im enjoying the new home, hope it will with stand the test of time. during the build i feel like i had to be the one to catch issue that come up along the way. two key points being that an extra window was installed that my wife noticed,and we got that fixed at framing but, the other issue i noticed was after the stucco was done. a second window was 3 feet off 3 feet come on. the super on the job at the time gave me the option to leave it or move it. well we had to move or it would have taking away from the great room. after the window was moved the inside drywall patch came out fine but, the out side stucco patch was horrible didn't match the rest of the house and was bulge out. from what i have heard that this was the second tome that it was redone and it need to be redone again. the third time to over look the patch now on the final walk though and with the sale of my other house going through i feel that i had no choice but except how it looked. i will say that it looked better that the second pass but, the bulge is still there. visit your new build weekly take notes and measurements and come pair them to your lay out. ... My seller was awesome and attentive. Great to work with Amanda Hall. Not sure what his title is but Steve did my final walkthrough and was nice and respectful. However, I felt rushed to sign off. I signed off as complete even though there were several items that still needed some minor attention. He said the guys were coming that day so it was fine to go ahead and sign. When I moved in there was still blue tape in lots of spots. Looked like nothing I asked for was done. Also, the keys given to me on move in day didn’t work so it was disappointing to think I was walking into my new home but couldn’t. I will say Steve fixed the problem within the hour of calling. ... I was very surprised at the bang I got for my buck

We were looking for a smaller one floor home, a smaller yard and a neighborhood pool with affordable HOA fees, we found it in our new KB home.

We have been in our home almost 2 months and talked to the warranty twice and have emailed them and no one seems to care. I am very disappointed.

Make sure to get a reputable home inspector before buying. Be willing to walk a way if the price you’re willing to pay is denied. Also it’s a good idea to buy a book that tells you what to look for and what to be aware of before buying a home.

My family is a happy family. We love our KB home. Built it just the way we wanted, beautiful!

It’s amazing experience with KB home.

KB homes lived up to their promise and delivered a beautiful home. They promptly addressed any issues with repairs and touch-ups, though issues were minimal. The only thing that I can't get used to is how flimsy the wallboard is. I came from a house built in the 1940's where the walls were made of plaster (rock hard cement) and were basically bulletproof and soundproof. Bumping into the walls at the new house always leaves a gouge. I guess that is the new normal, but you might want to consider sound proofing especially if you install speakers in the downstairs ceiling.
