House wasn’t even completed on closing day and kb homes didn’t even have paperwork ready to close when they picked the date to close. Craftsman ship is disappointing. Got my microwave stolen while in building phase. Landscaping is dying and uneven and mostly dirt and grass. Sodding isn’t even up to code. Cracks In driveways and inside garage and only lived in for 2 months. They said the settling is “normal” but the cracks will only get worse down the road.

It was a process as expected but we are happy with our home. Everyone was nice and helpful and still check in with us to make sure we are ok!

Workmanship is not good at all. There are many poor quality works that we have found at many places of the home. Even when we asked them to be fixed the persons who came to fix did the same kind of poor quality repairs making no difference. At the time of closing we noted some issues that needed to be addressed. But due to closing timeline, we were told to go ahead get them fixed by warranty. There are two bigger items that are not addressed till date, that we definitely want them to be addressed. Chipped portion of counter top in kitchen that was just glued in, Drive way replacement as it has cracks. In fact prior this year, I dropped from other home in East village - Classic collection for the drive way crack issue and they said they will not fix it. But after we dropped from that home, we saw the driveway was getting replaced. If we were told that will be fixed we would have very weel bought that home instead earlier this year. But now the same drive way crack happened here. Earlier when we signed the offer, there was no crack. But towards the closing it started showing and before closing we said this is not something that we are comfortable with. But we were told it is very minor and due to lack of time for closing date, it is better to close first and get them addressed by warranty later. Now we see that it evolved bigger and warranty team is saying it is in tolerable limits for them. But that is not aceptable answer for us as we had dropped from earlier hiome also for the same reason. ... More

Excellent services and respond.

The price was very reasonable, and the sales agent and construction foreman were awesome to handle our needs, but the quality of workmanship needs to be better.

It was a pleasure working with the KB Homes team. From the sales representative Jamie, Project manager/Representative Mike and to our loan officer Grace, I thank all of them. They all worked so hard to be able to assist, answer all of my questions and to finally be able to make sure that everything is good with my house. Thank you all so much for everything you do! It was definitely a pleasure working with you guys. I highly recommended this home builder and their team. Kids and I LOVE our Home!

KB Employees have been fantastic to work with like Kirin, Thomas, and Daniel. However, it’s the trade partners KB has selected to use that brings your marks down. For example, our cabinets delayed the closing of our home several weeks, we are missing sensors for our HVAC, we paid for Ethernet ports at the design meeting which were ultimately installed, but wired to nowhere because no one notified us (including the consultant) that we would also need a panel in our laundry room. The Ethernet port issue doesn’t seem like a big issue to most, but now we are in our dream home and every work day my wife is reminded of the error because she needs to jump through extra hoops to connect to her work wirelessly instead of a simple hardwire. ... Chris and Paul have been great with everything and anything I needed for the house. Any questions or concerns or minimal things I notice after moving in we’re addressed almost immediately. Being in the same industry but working for a different builder I can honestly say that this is the best experience I’ve ever had.

We loved the entire experience of watching our family home get built. The crew really knew how to cater to our every want and need. I looked forward to every weekly update. They even finished 2 months prior to the original estimated time.

KB Homes made our dream of having a perfect home came true! Excellent and very professional staff, with the best counseling to find the place you need for living! Excellent houses with high value quality materials! I recommend KB Homes team to find the house you need!

My experience with the sales guys was great, but not so with KB management who seems invisible. They only use the small guys on the ground for issues that require leadership to address. Please ensure you ask all questions before construction begins, I assumed sprinkler system was part of the home, only to discover last minute, it's an additional expense, it was not disclosed in the beginning.

Each department was professional and was helpful through every process of my journey. Noe as I see things needing attention your TEAM is helping get things right. Thanks again for your thoroughness in the details.

Buying a new home takes some time. In my experience options were discussed. However, things were not communicated clearly, and felt punished when others made a mistake regarding discussing certain things. Not sure if I'll be recommending KB homes moving forward.

Glenwood Team Has Provided the BEST Experiences I Have Ever Had in Real Estate Transactions First of all, allow me to get right into the point by establishing my credential first since everyone here is very busy, of course, that includes myself for building my own backyard among other things as a new homeowner; I've been in the guest/customer service related industry for my entire life as a Certified Wine Sommelier and more; therefore, the "takes one to know one" part comes into place. Secondly, I've just self-published a book/menu on Amazon about guest/customer services and it earned number one in five different categories besides as the Most Wished For and Most Gifted book in just 18 days; so, "takes one to know one," it is! My initial experience was at Belcarra with a very experienced gentleman: Pros - very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Cons - gave me the wrong information about the Builder's incentive to which could only apply toward options, not to lot premium or anything else, it's a "use it all or lose it." And the all-out-blitz pressure in sales' tactics was just way too much, it totally ruined the admiration I had for him. Let me just mention a few things that he "recommended." 1. Turning the standard master-bath into the one like his, which is like Bellagio's if not better, even his friends agreed, and he just went on and on about it, my realtors and I kept looking at each other while listening, sigh... 2. Upgrading the standard master bath into a Luxurious one by taking out the second bedroom, sigh... 3. Upgrading the electrical system throughout the entire house even at the cost of over $2,000, many of his buyers regretted it, he then said to them "I told you so!" sigh... Now here is the really, really good stuff, The Glenwood Team, KB Home Design Studio, Field Managers, and Loan Department. YAY!!! John was the first one I came in contact with, super friendly, professional and knowledgeable, after showing me those available lots, I went with his recommendation, and said let's write up the Sale's contract now! John passed the transaction to Lori because it was her turn, What A Team Player (I knew that it must be part of the KB policies, and yet, still). Thank you, John! Lori was just as awesome as John while writing the agreement, she thoroughly explained to me, and about what to expect and when... Thank you, Lori! Unfortunately, so I thought...John and Lori both got transferred. But, here she is, The Star of The Show, ladies and gentleman, I give you Beth...! Oh. my goodness, I felt so fortunate and grateful to have someone like her to help me through the entire process in those bi-weekly updates and more...to the point of, I even asked myself, is it Monday/Friday, yet (LOL)? Beth is the epitome and the living proof of a true professional! She is everything I mentioned about John, Lori, but plus a whole lot more...caring, thoughtful, respectful and friendly, too. Thank you, Beth! You are the BEST! The Design Studio, Lindsey is just as Amazing as Beth! Throughout the 2-3 hour appointment we had, I never felt any rush, she was very polite and thoughtful while laying down the options that would best fit my needs. Thank you, Lindsey, for turning a house into a home for me! Filed Managers, Tyler, the pre-drywall orientation was very pleasant and done in such a professional manner! Thank you, Tyler! Now The Field Manager, TAD! He is super awesome in all aspects, the first walk-through, second walk-through, and all the follow-ups after moving in.
