We closed before the certificate of occupation was issued and could not move in until a day after signing. The house has many issues from poor construction to a yard that floods. The poor construction was identified and we were told that it would be fixed. We are now over a month into this process and very little has been fixed and nothing major.

At first they were very on top of issues, as more issues arise after living in the house it took longer and a littler hard to get things accomplished - especially the first time

It was a great experience buying a brand new home and working with the builder. Everything came out as the contract spelled out or better. No problems

Material used is cheap, upgrade is limited and expensive. Not very good build quality either.

For the most part everything went smooth. We found some minor things but it’s part of buying a new home. The responsiveness on these issues were great. Constant follow up was great as well. I always had someone to go to and I was heard

They gave attention to every tiny details. I'm very happy with the construction and also with the maintenance.

We were looking for a single-story home to retire in. We found this development and were impressed with the models. The sales team and construction supervisor invited us to take an active part in the process of home construction. We had weekly and bi-weekly meetings and did a weekly walk-through and inspection of our new homes progress. The final orientation to the features and systems was friendly and thorough. It was a wonderful experience that we never had with our other new homes.

Satisfied about most things except lawn. There are some damages of my backyard lawn next to the lot under construction.

The builder team and staff members are very professional, knowledgeable and willing to help and assist in every detail. My experience with KB Home has been excellent and with very little stress. The caring and professionalism they exhibit make this journey pleasant in all aspects of the process, from beginning to end and beyond! Kudos KB Home!

KB homes really stand up to their promises . Awesome build quality.

Home wasn’t even finished when we closed (rushed to make their nov. 30th deadline) paint quality is terrible it’s comes off with the slightest scrape, closed almost 2 months ago and still don’t have a screen door, asked for a fence quote 3 times and never got one. And home was filthy after closing, had to ask for it to be cleaned. After talking to neighbors it seems like we’ve all had this same experience so it’s not a 1 time fluke.

Experience was smooth and easy. Communication limitless. Kept us informed through the entire process.

We have lived in the home over 3 months now. We love the house and neighborhood. We were very satisfied with our sales rep and the gentleman who oversaw all the construction - I rated them both "10"s. However, I've reported in writing numerous times that the back lawn is a swamp that never drains, and KB Homes is doing absolutely nothing about it. We can't walk across the lawn without waterproof boots. We cannot mow the lawn because a mower won't make it through the mud. The dogs cannot go outside without getting their feet wet. We certainly can't play any lawn games. I'm at the point where I'm ready to report this to the Better Business Bureau or one of those "on your side" local news stories. ... More
