home delivery was delayed considerably. Two months after closing, there are still items pending to be closed such as shower enclosures.

I have lived in my house for 3 months now and I still have items that have not been fixed. Zero communication and the complaints that I have submitted have been tossed aside. They don’t care, they have their money and screw the consumer. Very disappointed in this company.

The time to build was too long for the size of the house. The quality of work is horrible. The neighborhood has a lot of self centered residents Wish I would have known. I would have looked elsewhere

We sign the contract September after 1 year almost ready to be closed, we was ask to closed even though we know the house is not complete because the sale person and construction was very nice to us and they need to submit the quota to corporateans also promise to finish the house in 30 day so we did a Favor by trusting but boy we are so wrong I moving in 2 month my house still not complete yet we have submit multiple warranty and have a construction supervisor know they alway come up with excuses and promise but never do anything. So disapointed and upset at the same time.
