KB Homes is best company when it comes to home building/buying process. They use smart and energy efficient materials to enhance the home. They also take care of everything as far as purchase paperwork, financing options, escrow service to eventually handing you keys, the process couldn't be any smoother. Great Job!

Not what I inspected I could of bought a modular home for cheaper and better quality

We are very happy with our purchase. Our finished home is exactly as we expected. Any concerns we may have had were acknowledged and addressed to our satisfaction. Extremely qualified and courteous workers. Great work!

The home buying process was pretty smooth. I appreciated all the actors throughout the process providing excellent customer service & responsiveness to any inquiries I posed. I am quite disappointed that the 2019 taxes were passed on to me for the four months prior to my closing. As a disabled veteran I claim homestead exemption yet I have to pay for a tax that the seller should have incurred. Although not deceptive, I do think it was a bit underhanded for them to pass that tax off to me instead of paying it outright to the city. Especially for a house I didn’t occupy for the assessed months.

I’m completely in love with my house. I dealt with honest, caring people from the builder down to the saleswoman. I’m pleased

Construction Supervisor Charles did a great job at every phase and was in touch and available when I needed him.

They care about customer

Materials used could be better. Example: The upgraded kitchen to "gourmet" kitchen only has a 30" hood and stovetop. Could have used a minimum of 36" instead. Would be better if the countertop would have had a 1'' to 1.5" trim instead of just a slab. It looks cheap. However, overall, team is great. The superintendent is very attentive to details of the construction of the home and walks you through the construction phases. The super responds very quickly to questions. I really enjoyed working with them!

In the North we had a large yard to maintain as well as a basement. The KB home yard is not too big, not too small, but just right. Our 3 car garage fits both cars and provides plenty of storage for shelving, tools and some yard equipment. We don't miss our basement at all.

Buying a house is stressful regardless of if it's new build or not. Aimee and the entire KB staff has helped make this purchasing a new home less stressful, and each department had a well knowledgeable person there to guide us through the whole process. I know we made the right choice going with KB Homes instead of some other builder.

Do your homework and be prepared to fight with financing. Do not go off what they tell you and make sure you get a preapproval from an outside lender to compare.

The quality of counter in bathroom is poor lots of scratches already.

Jana from the beginning was energetic and flexible when we first shared our interest at Caledonia. She talked us through several lot options and made us feel comfortable through the whole process. Check-in texts and welcoming us to walk our home during construction was a plus. Sherry was helpful walking the house and talking us through the best placement of the dog pass- through door. Lee was patient and open to our feedback during initial & final walk throughs. He was helpful explaining what needed to be accomplished once the keys were handed over. KB has always been responsive to any issues we have , and promptly addressed and corrected. Loving our forever new home.

I think that no other builder can beat KB in terms of price, value, and customer service. I do admit that the quality of materials and craftsmanship can be rough, crude, or careless depending on your luck, but KB's quick response and accountability makes up for it. And the competitive house prices also make up for it. I've been fortunate to work with some great people from the sales, to home design, to construction foreman. These people really live up to fulfilling the KB name. The only complaint I have is the high price of the options to add to the house. But overall, I'm very satisfied with the house. Just about the easiest home buying process ever. After a bad experience with a sales rep from DR.H, Alexis stepped up and explained all of our options and kept us updated every week throughout the whole building process. Also J.D. the superintendent worked with us every step of the way to ensure that all the touch ups after the move in were taken care of.

Not bad builders just have to spend a lot of time looking after the craftsmanship.
