The sales experience was good. During the build, some issues were brought up and were either VERY slow to address or never addressed at all. Clearly the sub-contractors rushed through their work to go on to the next job at the expense of sloppy, mediocre workmanship. Attention to detail is lacking. Communication was poor, to include nearly non-existent follow-up. Maybe this is all KB specific, or maybe it is industry wide with all the big builders. Either way, KB could do so much better by simply hiring a construction manager who was competent, organized, and communicates often and well.

This entire process has been a nightmare. The process started out great when Dave the manger was in control. Then the process took a down fall once he was removed. Things were being broken in the house, delays due to wrong forms being filled out wrong. The worst was moving in house there were things still not tixed, like the broken concrete in the front of the house side walk, broken windows, no locks on the screen patio door, and the master bedroom could not be use for 2 weeks after we moved in because it was just hanging from the ceiling. Several annoying issues such as wrong appliance installation, cracks in the driveway pavement, and hanging electrical wires that impede the closure of kitchen cabinet drawers.

Management at KB Homes were very unhelpful and inefficient. Problems still persist with home more than 3 months after closing and the company is slow and inefficient in their resolution.

Going on 2 months now and none of the issues have been addressed or even made appointments. Doing business with KB is like going on a dating site. All nice and good at the beginning but once you discovered issues KB ghosts you. My sprinkler system is flooding, so I’m wondering if KB is going to replace my grass. The build was late. 2 months after living in the house and we have NEVER had a working microwave. Issues have been outstanding since moving in, week after week we’re told ‘it will be done this week’ and nothing ever ends up happening. It makes it worse that these are minor issues that could all be done within an hour or 2. It’s annoying as it is a prime example that KB hire works with poor workmanship that obviously don’t take pride in their work, these items were obviously also overlooked by the management who should have picked it up.

WoW, the home build quality is as low as it can get. Exemplifies that the company is having severe trouble engaging skilled workers compared to its competitors. Every. corner of the house displays extremely poor workmanship (walls, ceilings, paint, baseboards, doors etc.). I am hoping that the framing, electrical work, plumbing is ok). Will only find out after some time elapses. The biggest culprit though is poor responsiveness to get the issues addressed by the construction operations. To slow building houses, that’s why people turn around and change their mind to buy a property. The finish touch of the properties are not professionally, such as back slight door not safe and get misplace every time is opening, worst outside water plumbing connection to the house, faucets, no compact flat terrain with the grass, ship materials to build up a house. Etc.

My husband and I recently purchased a move in ready home in Sanctuary Ridge. Prior to closing, we were told that our requests would be completed quickly. After being in our home now for almost two months, we still have incomplete work items and we cannot reliably get in contact with our representative. When we are able to contact the construction superintendent, he frequently dismisses, does not follow through, or won't provide timeframes for work completion. No one show up in the house for the 10 days walk nor the 30 days walk. I had a list of items that need to be completed the house drywall paint doors are damaged. Locks are not working properly bathroom problems and still no one showed up. I reach out to the construction manager. I left them a voicemail. I text them the information they get they send me the people that wrong. I still have problems in the house has not been fixed. I would highly recommend it. Anyone from future resident of KB Homes . Do not sign the closing until you have everything completed in the house to your satisfaction

Terrible experience. First home buyer been my dream to own a home and my dream was shattered. Multiple unresolved issues months since closing still till today. Very poor responsiveness from builders who is clearly overworked with too many houses. Will do my best to avoid kb homes in the future

Be Away from this Builder. The construction Quality is very worse. Many Issues with the home. They just avoid the home owner issues after closing. The construction manager is buying the feedback from the Existing home owners, with a small perks like Free Epoxy flooring, if we give 100% positive feedback on All sections.
