All I have to say that during my journey with this project I was surrounded by a great Team that made the process so easy while I was abroad to the point that my house is completed and they are still helping me with any questions.

I have a long thread of email responses back and forth with the construcmanager, not superintendents, in which I continually pointed out incorrect building of my home. Several issues were sloughed off only to be issues to delay closings. Items pointed out by my private insepcthave yet to be resolved and were pointed out 3 months ago, beforethe first scheduled cloing which the builder missed. The KB lender tried to swindle me out of $17k categorized as points when I received quotes from 2 other lender for zero points and lower interest rates quoted by the KB loan officer. The journey with KB has been a disappointing struggle which started one year ago and still continues to get post walk through items and pre-walk through items resolved to my satisfaction. Buying a new home that is brand new, was a great experience. We had the opportunity to upgrade a few options, the builders were generous in delivering a few of those wants. overall, very pleased and will definitely let others know.

It was wonderful working with Marshall on our new home purchase. Ian was very good in going through the warranty process and taking care of any issues promptly.

KB Home staff support us all the way of our Home acquisition. The Loan department oriented us to get the credit pre-approval that was the beginning of this dream, then the sells and design staff help us to find the best options that fits our budget, and the superintend was so kind when we had any question regarding the construction process. And now we are enjoying our beautiful home.

We love the house and feel in love with the town. Everyone is so helpful and it’s been so easy to work with. We feel this has been the best move.

Superintendent, Ian, no question the very BEST in class. Home studio consultant, Dixie - FANTASTIC. Home sales reps: Marshall and Jan B, top notch as well. Stay on top of the KB Loan team amd question everything they do and keep all your correspondence with them...watch out for duplicate requests

Construction manager was great throughout the entire process

To start the sales person was thro thorough and listened to what we wanted in a new home. The project manager was reliable and quick to respond to any concerns we had. Also I received a call from the manager and salesperson every week to let me know how everything was coming along. I would totally recommend a KB home to anyone wanting to buy a new home.

Terry was very good in explaining everything during the entire process of our house being built and made sure the house had no issues before we moved in.

I was quite disappointed when I was told that I was not going to get any help from KB Homes with the possibility of having a rodent in an interior wall of my new home. Obviously the home was not properly sealed when being constructed to allow rodents to be able to get into the framing and drywall

After 2 outside services calls for the fridge, onsite construction, doing everything they could, replaced it but it’s still just the standard fridge, kind of cheap with an annoying hum. One of the 3rd party service techs explained, they don’t make em like they used to!

Daniel was very helpful and responded to my questions and inquiries.

Terry has been very responsive to our requests for assistance and has answered all our questions adequately.

Buyer beware…Do not buy a KB Home. They are kings of bait and switch tactics. The property was a mess. The house was filthy as if someone already lived in our brand new home. Plumbing issues and scratched windows from day one. Dealing with KB’s customer service has been worthless and I am pretty sure everyone in my neighborhood feels the same way!

Jimmy, Josh, Mary Ann and Curtis were fabulous to work with. They were professional, kind, caring and wanted us to be completely satisfied in all aspects of the home buying experience. Kudos to KB, we are excited and love our new home!

From day one with Tim, thru multiple meetings with Eric, who assisted us beyond anything we could have asked for to Terry with the build and meetings, we couldn't have asked for anything better!

Our experience has been a nightmare. There is not enough room in this space to properly explain all of the problems we've incurred. Pushing sales people, uncooperative staff, mismanaged build, delays, delays, delays, inspections not passed, poor trades work, very poor and upon moving in after two months work still needs to be completed. Newest development is finding possible mold in our attic and having to WAIT for the warranty department to get back with us. In the meantime, we are living in a house that may or may not be safe to live in. I will guarantee you that no one at KB Homes lives in one of the houses they've built because they make enough money to buy something with quality and good workmanship. KB Homes has sent me 10 emails asking me to complete this survey and also numerous texts asking the same. Feels a bit like harassment. KB Homes wants us to have patience and understanding while we wait for their warranty department to get back with us. That is long gone now. This review is more of a warning to those considering buying a home from KB Homes....RUN!!! ... More

We have several ongoing issues in addition to the many, some resolved, experienced. In no particular order: 1) We purchased two ceiling fan presides that were suppose to work off of two wall switches. However, only one switch works and the other is dead (times two). KB electrician blamed us for getting a ceiling fan that he said was not compatible with two switches. That is nonsense as ALL ceiling fans come wired liked the ones we bought. So we paid for something that doesn’t function. 2) We were told that the homes on either side of us and the three behind us would not have the same color scheme. The house directly behind us is identical in color to ours and the one next to that is very similar in color to ours. Not happy with the talk and no enforcement. And it looks stupid with two homes exactly the same color next to each other. Very upset. 3) The sod on the right side of the house as you look at it didn’t take and is dead and looks bad 1 1/2 months in. No effort was made to initially lay the sod on flat ground as the lumps in the sod are everywhere. You should roll over the sod to flatten it and the ground at the time of installation. 4) It has been 1 1/2 months and the coating is coming off the black cabinet handles and you can see silver. That coating is so thin and cheap. 5) The cement has cracked on the sidewalk already. 6) The interior primary bathroom door is difficult to close as it is not aligned properly. 7) The primary bathroom shower drip pan is not centered on the plumbing opening and you can feel the screws from the protective plate with your feet because they are screwed in to nothing. 8) The area to put the modem and router is so incredibly inconvenient. The devices do not fit in the opening and closing the door is difficult. 9) There are chips and holes in many places in the foundation thinset covering. Bugs, moisture, etc., can easily penetrate and get into the foundation. 10) The floor appears to be unlevel in spots as we are finding that we have to adjust chair and furniture legs that we did not have to do in our prior house. Quite frankly, I have another ten issues at least but am tired of typing. And I haven’t mentioned the bad attitude our first builder, Terry, had that really spoiled this whole experience. Had an amazing home buying experience with the entire KB crew. From the sale, to builders to financial folks, everyone was amazing and would absolutely recommend!

Everything has been great so far however we’ve been promised a pool by Memorial Day which takes 8 months start to finish. Upon buying around July for closing in August they were suppose to be breaking ground. Nothing had been even remotely close to breaking ground and we’ve been provided no update in site or no transparency about it. The pool community was a huge drive for why we chose this development with three children.

Hard to rank value. There are many things we love about the home but they all came at a price. Construction seems to be solid. Appliances were not installed well. Some big issues going on now with infrastructure in the neighborhood which is unnerving. We will see how it all works out.
