Overall process was well explained and the appropriate expectations were set throughout the process. Curtis (superintendent), Jennifer (realtor) and Sean (loan officer) we are all amazing to work with and they made my forever home a reality!

All the KB team members that I worked with have been awesome from beginning until the end… and even after turn over! They have been very patient with my inquiries and requests. They all definitely made my first home buying experience wonderful.

Not only did it take o year to build my home, the closing date moved twice. There have been numerous issues (they’ve been fixed) that were annoying. Ie: leak under driveway, gas line not hooked up to furnace, carbon monoxide leak due to hvac not being hooked up properly,…I could go on. Definitely wasn’t expecting these issues when spending over 400k.

Saul is an outstanding salesperson. Noland was responsive to my concerns. Sean was excellent with my laon. I was not able to make one of my most important structural options changes due to timing, but some design center changes were facilitated. Home was not finished when my walkthrough was scheduled, so I could not do final inspection personally. Overall, staff made the experience easy for me.

KB Homes = Quality workmanship

The homebuilding process was stressful as many new home buyers know. The loan process was the most stressful part. I felt like a lot of the documents we were giving were being lost and had to be redone a lot of the times. And the communication between the sales agent and loan officer was not well. I understand having to keep giving documents in order to continue the process for the loan, but to keep being told that documents were never received despite the email confirmation was frustrating. Jared, our sales agent was amazing. He kept us updated every week and met our needs whenever we needed. Jason, the superintendent of our home was also super helpful. My building supervisor, Nick is great. He has a great personality and is very patient. He listens to all my "concerns" and respond promptly. He even picks up his cell phone on weekend when I have a blown fuse in my kitchen and gave me advice. He had accommodate and assist me to change my initial walk through date when I had some oral surgery done in NY. I had a condo in NY LI area and my experience with KB home and Nick opens my eyes on how excellent builders respond to their customer after the sales. KB could write the text book on customer care. They truly earn their motto on "relationship building". I am impressed that a lot of employees purchase KB homes in the vicinity. This substantiate the quality of their work. An "insider" knows true quality. Overall my experience is extremely positive. It makes my 3000 miles move form LI to NV very worthwhile. I also want to mention Venessa who is my sales representative. From start to finish I’ve never had a more smooth experience as I’ve had with KB Home Durham West. Every step of the way my questions were addressed and taken care of. I’m glad I found KB Home Durham West to be my next home. My home is beautiful.

Time to correct warranty issues is excessive. Six weeks to have a missing medicine cabinet installed and front door adjusted so smart lock will work. Still waiting. Still waiting on replacement kitchen cabinet doors almost two months after closing. Repair of electrical outlet that was covered by sheetrock resulted in another two week wait to fix damaged sheetrock. Sheetrock and paint repairs have only met the minimum and do not really match original.

Needs improvement on the quality of finishings upon turnover making sure that everything is finished.Needs to update some options and designs for more modern customize look.Needs improvement on addressing issues un a tumely manner.

KB home price is ok, house building not that good, because my house a lot cracked , but Charlie take care good, very good service, he is very friendly and wonderful!

The quality and workmanship building my home was rushed. There were so many cosmetic issues that needed to be cured after move in. The garage door button on the wall was not working due to electrical wiring issues. The first floor bath shower wall had deep scratches, and the ceramic sink had Grey spots embedded in the sink which was a defect. First floor front entrance door, the fire door to garage, and the first floor bath door needed adjustments,. The kitchen cabinet doors had gaps needed adjustments, and they forgot to install the bottom Molding to the cabinets. Missing closet Door handle Plates, the strike plate on the laundry door casing issue, and the White cap on the 2nd floor bedroom Closer door stopper for the bedroom closet door above the garage. First floor window latch was loose, large drywall cracks in my kitchen ceiling, and master bedroom ceiling from the air vent. Bedroom and bathroom door finish Was painted over due to scratches, and golf size dips in the wall. The builder warranty rep was quick to schedule dates and increments for vendors to come out to the house to cure the issues. Overall it’s a good home, and they were very responsive to my issues. ...
