The home buying experience from the salesperson, the construction lead, to the bank applications was excellent. Quality of the lumber is a one out of 10. Now that the house is complete with sheet rock and painted, flooring laid and now settling. The cracks are showing up here and there..The placement of all the plants and trees is crap. For the amount that you pay for a house nowadays you could at least get choice and placement of all garden items. But you don't that would prevent me from buying from this organization ever again. Too many faults after the fact.

I had a rewarding home-buying experience. Amanda and Lee assisted me throughout the whole home-building process. I am a new home buyer and had no clue what was in store for me. I am grateful to KB for their help and for allowing me to ask so many questions. They are a knowledgeable company and are focused on the quality of their work and ease of the home buyer throughout the process. They assist the homebuyer based on their level of experience in this business. I am happy and content.

From the minute i entered the model home to the day my home closed i had the upmost customer service in all areas of the home buying process from the sales rep, to the mortgage lender, and thru the building process..thanks KB for my lovely home and great experience!

With any new purchase or new build home there will be things that will come up, but overall, we had a pleasant experience. And were able to talk to through any challenges and work towards resolution.

After shopping around all the builder KB Home is very reasonable price and affordable. And is good choice for dream home.

My five star rating across board is because I feel the sales staff Steve and Linda were very attentive. The superintendents Jason and John worked to fix and answer all problems brought to them quickly fixed any concern. I feel the KB policy of not selling to a trust was very disappointing and caused a unnecessary extra expense for buyer. Being a retired union bricklayer, I feel the lightweight stone on many of the houses including our house has be laid with only speed concerns and NO general rules of joint placement followed. Everything from the model home tour, the design studio, and the final walk through eased our homebuying experience.

Our builder Aron was very informative. Aron kept us informed of the building process. At of all the staff we interacted with the KB Family, Aron was the most responsive. We communicated so much that he almost felt like family. He will be missed.

Trustworthy and friendly, overall good experience

I really appreciated all the emails in the building process. Workmanship/Materials: I wish somethings would have been said about the time not being sealed prior to move in. I wish it was also said (if it is said then emphasized more) that the paint will be a matte as well. Both the sealing and the paint should at least be things that people can choose to upgrade through KB. I know everything can't be perfect but I do feel that the painting could have been done better (lots of little dots on my time). Also anything that I asked to be touched up was done, however now it is just as obvious. Trustworthiness: I also feel that it should be explained that if you don't have a realtor to represent you, then KB is just representing themselves which with any company that is not what is best for the customer. Obviously this would take money away from them so it won't happen with any builder. I had a lot of confusion when dealing with KB financial and feel they were talking around my questions to halfway answer so the outcome was best for them. Value I gave 4 because they are very expensive houses. I understand that is the going rate but I feel the sale price is nowhere close to the actual cost to build it. I feel KB definitely does not use the best products (paint company they use says that they water down the cheapest paint that they buy from them). This might be standard with all builders but does not make it "Great" quality. Responsiveness: Great responses prior and once purchased. I haven't really had an issue except for sealing time and paint quality which I had an outside company do. I hope i continue to get great responsive after this review is complete as well. ... More

everyone was very helpful and from the start, and Stright through to the end and even after the sell they still check up on you. you could call at any time, and they would even call you back. And answer your questions even the dumb ones. You got more information at each step so you could understand everything.

From the moment we signed our contract to the time we got the keys in our hands, D'Ann was responsive and helpful with questions we had throughout the process. We loved that she provided weekly updates toward the end of the project. We appreciate every one of these efforts! The best part is that she did this with such a heartwarming contagious laugh and smile. Ruben was our SUP throughout our build; our interactions with him were near the end of our new build. He was patient as we walked through our NOO - New Owner Orientation. He was helpful, he understood as a homeowner what we were going through. He took the time to provide any clarities and address concerns that we had. As someone representing KB Homes, he was not shortcomings nor rushed us and put our concerns aside. We have heard horror stories about other SUPs and are so thankful we had Ruben. Jason was our saint. We had an issue with our sink caused by a third party a week after we moved in. We elevated it, and Jason took immediate action to address it. I can't express enough our gratitude and appreciation for this grand effort. This is our first experience with KB Homes. D'Ann, Ruben, and Jason have set the bar high with their exceptional customer service, which I think would be hard-pressed for another builder team to follow. The builders need to pay more attentions to the fine details. The use of some known brands seems attractive but not practical. double handle instead of single handle on faucets. Drain handle hide behind and set way too low for good looking but you need long and slender fingers to pull it up. missing screws etc. defects on the quartz counter top, punch thru brat nail tips at the base board almost cut my finger, toilet seat fastener cover automatic pop open due to engineering defects, hot and cold water outlet from wall to the pedestal can be seen while sitting at your toilet. we do not expect every single cement block be perfect but paying half a million dollar home, a few corner chipped cement block is not that expensive to pick a good looking one and safe the defective one for your home art works. front walkway bricks came off as you walk and step on it, near falling disaster on my mover. over all, KB has done an excellent job. Builders need to pay more attentions to detail, fine details; that is what I call workmanship or craftmanship. Top brand names may not mean top quality craftmanship. Enjoy. ... More

My home buying experience at KB was top notch. The staff here treat you like family !! Laura in the sales office was awesome and so was Jason the superintendent here at Magnolia ranch. I highly recommend buying a KB home!!

Few minor problems got fix but took time more than we expected. Couple major problems, some were already fixed, one looks like won't be able to get fixed. Construction next door leaves debris, splashes, etc. to our property.

They were my main contacts throughout the entire process and I could not be more pleased and grateful for their knowledge and professionalism.

The whole KB team from the agent to the loan officer were great to work with! We would absolutely build with them again!

I love my home. I wish there were more focus put on ensuring the quality of workmanship from start to finish and the presentation and cleanliness. Other than that, everyone was attentive and helpful to my concerns during the build process. I suggest improving customer service response time during the 30-90 days after move-in as this a critical time for the homeowners as they discover their new home and much of the information provided to them initially were more likely lost or forgotten. Understanding this and being available to homeowners is key to building trust and getting the five star rating. ... More
