Have outside paint issues, master bath caulking issues and master shower drain issues. I have advised project manager about flooring issues and was suppose to get back. Nothing. Advised about sliding glass door frame caulking issue. I had an electrical issue where multiple wires were bare in box and it was repaired with just applying electrical tape. Not acceptable. Entry door is damaged and got painted over and other doors in house have same issues. I was suppose to get a complimentary water filtration system at kitchen sink. Company came out over a month ago and said they would contact me and nothing yet. So I'm not happy at all. ... More

I went with the one stop shopping with KB and thought that was a great idea and it was up until the end. The mortgage company stinks! They don’t communicate in anyway. I was very nervous with making my first mtg pyt, setting up their online payment and through the whole process they never communicated once. A good thing I kept checking the site then I had to email them to see something wasn’t set up right. I went through every other company (utility) and they were awesome, but not this mtg company. What a sad way to end what was a good experience.

I had nothing but pleasant experiences with everyone who works with Kb. They made this home buying experience very easy and stress free .

Management will never respond to your concerns. It all about making the sell. Please make sure you get everything in writing.

KB Home was very helpful throughout the whole process always keeping in touch with you weekly. They help out as much as they can with the house process. Home was built up to code and done neatly. Being a Carpenter myself had no complaints from me throughout building process. Would recommend 100%

This is my first home that I have ever purchased, and I love it! It’s perfect my family of three. However, process to buy the house was long and arduous which can be a turnoff for first time buyers, though if not for the amazing staff of KB homes then I would have lost hope entirely.

This process for new homebuyers can be overwhelming. There's so much information I needed to know & it was hard to keep track of everything. Mike, in the sales office, was amazing at giving me up-to-date information on the progress of my home build in this 7-month process. The design studio was a fun, but exhausting, day of so many options & features, my head was swimming by the end of the day. But the design studio team was wonderful in guiding me through the details. Beyond expectations

The owner has been informed weekly about the new house building period with pictures. The house was builded well and under 6 months.

Kb was very accommodating and easy to work with. Also, very responsive to requests and questions.

Jeff from the sales office was very friendly and quick to respond to our needs. There were several things that had to be cleaned up after our walkthrough that seemed to be ignored but we were reassured by the superintendent that 1 year home warranty will cover it.

The guides are very clear. People are very nice

It's the little things in life that matter most and the finish carpentry was extremely poor. Walls not plumb, messy grout lines, dings & nicks everywhere (interior & exterior). I also need to mention KBH's framing means & methods. KBH doesn't cover the whole exterior shell of their homes in plywood sheathing or board of any kind because their homes have been "engineered" and the sheathing is only needed in "certain locations" to meet the shear strength requirements. So KBH uses 25 to 50% less sheathing per home, saving them a ton of money but not necessarily the consumer. From a business standpoint I get it, but from a consumers standpoint KBH just seems cheap. Another small rub I had was the 24 inch on center framing (in lieu of 16" standard) for interior walls that aren't consider load barrier. This is our dream house, brand new!!!! and We are completely satisfied and happy. The team of KB home had helped a lot in making it hassle free, from the upgrade office, Phyllis is so patient. Even in my last minute change of mind she made it possible. Then come to the walk thru with Paul, amazing guy that truly understands the homeowners expectations and his commitment in achieving our satisfaction. He never fails us. Now with our small issues in the house, right away after contacting customer service, Robert showed up the following day and now its set up to be fix tomorrow. i never thought it would be that fast......So we are satisfied and have no regrets that we chose KB home and this community. ...
