KB has got it down to a science, or rather, an art. Amazing to me how quickly everything was completed, and deadlines consistently met. Head foreman David Hartman was friendly, professional, and responsive to our concerns throughout. Minor complications were resolved in a timely manner with excellent customer service provided by Ben Heese and staff. All contractors assigned to fix items during the inspection phase were prompt and professional. Useful information was provided to us (the homeowners) to help understand how said items work. Good communication was provided throughout the process. Salesman Lee Williams was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and committed to a smooth flowing process. When we first came in we told Patricia about our negative experience with KB in a different location in the past. She apologized and guaranteed that would not happen. Besides waiting longer for the house to be built she was great. Constantly called, text and sent pictures with updates. Then there was Brian the job super (not sure of his title) he was fantastic, he went above and beyond for us, Thank you so much.

This took about 8 months to build but it was well worth the wait time. We picked out a beautiful 1718 sq ft home located in a prime location of Elk Grove. It is probably the only home community in Elk Grove that is within walking distance to the light rail station. This home community is also conveniently next to highway 99 exit as well, without hearing the traffic. Tips for new home buyers, please make sure to select all your home upgrades and do a walk around home inspection after the home is completed. There were a few minor items that needed attention on my new home which was two cabinet panels replacement, top kitchen stove cover replacement, and the guest bathroom temperature adjustment knob. Upon discovering these items needing replacement I contacted Rob Reinold and he quickly addressed it and advised me he will have these items taken care of as soon as possible. His customer service and professionalism was on point and he always took the time to go over the entire home, give tips on standard housekeeping, and assured that things will get handle timely. John also was very determined to deliver to quality home on the timeframe that was promise and he delivered. Upon my walk through with John, he addressed all of the minor details of the home that needed attention as well. John took care of it the following week without any hassle. If there was a way to give more stars on this survey, I would give KB Home +5 more stars because they everyone that works there regardless of being in the office or construction field, they go the extra mile to make sure all of my request and add ons are done with great craftmanship and the little details are attended to. Kb homes always give information and great feed back for helpful tips. My advice is to always ask questions long the way they are so good at giving you good answers.

As the saying goes, you get what you paid for. There are a lot of issues with the home and their employees seem to be let go pretty often. This has been frustrating as I was promised something only to find out someone was let go and I have to start the process all over again. Their worksmanship is horrible.

Every one was so helpful. Our first home buying experience was amazing. They answer all your questions and concerns even if you think is silly ask away cause you want to make sure everything go’s smooth. We are very pleased with everything and everyone. Thank you KB homes

We have been in our KB home for a little over 1 month. So far, we are very happy here.

The reason I gave 4 stat of value for the price paid, a better quality of clothes shelving should been used instead of just ordinary wire shelving. Also, the garage should have been painted completely with white color instead of unfinished.

(Not going to say anything bad but I don’t have anything good to say about either) Customer Service Rep: Started with Eric and now have Damon ( Damon is definitely helping with the issues) With all the switching, I felt like that was a red flag alone.... Honestly I haven’t been happy. This was my first purchased home and I’ve had quite a few issues. Yes, understand mistakes happen but does this company have a in house inspector or is it the “project managers” job to catch the workers mistakes... Just a few things I’ve dealt with in my “brand new home”..... Some of the bedroom doors don’t lock - need to tell Damon. Carpet issues - repaired! Fence detached - notified Damon Dented garage - replaced and painted. Damon is working on that. Back door isnt flush, can’t lock the top lock on the back door - need to tell Damon Overall: We love our home and the location, ready to get these issues resolved and I’ll happy. ... More
