Builder visit my house last month he say he come back next week and he never comeback for the repairing

Close to two months after closing and still getting things fixed. Getting YES to death and wanting issues resolved. I still cannot give a good review with things still needing repaired.

Quality is very bad. What they sell is very different to what they deliver. The only important thing for them was closing the sale no matter what. Quality the worst of all the builder I have purchased from including Lennar, GL Homes., Horton.

Had a great experience with Manny. I’m sales side of the process. Had a great experience with Mark the builder side of the process. They had both been very responsive during the build process of the home and after Closing.

This was the worst experience I've have with buying a home, closing pushed back 4 times after closing issues with plumbing.

It was a breeze with Manny, bill and the home studio team. Options and cost were clearly explained along with usage.

Our home buying experience was anything but great. While we are happy to own our own home, KB Homes and KBHS made the building experience terrible while costing my family over $10,000 out of pocket due to their inability to close despite issuing a legal demand letter threatening to take our home away and cancel our contract if we couldn’t close, their refusal to allow us to use our own title company as permitted in our purchase agreement, their employees’ lack of professionalism, and the entire organization’s poor communication (builders, closing coordinators, and KBHS are all on different pages). KBHS and closing coordinators care more about meeting quarterly goals than they do delivering finished homes. We cannot recommend KB Homes to anyone. I really liked the studio experience and being able to pick my finishes was one of the reasons I bought with KB homes. The price for what you get is very good and the upgrades didn’t cost an arm and a leg.

KB lending portion wasn't very good at all.....builder and construction of home and house itself were excellent. Enough said. I'm done with filling out surveys.

The house wasn't ready by the dates that I was told and the conditions that I received it were not the best.

This entire process has been a nightmare. The process started out great when Dave the manger was in control. Then the process took a down fall once he was removed. Things were being broken in the house, delays due to wrong forms being filled out wrong. The worst was moving in house there were things still not tixed, like the broken concrete in the front of the house side walk, broken windows, no locks on the screen patio door, and the master bedroom could not be use for 2 weeks after we moved in because it was just hanging from the ceiling. As a general builder, my KB Homes experience was good. Great salesmen. Very personable and knowledgeable. The experience was not the same after the closing. The lack of communication was the most frustrating part. With mw knowing how the work with contractors can be, it was exhausting trying to get things resolved because of the lack of follow-through. The only saving grace was the salesman (Jim) having to get involved to try and assist in coordinating things to be resolved. If it wasn't for him, I would give KB a zero!!!!!!!!!

I had major issues with KB since about half way through the home buying process. I was getting minimal updates and my initial time frame was pushed by months. Finally, at the end, my closing kept moving all around which made getting an appropriate private inspection difficult to do. KB stated it needed to be done a week before closing but when my inspector did come, so much still needed to be done and then closing got pushed. I mentioned from many months ahead that it could not be on a certain date as I would be out of the state, but still that's the time frame they had to do it to meet quarter numbers. Then as we get to that date, it needed to be pushed out once again. We get to walkthrough and while there is a vast improvement, so much still needed to get fixed. We'll, we decided to close anyways. Now, I'm finding things done so poorly that some bedroom doors can't even be closed properly, paint jobs are needed and even caulking near showers were incomplete. While I've had a great experience with the construction manager, he can only help so much while still working on getting other houses completed. Now, I'm trying to go through warranty for a water heater beeping that has been doing on for over a month and while I someone has gotten a hold of me, the person who would actually reach out (my community's representative) has not. So now we learned to live with the beep. Overall, these builders had so much potential to have a beautiful home without any issues if it wasn't so rushed and disorganized, but it's hard to be happy when I'm still dealing with so many issues. ... The entire process from initial purchase to final move was average. one major item in our kitchen that we were never told about and was not in the model is the exhaust fan above the microwave oven that just doesn't look right and takes away the consistence I the model had above the kitchen cabinet it appears like an after thought. After moving in we had issues with the bathroom vents in one case water entered the bathroom after it rained and in the other bathroom the ceiling started to form bubbles in both cases the galvanized vents were not installed on the roof tops. The builders team were responsive to our calls depending on the issue we were calling them about. My recommendation to any potential buyer is that all the work is being performed by subcontractors and not directly KB workers thus builders commitment is not as I would imagine or have seen with KB homes in California. If you are planning on buying a home from KB I recommend frequently visit to your new home as it is being built, take picture, report and document everything to the builder that your dissatisfied with. One more recommendation I have for KB leave extra paint with every new house you sell so that the owner can perform touchups to the wall, front door and so-forth. One more request please remove the outhouse that sits across my home, it is disappointing to see every morning I leave my home to go to work. ... More

Great value and continuous support

My husband and I recently purchased a move in ready home in Sanctuary Ridge. Prior to closing, we were told that our requests would be completed quickly. After being in our home now for almost two months, we still have incomplete work items and we cannot reliably get in contact with our representative. When we are able to contact the construction superintendent, he frequently dismisses, does not follow through, or won't provide timeframes for work completion. Mark; the superintended is amazing, always there for you

No one show up in the house for the 10 days walk nor the 30 days walk. I had a list of items that need to be completed the house drywall paint doors are damaged. Locks are not working properly bathroom problems and still no one showed up. I reach out to the construction manager. I left them a voicemail. I text them the information they get they send me the people that wrong. I still have problems in the house has not been fixed. I would highly recommend it. Anyone from future resident of KB Homes . Do not sign the closing until you have everything completed in the house to your satisfaction

In May of 2023, I booked a Model3016 home with KB Home in Seffner FL. Right from the initial phase I was constantly kept informed about each stage of the construction. During the end of the construction phase, the construction manager George was exceptional in his work and went up and beyond to help us close the house on time. Even after the closing the after sales service of KBHome is very good. I would definitely refer KB Home to my friends and associates.

I loved the overall experience. Starting with the sales department. Our sales person was amazing. We went to start the process of building our house and it just happened there was already a move in ready house and we fell in love with it. After that our paper work and finalizing the house it was so smooth. Everyone is so nice and understanding and helpful.

Going on 2 months now and none of the issues have been addressed or even made appointments. Doing business with KB is like going on a dating site. All nice and good at the beginning but once you discovered issues KB ghosts you. My sprinkler system is flooding, so I’m wondering if KB is going to replace my grass. Dishwasher and Stove need to be replaced. One of the bedrooms has a dead switch. Where my walls meet the ceiling are not even straight. I also had the carpets removed. While removing the carpet, nails and trash was discovered under the pad. Good thing I’ve had my tetanus shot. I would like to get these issues fixed asap so I can sell the home.
