My experience with Fred and his construction manager Russel, is the only 100% positive feedback I can give anyone I have came into contact with for my KB house buying experience. They both answered all my concerns in a timely manner and followed through with any repairs that were needed. If it had not been for Russel and Fred my rating for responsiveness and trustworthiness would have been lower. Thanks both for leveling out my negative experiences with financial and some on the sales team.

It's the little things in life that matter most and the finish carpentry was extremely poor. Walls not plumb, messy grout lines, dings & nicks everywhere (interior & exterior). I also need to mention KBH's framing means & methods. KBH doesn't cover the whole exterior shell of their homes in plywood sheathing or board of any kind because their homes have been "engineered" and the sheathing is only needed in "certain locations" to meet the shear strength requirements. So KBH uses 25 to 50% less sheathing per home, saving them a ton of money but not necessarily the consumer. From a business standpoint I get it, but from a consumers standpoint KBH just seems cheap. Another small rub I had was the 24 inch on center framing (in lieu of 16" standard) for interior walls that aren't consider load barrier. On your walkthrough look over it with a fine-tooth comb there's always something that you miss

Very satisfied with the customer service. Excellent price of the home.

Overall, it was a good experience. The sales team was great and kept us up to date on the progress of the house. The superintendent was also very helpful. The pricing on additions were sometimes way over priced and we opted to do it ourselves or pay someone for a fraction of the price. Some items appear to be bottom of the line and wish they were a little nicer. Overall, a decent experience but would definitely do things different.

Good service and very attentive

The builders need to pay more attentions to the fine details. The use of some known brands seems attractive but not practical. double handle instead of single handle on faucets. Drain handle hide behind and set way too low for good looking but you need long and slender fingers to pull it up. missing screws etc. defects on the quartz counter top, punch thru brat nail tips at the base board almost cut my finger, toilet seat fastener cover automatic pop open due to engineering defects, hot and cold water outlet from wall to the pedestal can be seen while sitting at your toilet. we do not expect every single cement block be perfect but paying half a million dollar home, a few corner chipped cement block is not that expensive to pick a good looking one and safe the defective one for your home art works. front walkway bricks came off as you walk and step on it, near falling disaster on my mover. over all, KB has done an excellent job. Good customer service and professional

Bring your realtor or trusted friend with construction and design knowledge along with you during different phases, and walk thru's. Make a list of items that need clarification (buyer and sales staff), get some trusted outside opinions.

The home building process took way longer than originally anticipated. I believe this was due to supply issues. However, there were multiple KB home staff communicating with me throughout the process. Alex was responsive to my questions regarding the building timeline. He ensured that the design and decor that I requested was in place. The house looks amazing! Sean and Jennifer were proactive during the loan approval process and would answer any questions that I had. I appreciated the fact that they understood that I really wanted to become a homeowner and they helped make it happen!

Buying a house to kbh over all is ok.

Just make sure to be very attentive

Building experience was ok. Little attention to details with the finished product.

We appreciated the weekly updates.

It’s a nice area and the closing part was confusing because when we get our key the person does not know about it they worked hard to get the deadline. Overall it’s okay experience a lot of place to grow. And also hopefully the communication and responsiveness will get better.

It was a good experience.

Builders should not take advantage of the booming teal estate market. Take away from a year ago. Inferior materials or cheaper used. So noisy even with the energy efficient windows and insulation.

The cabinets and baseboards keep breaking :( but we really love the home and the community

Good experience in new home buying

Make sure your house is built the same as the model. When you at the design center don’t aloud them to rush you with your selections.

The plans to the homes built need some work. There were some quirk issues with aisle spacing in the kitchen.

Overall I’m really happy with my house. I did notice a week after moving in, the paint on the outside of the French doors was already chipping off. Seems Like they only used one coat. The KB sales rep opened a claim for me when I initially told her, but as of yet, I had not received a call.

We are really happy with our house.

KB is one of the best home builder in Las Vegas

I like my single story home very much. I bought the 1849 model. One issue I have is that I wish the company would build single story homes near each other instead of being sandwiched in between gigantic two story homes. Also the basic home too expensive to start out with since the buyer is absolutely compelled and finds it necessary to upgrade.
