Make sure to do lot of research and ask question when in doubt . KB home have a great staff to assist on every step of the way

I love my house and I love the whole KB experience! My wife and I bought our first home through KB Homes and we love it. Quality construction, trustworthy te, quick responsiveness to issues. The only thing I don't recommend doing is using their insurance company. Although it was a very great value, they sold our file to an offshoot insurance company that doesn't take any dogs with "terrier" in the name. Just inconvenient to have to find home insurance again. Other than that A+ ... Thank you!

Great experience buying first home

Tyler and Alan were extremely helpful on helping us with decisions and addressing any of our concerns or issues. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions some Correspondence took longer in part as some employees were working from home and some delays with construction. We are happy with our decision to purchase a KB Home.

House is beautiful. Response to fixing a few small issues has been very fast.

As a first time home buyer the experience was made very easy thanks to KB Home associates, from sales to the final walk through it was great experience. Highly recommended!

The quality of work is unsatisfactory. I have to hire my own inspector to inspect the work that they do. JD - the superintendent does not return phone calls on time or does not attend to your needs or questions. He told me that he is to update me once a week but never did. Sometimes he doesn’t even call you back. I have to get the help from my realtor or KB home realtor to get my questions answered. New superintendent took over at the end, who did my final walked through, his name is Mike. Mike has an excellent customer service. He listen to my needs and helps me at the end. My experience with Fred and his construction manager Russel, is the only 100% positive feedback I can give anyone I have came into contact with for my KB house buying experience. They both answered all my concerns in a timely manner and followed through with any repairs that were needed. If it had not been for Russel and Fred my rating for responsiveness and trustworthiness would have been lower. Thanks both for leveling out my negative experiences with financial and some on the sales team.

I have bought numerous homes and the entire KB team from purchasing, financing, insurance, and closing was top tier. I look forward to buying my next Las Vegas investment property from KB Homes.

My wife and I bought our house while living in San Diego. Our sales rep Amanda and contractor Ryan kept us up to date throughout the whole process which eased the stress with COVID happening as I was unable to leave San Diego.

Everyone from the Sales Agent at the time we came here to look, to signing the contract, to the experience at the design center, to the actual building and delivery of our home has been wonderful. We love love love our home, and KB has been very responsive to the few issues we had upon moving in. Small items like an outside light not working and a scratch on a window, BOTH taken care of quickly and perfectly!

All details explained before purchase and during the whole construction process. The sales team, which followed up with us through the whole construction process (Laura & Jeff) was professional and knowledgeable and gave us the feeling of care and continuity. We started the process unfortunately right before the pandemic and things out of KB’s control got chaotic but they pulled through and did everything they said they would do to made it a good experience.

The whole experience from beginning to the end was awesome and done precisely.

It was so smooth that I didn’t even feel the stress of buying a new home.

My wife and I found Aurora Heights about ten months ago as a developing community. The first impressions were very grand. The salesmen seemed nice and personable and we really liked the floorplans available. We put our deposit down fairly quickly and took a dive commited to buying our first home. We were assured that the home would be ready long before our lease ran out and that we would have no issued getting into our home. The first issue arose with the design studio. We were given a choice between two days. The salesman had them on speaker phone as we chose the day and he wrote it down at the same time that my wife wrote it in her own notes. I burned a day of leave and so did my wife so we could make the appointment. When we showed up we were turned away because the secretary that booked us apparently scheduled us for the wrong day. I wanted to walk away then but my wife talked me off the ledge. The second issues came up right at the beginning of the COVID shut down, only I wasn't aware quite yet. The salesman called me to inform me that the homes weren't going to be worked on for an unforseen duration. My wife and decided that this was the point where we should walk away. I called the salesman to tell him the news and he talked me off the ledge yet again, assuring me that he had just found out the homes were back to being worked on in full force. "Business as usual" was the term he used. My wife and I spend the next few weeks in apprehension as we visited the home each Sunday, noting no major progress being done after a certain point. Then about three weeks out from the scheduled walk, which had already been pushed back once, the salesman calls me to tell me the cabinet company was reopening finally. I was never informed that the suppliers were down. I was straight up lied to so that I would not walk away. We barely made it out of our apartment before the lease was up and had we not made it out, they would have raised our rent by 800 dollars a month as a sales tactic meant to force us into a new lease. The cabinets finally went in and we walked the house. The workmanship is subpar all around but I have conceded to the fact that it is due to me having rushed the project. There are in even lines and over spray from rushed paint jobs. Molding with inadequate caulking, parts of the molding in the bathroom was never even installed, a few of the cabinet doors didn't even match and the list goes on. All this explains why the builder was so addement that I don't bring an inspector with me for our final walk. I know multiple people searching for new builds, but I would never refer some one to use KB home. I know it's probably all mostly due to COVID19 but I am still a little salty. 2020 is a year where customer service in nearly every large company decided to take a nose dive and KB home was no exception to that theory. The home is overall nice, but I believe you could get a home just a nice with some one like DR Horton or Beezer and also have adequate treatment from the employees setting things up for you. ... I love my home. The location was the reason I purchased the home. I have been disappointed with repairs. Most are minor fixes yet are still not completed and I have been in my home for over 60 days. I am not pleased with the quality of my air conditioning in my home. It is suppose to energy friendly and well insulated. Which it is but at a cost of 2 bedrooms being hotter then the rest of the house. The air conditioning company telling me this is normal? They need to work on the function of the home. It looks pretty but it also needs to function. You need to put the toilet paper holder in spot you can reach. The gas line is at my bedroom window, who is going to grill in front of their bedroom window? No place for trash cans? You have to drag through a ton of stones and it is hard on feet/back. Paint indoors is flat, anything touches it and it leaves a mark. They offer a free touch-up but the guy never calls you back, so I gave up and did it myself. I am not that happy. ... More

Freddy the superintendent handle all my questions and concerns. During the final walk he made sure everything was perfect for me.

This is a beautiful community of townhomes and homes. Amber, in sales, and Eric, the super, are both very friendly and knowledgeable. I feel the design of the neighborhood, exterior and especially the interior of the home are well thought out. So many features and energy efficient too. I moved in over a month ago and I'm just as pleased today as I was the day I moved in. Definitely proud to own a KB Home.

Make sure your house is built the same as the model. When you at the design center don’t aloud them to rush you with your selections.
