It was seamless, start to finish

I love my new home. It has a thoughtful design and is well made. I am very happy here. Every staff member along the way was helpful, knowledgeable, and kind!

The sales person (*****), the construction supervisor (Ian) and the design studio manager (Amy) were all knowledgeable, professional individuals who were most helpful in every aspect. However, I have been underwhelmed by the lack of responsiveness from the low voltage people. I purchased two camera prewire that were installed, but the people that I was asked to contact for cameras have been totally non-responsive, even after several attempts to reach them.

From go KB Homes was off to a great start. The logo and general signage colors are very close to that of my favorite ***** team, The *****. Minor but, well, I thought that was pretty cool... it's a 'Burgh thing! I was impressed with how clean and professional the overall community felt. My initial meeting was with a very friendly\ likeable salesman, *****. I appreciated his overall general low pressure demeanor. He was very thorough with the information shared on the homes while at the same time providing me with plenty of space to ask questions, comment, and move about at my own pace. By the end of our initial meeting I was sold... I selected a home and went under contract. The build quality, interior layouts\designs, location, and community felt like a comfortable perfect fit. All of the aforementioned along with Stephen\KB accommodating my time sensitive purchase and move-in needs was huge in my rapid purchase decision. *****, KB homes financial representative, reached out soon after I went under contract. ***** was very informative, always quick to respond to my many questions either by email or phone call. He was very helpful every step of the purchase way. *****, KB Home's Build Manager, was incredibly detail oriented. His new home orientation covered every item imaginable regarding my new home, delivering the vast amount of information efficiently. I quickly got the sense that ***** has a great deal of experience given he front loaded answers to my questions... I didn't even need to refer to my prepared notes\ questions! *****'s team quickly addressed the items on my home inspection... all before the tight close\ move-in deadline. Additionally, ***** and his team quickly addressed the items I had listed for our 30 day live-in sync. It is worth mentioning that I appreciate KB Home's staff accommodating my "change of home" request. A couple of weeks after selecting my initial home choice I inquired about pivoting to a different larger new home. ***** and the entire KB Home's staff essentially re-did showing me new home options within the same community that better fit my needs. I quickly found the perfect home. KB Home's staff went above and beyond my initial home buying expectations, their friendly\smooth\professional willingness to pivot home selections exceeded these expectations. A month into my KB Homes ownership and I couldn't be happier with the staff, my home, and the community. Every day I stumble upon new shopping, restaurant, entertainment, and similar conveniently located experiences. I previously purchased 2 new builds from various builders. Home buying experience with KB Team was great, all deliveries made as promised. The KB Team kept continuously in contact through out whole purchase process, responding to all inquires. Home quality layout beautiful. Highly recommend.

We all know that buying a new home is a stress-filled process. You are investing a lot of money into a new home and possibly offloading your previous home. Our experience with KB Homes was very pleasant. There are several phases you will go through to get into your new KB Home. They are 1) the selling process of the home and property, 2) the sale of features inside the home - Design Studio, security, and electrical; 3) the actual building process, and lastly 4) the loan process. All four of these phases went smoothly, and I was very pleased when we closed on our new home and stepped foot inside the first time. Once inside the home, and you find everything is as you expected, you breathe a sigh of relief. However, this is the beginning of a fifth phase with KB Homes: 5) follow-up. A lot of businesses, once the sale is made and the product delivered, will walk away, and you now own your new product. Finding a representative willing to help you can be difficult. Be assured this is not the case with KB Homes. Anytime I have a question, I can reach out to my sales team and ask for guidance; the construction manager is very receptive to issues and follows up quickly. KB Homes builds their processes to include a high degree of ethics. They will not leave you stranded with a question or issue during the building process and will work hard to resolve it. The "follow-up" is probably equally as important as the other three phases combined. It's good to know you made a good choice in the builder of your new home. A huge shout-out to the team that played and still plays a huge role in our new home experience. Ray and Kyle (Sales), Dixie (Home Studio), Jenny (Loan Process), and Tucker (Construction Manager). All these individuals bring a high degree of trust and moral character to the "home buying" process, which is so appreciated. I have had issues with KB homes every steps of the home buying process. From the sales agent ignoring us after signing, To the builder not showing up to a meeting he scheduled, and the morgage rep lying about the change in morgage rate, and purposely excluding my realtor from all communication with them, changing the closing date without my input, and in the last week before closing they changed the paperwork and shorted me multiple thousands of dollars of promised credits and lastly they have failed to pay for the home insurance (that is through kb homes) that i pay for with my morgage (which is also through KB homes) to keep my home (made my KB homes) and the home insurance is needed to keep my morgage. Throughout all of this KB homes has addressed these problems and have often fixed them and given discounts or benefits after screwing up or being caught trying to cheat you. At the end of the day you will probably get a good deal, if you go through them but I have serious trust issues any time they start to make a promise. ... More

We recently purchased a new townhome from KB Homes and have been very pleased with the entire experience. The community itself is beautifully and thoughtfully laid out, with an attractive design that gives the neighborhood a welcoming and comfortable feel. The placement of the townhomes, green spaces, and overall flow of the community make it feel both spacious and connected. The team at KB Homes was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Everyone we worked with was professional, responsive, and willing to answer questions and guide us every step of the way. Their customer service made what can often be a stressful experience much smoother and more enjoyable. We are also very happy with the amenities and features included in the townhouse. The floor plan is functional and modern, with well-designed living spaces, finishes, and thoughtful details throughout the home. Having a great experience with KB homes

Great home for the price. KB personnel have been very accommodating throughout the entire process.

Everything up to closing was very informative. The timeline to conduct inspections and final walkthrough was tight, which felt rushed by KB. Issues after closing has been disappointing, especially with HVAC.

This was our first time getting a house built. But the building experience wasn't as stressful. Luis made things very easy. Communication was great between each other. When we had issues he was on top of them. Even in the closing inspection he found things that we didnt see. He also explained how to work everything well. Hats off to Jimmy as well when it came to working with our agent he made sure he got us the information and paperwork we needed.

Over all everything was great. Ian and Marshall was really helpful and patient. Thanks them 2 for helping me and make the process went smoothly.

KB Homes has been excellent at every step of the process. Every single person I've gotten the pleasure of working with has been a complete joy!

This was the easiest home purchase decision I've gone through. From the contract with Drake to the construction process with Ian, everything was clearly communicated and done as promised. I only wish the price were lower, but that is the market. Given the quality of workmanship and the market we face today, I am very pleased at the price point. We are very happy in our new house.

6 pages of 30-day items because there was a water leak on DAY 1 that led to a continuous cycle of contractors damaging my property. I went through the list I sent to Chris (my superintendent) and checked on what was done today. Today was supposed to be the day they took care of most of the 30-day walk through items. You may be surprised that it’s 6 pages long. Frankly though, the majority of it is damage that has not been repaired after the water leak happened on my first day after closing. The contractors who came in to fix the water leak, repair tile, dry out the walls, and other stuff ended up making the problem bigger. Today after the 30-day walk through items were supposed to be addressed, I found a bunch of new issues that were not there before. * Under the mirror in downstairs bathroom is a chunk of putty on the wall. This wasn’t there before. Not sure why it was put there. * There is paint all over the garage door doorknob on the inside. * There are scratches in the garage that weren’t there before. * I came home to a sink full of what appears to be facial hair in the master bathroom sink. I’m hoping my shaver and razor that are sitting on the counter were not used by someone. * There is paint/putty dust on the kitchen countertops and master bathroom counter. * The master bathroom toilet seat is also damaged now. One of the cushions/legs on the seat is broken off. It was sitting in the water when I returned home. It also looks like some of the tiles in the master bathroom were scratched by something metal. Aside from all that wonderful stuff, it’s been almost 60 days since closing and my house is in a state that I would never had agreed to close on if I had seen it like this. In fact, for the first 2-3 weeks after closing, I couldn’t use the entire home due to the garage, second full bathroom, and second bedroom having fans running 24/7. I’d appreciate a speedy response as it’s frustrating to live in a home that is constantly under repair with each repairman causing more damage. Chris and Kelly have been unhelpful in a lot of cases and both ignored the problems I sent to them today. I will say that it is suspicious that they scheduled this on Friday. Both have ignored my calls and texts. Kelly sent a reply and told me to wait until Monday . This is frustrating considering the amount of new problems created today and that it was their choice to pick Friday. Overall, I thought I wouldn’t have a KB horror story, I was wrong.
