Not getting initial issues and workmanship defects addressed. Terrible communication. Unresponsive representatives.

What’s committed at the time of closing is not yet done . I am still waiting for that . And also no body contacted me for 1 month inspection.

Not Satisfied with the Home we moved-in

We moved into a Model home which was a sales Office earlier. Prior to moving-in (at the time of purchase), we were provided a lot of assurances but when close to the move-in date, sales representative was not agreeing to none of the items agreed upon. For Ex: the carpet was really Bad and nothing was done to address the issue. Similarly with the doors. The only saving grace was the construction manager Joaquin. He ensured all the defects highlighted on moving-in were fixed. Over all did not have a positive experience and also felt I had paid 20K more than the market value.

The process wasn't delightful. I was given false hope several times and was offered things I didn't receive. If I could do it all over, I wouldn't choose KB homes.

While the home KB delivered is certainly a fine home, I'd wager there are ways to get a fine home with less headache. After being in the home a while, it's clear where some costs were cut. Certain things were unfinished or wrong: a chandelier with no lightbulbs, the door to the garage was installed backward, a nail sticking out of the stairs, a shrub promised in the front that has never been installed, several dozen large nails left on the deck/backyard. Many of these left undone after I was told they would all be fixed. A free additional bucket of paint was promised that I've never received. ...

Alan and Don were great communicating with us from the beginning to the end, we run into a lot of issues from grading of the lot to constructions issues, in fact, we closed about 2 months now, I have not moved 10 days ago, we are still seeing issues with nails poping out, a few items pending from the last walk through before closing. our backyard keep getting flooded everytime it rains, and they are planning to regrade it again.. while I have two car garage, the drive way is so narrowed that I can only park one car ..

Let's start from the beginning. I found myself in a position to purchase a home. I thought to myself wouldn't it be nice to own a house so close to downtown Raleigh? Well, yes it would have been nice. To be honest the location is in an area with lots of growth. But, the point is the house is a complete disaster. I have never in my life been struck with such intense buyers remorse than after the purchase of this home. This WILL be my first and last purchase with KB home. As a first time homebuyer I was initally very excited, but as time progressed, I became utterly disappointed with the whole process. The numerous delays, lack of communication and now that we are in the home, there are still a multitude of things wrong with the home, that we have been waiting almost 2 months for to be repaired. I will not buy another KB Home.

Our experience has been a nightmare. There is not enough room in this space to properly explain all of the problems we've incurred. Pushing sales people, uncooperative staff, mismanaged build, delays, delays, delays, inspections not passed, poor trades work, very poor and upon moving in after two months work still needs to be completed. Newest development is finding possible mold in our attic and having to WAIT for the warranty department to get back with us. In the meantime, we are living in a house that may or may not be safe to live in. I will guarantee you that no one at KB Homes ...

Had a major issue issue related to crawlspace and still it exists, wood work is not proper throughout the house. For 30 days they bluffed that they are going to fix a wood work issue and on the day of closing they mentioned that it cannot be done. Literally no response from KB Warranty team, need to follow-up multiple times on any issue. Very high price.

Bad experience, bad service. There is still no orientation list even after more then 1 month of closing. Walls look terrible, backyard looks terrible, nothing was fixed
