Overall home buying experience was good. Future buyers should definitely get their own home inspection just to be sure all work was complicated to code.

My experience was so stress free and fluid from the very beginning. Carla our sales agent always managed to address our questions and concerns quickly and Robert the construction superintendent was always available for follow ups as well as Gus who finished up with the completion of our installations inside our home. Of course the highlight of my experience was the design studio appointment with Stephanie. She allowed my husband and myself to take our time choosing our upgrades and everything with ease. It was a phenomenal team and we are so pleased that after taking tours of all the builders we made the right choice with KB homes! We were the first couple to close with KB homes on February 26, 2026 in the Sandal Key community and look forward to forming new friendships and making lasting memories at the new up and coming lagoon! If you buy you HAVE TO KNOW that their HOA Management company of choice is the worse company I have ever dealt with. You are stuck with them and KB can’t help in any way. It currently takes over a month to make any additions to your yard and home, even if it is safety relevant. The HOA Management company is a disaster for KB Homes after sales experience.

The builders seem to have pressure to mass produce homes which then results in a product that is rushed at the last minute to close. The pre closing walkthrough date will get moved without notification to you so your PTO you requested will feel wasted. Your “10-day” walkthrough after closing will actually be a month and a half later and there will be at least another month that passes before those issues get corrected as well. The house seems to be good expect lots of headaches caused by a lack of communication throughout the process.

The push to close came near fiscal ens of year in Novemwber and KB threatened to take my deposit if I did not close on a house that was clearly not finished. This push brought to light that KB's messaging about delivering a "completed, clean home" is all lip service. It was a horrible purchasing experience. I have not moved into the house because of all of the stressed associated with the purchase. It still feel pressured, rushed and distasteful. Such a kill joy!

Pretty satisfied with the process. The construction managers are really good and attentive. Financials and tittle was very efficient.

I have a beautiful new home which I'm totally happy with and looking forward to enjoy living in. The home is great quality, great lot with super views, great price below what I had hoped for and a friendly neighborhood.

Just to summarize from the beginning, our loan officer for some reason switch to another loan officer, information wasn't input correctly had to redo paper. We didnt have confidence after that. Once the building started some concerns came up, which they handled it but just the workmanship was questionable, luckily I did research on what question to ask. And now there are still some unfinished things that said would be completed but nothing has been done and these are small things that was said to be done within the 10 day walk through and now its past the 30 day. It was pretty easy on picking out a style house I liked

We purchased a new home that was already planned, so didn't have the opportunity to visit the design center. However, the home was well planned and had a nice package of upgrades. Since moving in the team has been very responsive to any repairs needed. The sales team was responsive as well. Based on KB's reputation and current responses, I have peace of mind for the future.

Angelica helped me tremendously picking out which model house fits for me and my family. Mark and Joe are the construction managers they’re awesome and very helpful. Thanks guys!

The entire process was quite stressful as communication between the KB Home corporate office and the title company (First American Title) was terrible. They couldn’t coordinate the closing date and it kept changing. KB kept wanting to close on my new house without having me do a final walkthrough. Quite a poor experience.

The house was built way before we expected.

Robert addressed and handled any issues we had. Spent time going over the features and benefits of the house..

Good experience overall but I wish there was more communication on certain things. There is a slope in my backyard which Im not fond of. I wish the location of placement of the AC unit was communicated to me before hand. Some minor issues with workmanship that are taking a long time to get resolved. Other than that all was good

Horrible drywall finishing as you can see where seams are everywhere. Robert is a horrible project manager and missed many steps and requests on my home after discussing with him personally several times.

The layout of the home is wonderful. Wide open space. The finish carpentry was sub-standard but Robert was on top of it and had the problems resolved. I wish there were more options at the design center for light fixtures.

My experience building with KB Homes was wonderful. I would recommend them to anybody. The process was easy and efficient and overall very organized.

The home buying process and closing went smoothly, and the purchase was completed without any issues. During the final walk-through, several issues were identified that needed to be corrected. However, four months later, some of these issues still remain unresolved. We have been in contact with the KB Home VP representative and are expecting all pending items to be resolved within the next couple of weeks, as previously promised.
