For the most part it was a pleasant experience. The days leading up to closing were incredibly stressful, though. It seemed as though there was no communicaiton between KB homes, KB home loans, the lawyer's office, and my realtor/myself. No one was on the same page, the loan office was unhelpful and condesending, my house wasn't completed/cleaned before closing. And it was just overall an incredibly stressful experience.

Overall I've been happy with buying the house and the service!

We purchased this KB home very recently and living in it for around two months now. Build quality looks good to us, outer wall including window panels are of solid quality. Great insulation ! Good quality flooring. Builder was also very responsive and took care of all the issues (mostly minor) that we faced once we moved in. Although we expected few things could be much better such as kitchen counter top which seems to be cheap builder grade quality. Also, kitchen appliances like dishwasher, oven (range) etc- they were very basic and builder grade quality. I think apart from these we liked everything in the house. ... More

Everything was very well done as of closing. KB then discovered that a leak had been created in a pipe when a subcontractor installed insulation in a wall. KB very quickly addressed the problem, dried the affected area, and replaced some molding, drywall and a bit of carpeting. After a through clean up, KB even compensated us for the time and bother by installing an additional option. I believe how a company and its staff respond to a problem is usually the most important measure of its quality and commitment to its customers.
