The quality of work is unsatisfactory. I have to hire my own inspector to inspect the work that they do. JD - the superintendent does not return phone calls on time or does not attend to your needs or questions. He told me that he is to update me once a week but never did. Sometimes he doesn’t even call you back. I have to get the help from my realtor or KB home realtor to get my questions answered. I went with the one stop shopping with KB and thought that was a great idea and it was up until the end. The mortgage company stinks! They don’t communicate in anyway. I was very nervous with making my first mtg pyt, setting up their online payment and through the whole process they never communicated once. A good thing I kept checking the site then I had to email them to see something wasn’t set up right. I went through every other company (utility) and they were awesome, but not this mtg company. What a sad way to end what was a good experience.

Sales team were courteous, polite and responsive. Design Center was ok. Construction Superintendent was fair, at best. I was a cash buyer. No special interest rate, incentive or promotional allowance for me even though most buyers got something. I was promised an $8000 design center credit for paying cash but it was taken away less than 24 hours later because you guys had an overnight price increase and I switched from financing to cash the very next day after signing my purchase agreement. Few minor problems got fix but took time more than we expected. Couple major problems, some were already fixed, one looks like won't be able to get fixed. Construction next door leaves debris, splashes, etc. to our property.

The sales staff that I had was quite aggressive and pushy during the search and closing periods. There was a tile that was broken and was replaced with a different color. They were about to give me the house with a solo different colored tile in the master bathroom. The closing date was then pushed back as they had to redo the full master bathroom. There are still issues with the house that have not been fixed. Quality of work could be better.

some things were sloppy on the build, wall was not done very well , bricks not aligned some bricks chipped, light on the porch painted over , stucco splattered on the wall of the yard and some splattered on front of the house and painted over. water pressure not very good.

I feel the final product of the home was rushed. I felt there was definitely a push to close on the house and make the sale in order to meet 2022 goals for the company. Our superintendent did a first time walkthrough and the kitchen island was not yet completed the medicine cabinet was not installed in the guest bathroom. We’ve lived in the home for 2 months and have noticed drywall cracking on the ceiling, gray paint marks on the white walls. I just feel like the subcontractors and laborers were rushed to finish the job.

My wife and I found Aurora Heights about ten months ago as a developing community. The first impressions were very grand. The salesmen seemed nice and personable and we really liked the floorplans available. We put our deposit down fairly quickly and took a dive commited to buying our first home. We were assured that the home would be ready long before our lease ran out and that we would have no issued getting into our home. The first issue arose with the design studio. Have nothing but good things to say about KB Home sales staff! Helpful from beginning to end. That being said, it's been nothing but frustration getting things fixed and fixed correctly. Poor workmanship and no response are the main issues.

Quality of work is kind of substandard. Stucco paint fell off in my front of the house. Laundry door is not shutting properly and misalign. A few items that was not being install during the walkthrough I have to go back to my list contract to provide those item. Nails found in our backyard . carpet installation not install properly and some other issues not to mention. Noted that this is my 2nd KB home that I purchase probably my last one. In fairness Troy, Chad and Klay are very helpful and professional.

Did care for the loan process. Came into home three months left of building, As someone backed out of purchase. The lay out I have, I don’t care for. Not as functional as it should be. The work was rushed. Not worth the price I paid. In a situation I was in, I was ready just to have a home and I settled. KB could be better, my first home build from them was good. Not this time around. The maintenance supervisor, Glen, watching over the build process is great and helpful. That’s my only positive experience this time around.

My house was way to rushed. My garage door doesn’t work, my porch lights don’t work, my cabinet hasn’t been fixed yet, and the painting on the house was pretty bad. Just wish my house wasn’t rushed i should have to many problems moving into a brand new house. Also no one answers the phone when i need things fixed

I never got contacted for either 10 day paint touch up or 30 day home follow up. I have many issues that have not been dealt with and they know about.

Have outside paint issues, master bath caulking issues and master shower drain issues. I have advised project manager about flooring issues and was suppose to get back. Nothing. Advised about sliding glass door frame caulking issue. I had an electrical issue where multiple wires were bare in box and it was repaired with just applying electrical tape. Not acceptable. I recently moved to vegas and was able to see the build on a regular basis. I identified way too many issues during the build that would have been detrimental if waited until after the final walk through. For starters, I paid to have the entire house insulated, all interior walls also. We had a wind storm one weekend after the insulation was in place causing it to blow out and all over the house as well as outside. Jeffrey the Sales person was very friendly, professional and communicative when addressing any questions in regards to the sale. Lived in my house less than 45 days and multiple things have broken, my garage wouldn’t work and then my washing machine broke. Brand new washing machine and trying to figure out who to contact and if it was under warranty or if I’m responsible to cover costs was frustrating. Everyone was pointing fingers at each other. I love my house but I feel like as a new build less than 60 days living in it I shouldn’t be having these many problems already.
