The garage is way to small and not smartly designed to maximize space

We purchased a KB home recently and enjoyed the care, guidance, and timely communications from the sales office and the design studio. The KB homes design studio expert Curtis guided us through the design selection process and was always attentive to our needs. During the build process, KB homes' sales agent Katrina, construction management Sean, and construction supervisor Michael did their best to help resolve interior build issues so we could close on the home as soon as possible despite labor and material shortages. Katrina's sincere care for us and her involvement in ensuring we get the house we are delighted with. I am very thankful to construction supervisors Michael and Bashar for working diligently to address all my concerns and trying to fix issues even after the home closing. Terry has been very responsive to our requests for assistance and has answered all our questions adequately.

There is always room for improvement, and these aren't high end townhomes. That said, the few issues addressed to the building team were quickly responded to and remedied ( albeit they should not have been there to begin with). Home value, at time of purchase, seems in line with market conditions and the entire build time seems appropriate. Overall, a much better home buy/build experience than anticipated and would recommend at this price point.

Things went well overall - spec home didn't play a big part in the building process.

We had some problems with our appraisal being appraised a lot lower than homes with the exact 1582 floor plan in our Timberleaf neighborhood.

It was a good experience as a first time home buyer. We feel happy to have a home by the end of 2021. The model we chose is one of the best in KB and my family and friends liked it so far. I was happy with the sales and construction superintendents they listened and are open to accept our requests. The market was crazy during last couple of years. KB delivered our home beyond their commitment which caused our interest rate to jump at an unbearable monthly payment and made us to live on month-month and the cost twice the normal rent for few months. A great homebuying experience overall

All individuals that I dealt with during the construction of my new KB Home were very responsive and professional. At no point during the house build did I feel that I didn't know what the status was. Our forcasted move in date was met with no delays. I was able to select the fixtures for my house from the design studio, but was disappointed in the selections available, I would have preferred some higher end fixtures. I ended up having to replace lights, shelving, etc immediately after moving in since I wanted higher quality fixtures. The workmanship and quality of the painting was sub-par with paint splattered on many places on the windows, floor and carpeting. The paint issues were caused by a lack of attention to detail and not using masking tape/drop cloths etc. All in all, I got a bit more than I expected from my KB home and am quite satisfied with the outcome. ... Buying a new home that is brand new, was a great experience. We had the opportunity to upgrade a few options, the builders were generous in delivering a few of those wants. overall, very pleased and will definitely let others know.

The beginning stages of the process were fine. The building process was a nightmare due mainly to well issues. We love our home though!

We had an excellent experience with sales and project management. Tim our sales rep was professional, easy to work with, responsive and got us into a great lot and house in the timeline we needed. Very knowledgeable. Our project manager Kaisee was a pleasure to work with him. He explained the process and timeline. He sent us weekly pictures and updates. We are very happy with the community and its features. We love our new home.

All I ever read about is negative new build experiences. We had a few hiccups along the way, but I feel KB did everything they could to resolve them. So far we are pleased with our purchase.

The attention to detail could be better for the price of the home. Paint is dripped over tubs, light switches, cover plates, etc.

I wish KB homes was more flexible and agreeable to minor design changes.

Satisfied about most things except lawn. There are some damages of my backyard lawn next to the lot under construction.

The sales team and design studio were wonderful to deal with. The construction team/superintendent, as well as the warranty team have been less than ideal to work with. The communication from both of those teams is lacking, and we have a hard time gettina a response from either of them. We've submitted warranty claims and claims regrding non-disclosed active wells on our property, and for several weeks, nobody has done anything about it.

Overall I am satisfied with KB Home purchasing investment homes
