We could have been provided a lot more detail about the buying process and what actions were expected of us and your company. In the end, it all worked out for the better and we're very happy about our purchase. As with anything, there were serious glitches throughout the buying procedure and final purchase. Some of those glitches caused extra expenditures by us and delayed closing, considerably. We weren't happy when that happened and, at some times, wished we could cancel the purchase completely. But, we didn't do that and we completed the process and feel it was the right thing to do.

The whole process was great. Staff are very collaborative. They helped us out the entire process in achieving our dream of a new home. Thank you KB and staff.

Everything was great people were very helpful and friendly everything was as expected.

Paint all over the floors and kitchen appliances that we now have to remove. Not happy at all.

Great experience buying a home

Excellent service with direct and punctual communication is the cornerstone of KB Homes. Prospective buyers are greeted with professionalism and thorough knowledge of the VA home buying program.

Not very happy with KB Home, and their loan officers and management. Loan officers never properly communicated with us. In the end we had to find a different lender. After the closing when we entered the house, there were things needed to be fixed. Here we are trying to get settled in the new home we were still calling the contractor to get the stuff fixed inside the home.

Jesse De LA Huerta has been helping me a lot in building my dream home. He have to best customer service and very detail in explaining every process of the house. He listened to my need and trying his best to work with me.

KB home seems to be more about quantity & production vs quality & customer satisfaction. Had multiple issues with house & community since home purchase. Workload applied to management team seems to be a lot to be able for them to address all homeowners concerns, repairs & issues in timely manner.

We had the best experience in this process. Building your home from the ground up can be stressful but not with KB homes. They invest in you and guide you the whole way through. We now have our perfect dream home.

It was a great experience. The construction manager Chad was very friendly and understanding.

My overall experience buying thisnhome started out amazing. In fact i didnt even think i was going to be buying a KB Home but the salesperson michael was amazing and when we saw the model home it was everything we wanted and the peefect price. The construction team was very communicative and during the build and kept me updated. My experience went south when my loan officer Victoria got involved. There was zero communication on locking in my interest rate so when it came time to close the interest rate had gone up! The only way we could get it back to the original rate is to do a adjustable rate mortgage and because of her bad communication i now had to roll the dice and hope i can refinance at some point in the next 5 years or take on future intrest rates which could cost us thousands of dollars in paying interest. I originally wanted 30 year fixed loan but the amaount of money it would have cost us to get the rate down was far outside what i budgeted. That was just the first experience. The next was no communication around the closing day! Yes the most important day of a homeowners journey she failed to give me accurate dates costing me even more money in extending my lease for a couple days and staying in a hotel for a couple days. The closing day wasnt just misquoted once not twice but three times. Keep in mind i have all my stuff packed up in a uhaul and am now having to pay extended uhaul rental days. I was basically homeless for a week with my fiance and a new born. When it came time for a manager to take care of the situation the response was slow and took forever. They told me multiple times “there is nothing we can do”. I finally got a hold of the regional manager and he was professional and able to offer me $1000 towards my closing. Though that didnt event slightly cover the cost of adjustments i had to make. I didnt really care about the money it was more that my feedback was heard to prevent anyone else from having this same experience. He also was able to help arrange a closing day on a saturday which i am appreciative even though it was still my loan officers fault for skipping over major details in the process that caused this. The icing on the cake was when we finally closed and got to our new home. The loan officer never told the construction manager about us closing on saturday so he could have the house cleaned and ready for us. So we came in to a home that didnt have its finishing touch. The construction manager brayden was able to get a crew out asap and have it cleaned but the breakdown in communication was unfortunate and again we just had to roll with the punches. As a homeowner i would now never want to buy a home again because of how tramatizing this experience was. As a loan officer you basically have the customers finacial future in the palm of your hands. The least you could do is slow down when it comes to MAJOR details and make sure the customer is caught up. Such a pleasant experience. Kerry Abt was helpful, accommodating and informative in the search of the perfect home. Brandon made things top notch and followed through with a gentleman like approach! Great experience and great staff!

After everything I have been thru the buying of my house, I just can say that with the professionalism and help of Jill H.(sales representative), Mariel G. (Design Studio manager) and with the help after the last walk thru and his fast action with the final details of Mark (project manager), my dream house can not be come true. The entire process from start to finish was very seem less. The communication throughout by everyone was above any other experience I’ve had with purchasing a home. The staff at every level were very friendly and always helpful.

I was apprehensive when it came to selecting a new build because I’ve had family members who have purchased homes from builders and it was a nightmare for them either from the loan perspective, or the build, or the aftercare. However, the home we saw checked all of our boxes so we went for it. Starting with Renee at the sales office: absolutely phenomenal experience when it came to getting information prior to putting the deposit down and then actually securing the home. Throughout the process, Renee continued to be an exceptional source as this was our first home buying experience. Even after her duties were complete, Renee went above and beyond to help. Next, Blanca with the lending department: the handoff process from Renee to Blanca was seamless. Blanca worked to answer all of our questions and told us exactly what to expect. My credit had a few dings on it that I raised with her, and we partnered to address them. The horror stories that you hear of the lender being unresponsive or demanding paperwork that had already been submitted seem to be just that- stories. Blanca made everything easy and we knew exactly what was going on throughout the process. It seemed too easy if anything. Last but definitely not least, is Luis with what I’d call the aftercare team: after we moved in, there were a few things we had questions about (mostly cosmetic) that we found during the pre-closing walkthrough with Luis. Not only did Luis fix a majority of the things noticed prior to move in, but helped coordinate the items that couldn’t be remediated until after we moved in. Luis has been responsive and extremely accommodating to our needs even after we’ve moved in, and continues to be a fantastic source for questions that come up regarding the house. Really are really loving our new KB home. Great team to work with.

From the beginning I experienced irresponsibility, racism and disrespect to the costumer. My home has a broken tile,the banister is almost broken too, a skin with horrible quality and stained, the kitchen sink look like rusted. we were also asked to lie in order to give a good review to the company, the Superintendent offered us gifts if I gave her a good review. After that we started having more issues she ignored my messages, her name was Isabeau. So no, I won’t recommend this company AT ALL.

Kb home no respond for repairing warranty I have kitchen tile issue and walls pints no response about that
