A month before closing we saw issues with the home that needed to be fixed, in order to delay the closing we inquired prior to the walk through. They said all issues would be addressed the same week and closing and be resolved quickly before closing. I closed on 23 June and it is now 11 August and I still have several items from my initial walkthrough that should have been fixed.

After we picked the house we wanted, nothing was good or great after that. Mortgage company was horrible. We did a walk through previously with blue tape and signed off. When we moved in, nothing was fixed we had marked. Trying to get them to fix anything was like pulling teeth and we had to do some of it ourselves. When someone spends over $400,000 on a brand new house, the buyer shouldn't have to do quality control in the contractors job. Do not recommend.

Still having major issues with the home. And small issues. Calls were never returned notes were never updated or taken a very confusing process poor customer service. They would say they were going to do something but then go back on their word multiple times.

They changed closing date many times. They have not came back to fix the things under warranty.

Nice finishes and budget friendly

Lacking construction experience and knowledge in the home building field to no one can do anything of what they promised at the time of closing they make it sound like your family and everything will be fixed but they can’t get their trades to come back and do any warranty work simple details get missed no one is ever available every one is either not in yet off or has gone home for the day or on vacation and no one is Available on weekends but yet they are sooooo behind very unhappy with the quality of the work for a brand new house Frank the kb construction rep is nooooo help at all kb is just empty promises I should have gone else where to purchase ... From the first day I met Philip May salt it to the last day we closed, what can I say. Philip always answered present to me at anytime even when he was resting at his gym. Jaime goss an extraordinary woman who was able to answer all my questions even when she was also resting. So Zack what to say. Always present at the slightest house concern to the point of coming to do the job sometimes and checking that everything has been done by the technicians. KBHOME i would always recommend and deal with them again and again

With rushed timelines and first time buying a new contraction it was a long process. After getting to closing the construction team and sales team here great and have been very responsive.

Its been and easy and smooth process. Scott and his team have been very professional in attending to requests and issues after moving in.

KB Homes was amazing to work with. This was my first time building a home and I was a little nervous at first. They made the process simple and efficient from the Design Studio to the construction. Would definitely build with KB Homes again in the future

My initial experience with KB was quite good. The sales, design studio, mortgage lending and construction manager would be rated 5 stars to work with but after closing, my experience has been much different. Pretty much, once you close on the house and try to get responsiveness from the warranty department to correct sloppy work completed along the way during the construction of your 'new' home, you can expect at least a month of back and forth to try to get anything accomplished. Great experience from day one to the last. Follow up, design, home quality is great. Pricing of everything was good. Great service after signing documents too. Will definitely recommend

Absolutely wonderful experience! Kelsey found a home on the perfect lot, in my price range, and with the needed bedrooms and bathrooms. Home is wonderful and exactly what I needed. Lots of check ins with the local warranty person, but never needed it! Been in the home now for 60 days and still can’t find anything wrong. Great decision, glad I found KB homes!

The overall experience was great. Just not much communication from the Loan portion of KB. I ended up using another lender, but I got the house I created which made me happy!

I bought a new house from KB Homes. It was an excellent experience . I am very satisfied with their job quality . I am very grateful to the team who took on to this job , from the sale person, the project manger and loan officer.. they would call time and again to answer your questions and make sure you are very happy with your new home. .

This was not our first rodeo. This was our third home and we knew exactly what we wanted and knew how the process should work. The process with KB home and its employees was fine. A few things here and there could’ve been improved upon, like clear, timely and concise communication, but we handled it as best we could. However KBHS home loans was a nightmare. We dealt with unprofessionalism when we were called by a seemingly intoxicated agent at 9:30pm on a Sunday. Then we got a new agent who was much better than the first, but still couldn’t answer our questions which lead us to making four different trips to the bank to get a Gift Letter four different ways because every time we were told it was okay, then for it to come back and us be told it needed something else. Even the bank was blown away and said they’d never had so many issues doing a Gift Letter in the past. It was such a mess and really made our experience negative at the end when we should’ve been the most excited. The house is gorgeous, not sure of the quality of the materials and of course everything in the design center is way overpriced, but there are options for all budgets which we thought was really nice. We hate that there is an HOA that seems very overbearing at this point. One lady in the neighborhood said when she was buying, they told her there was no HOA, then once she was in, one was formed. Make sure you know for sure or get something in writing if that’s important to you. All in all, every neighborhood has positives and negatives, you just have to do your research and decide if the negatives are something you can live with. The purchase of the house was very smooth and the personnel from KB Homes were very helpful and keep us informed.

I recently purchased a new home, and while there are some positive aspects, I must highlight a few concerns regarding the walls, paint, and structural issues. 1. Uneven Walls: One noticeable issue with the house is the unevenness of the walls. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that some walls have slight bulges or dips, which affects the overall appearance and makes it challenging to hang artwork or shelves. 2. Paint Issues: There are several paint-related problems throughout the house. I observed uneven paint application in certain areas, with visible brush strokes and inconsistent coverages. While the new home has its positive aspects, such as its overall design and layout, the presence of uneven walls, paint issues, and structural concerns is disappointing. Easy to work with kb homes they are excellent

Overall the experience is a 10/10. The process was smooth and very easy to communicate with them. The house is exactly what I asked for. The staff from superintendent to customer service, to seller agent to everyone, really, were very responsive.
