Overall good experience.very happy with our new home.

We didn't get to go through the whole experience from beginning to end because we bought an inventory home. Everything was great except the fact that we never talked to the Construction Manager until 2 weeks before closing. The salesmen was wonderful and called us every week. But we are enjoying the home.

KB Home team made our home buying experience seamless. Everyone were responsive to our questions and concerns. We are from out of state and they kept us and our realtor in the loop at all times during the building process.

My experience with purchasing a house was a great experience over all. Omar did my walk through and I was pleased. He made me feel comfortable and he made sure he that I understood what he was discussing, his role and the whole process after closing.

We're fine with the home, but long story short, we're finding issues with the house after about a month of being here. The sales team and building project manager are responsive, but things would have been better if the builders were not in a rush to finish the home. We've dealt with stuck doors, wet paint, a leaky sink, unsealed garage, a number of other issues that we were told would be fixed after inspection and closing. Some thing have been fixed while others are still outstanding- for example, a faulty oven that apparently, was a company-known issue being experienced by other home buyers. Moving forward, KB probably shouldn't buy wholesale appliances from Whirlpool. It does not seem like a good idea. We may need to call and email them to file for a warranty-replacement... again, after only about a month in living here. Overall my experience could have been so much better. Missing the little details that could have made it a truly great experience. With that said my agent Tabitha was good however when she was transferred to another location it took away the attention to details.

The buying experience is as easy as riding a bike for first time buyer or experience buyer. All detail information is listed. And once the transaction is done, the support from KBH don’t stop there. They go above and beyond . Love the team

The entire process was excellent and all issues were addressed by the constitution foreman.

Check everything before you move in walls, floors ceilings and diagram. For the most they were pretty fast to come fix the items that were wrong.

Beautiful community. Lacked communication. Couldn't get a clear date as to when we would close. After they found out we were upset they did go above and beyond to make us happy.

The issues i am having with the home that i recently purchase at the Shadow Mountain community are the features in the module home and the finish product are way different. The island and food storage pantry are too small in the finished homes and is not similar in size that are shown in the module homes. The solar panels which are main features and selling point of the KB Homes are yet to activated and being used by the owners. Both Sun Power and the Electric company are giving run arounds on who to submit request for activation, I would have gone with Pulte Homes and used Sun Run for my solar panels supplier if I have known that was going to be an issue. ... Our entire buying process was stress free. We were able to move it without any major issues. Our home is beautiful and affordable. KB’s team was always available for any questions or concerns we may have had, and promptly took care of issues that arose. This is our second home with this builder. I like the quality and affordable price you get with KB. I would 100% recommend KB for your next home/builder.

The best home buying experience I have ever had. It was an all around great process.

It was a terrible mistake to buy from KB home which could not deliver in a timely matter with below standard workman ship. Unlike what the company claims that they are number one, I learned the hard way about them with loss of over $20,000 during one year of waiting and responding to unrelated requests for loan documents which was ridiculous like writing essay for marketing properties. I am still waiting to hear from them about some outstanding issues.

They said was getting the model home only bigger. It was jot the model home it was very different no shutters, no railway, no rock outside the house. So felt very mislead. The dryer wiring was done incorrectly, the house was dirty upon move in, grout still not done in some rooms. Outlets not working. They literally put the cheapest materials possible toilets seats brand new were sliding all over the place had to replace screws. Paint wad only one thin coat you barely bump it or wash it comes off and leaves a bare spot in the wall. Cabinets were unfinished in bathroom and kitchen. They promise they will get to it in a timely manner but never show up. Or text a few minutes before coming with no wchedule and say we are coming. The house was poorly built snd through together as fast as possible with little quality and charged top dollar. Issues still not fixed. Has been beyond frustrating i cannot reccomend kn homes to anyone. ... More

First time buying experience can never be smooth but i live my community and my home. The only thing i would say so is the quality of workmanship could be a little better especially for the price we paid for it.

I recently had the experience of building a home with KB Home, and overall, I was very happy with the process. The company was professional and efficient, and they kept me updated on the progress of my home throughout the construction process. I also appreciated the fact that KB Home offered a variety of customization options, so I was able to make my home exactly what I wanted it to be. However, there were a few areas where I felt that KB Home could improve. For example, the execution of some of the finishing details was not as good as I would have liked. Sales rep, very helpful. Several issues with home during walk through, 6 weeks ago still have not been taken care of. Workmanship terrible, last incident, Clothes rack in walkin closet fell completely off the wall. Been 10 days and no drywaller to fix the problem. Issues with monthly house payment, failed to include escrow amount in the payment.

We first signed a contract with KB Homes in June of 2022. Ingrid was great at walking us through the process when we signed and the project manager had promised a delivery before Thanksgiving. Ingrid was more conservative with an estimate of mid-December. We had the hurricane move through and expected delays. There was no significant impact in the development and work continued. Work fell behind and we only knew by tracking expected closing on the app. Ingrid was always good at trying to get information for us, but the project manager was not keeping any sort of schedule and not passing on information at all. They were six months past the closing date when we were finally ready for closing. The underwriters discovered a situation with the financing options two days before closing that had a significant impact on our financing options. They had the information for four months and only found it two days prior. There were a few problems with the final build, however the new project manager was very helpful in getting the build back on track in the last two months. He was very helpful during our walk through and even after we moved in. Ingrid and Tiffany were both great to work with and went above and beyond expectations during our last week getting things straight for closing. Overall, we are pleased with our home and would recommend the builder with more oversight and outside financing secured in advance. ... More

I was disappointed since I bought my first house here in USA 10 years ago with KB Home so I really trusted this time. Unfortunately since my first sales rep left KB Home in the middle of the process the relationship get very weak until now Seems you are not well prepared for international sales. I bought this house for moving me here as primary house but I am am foreign so as family lost the first air tickets when the closing date was moved indefinitely just 4 days before the written promised date, and although it was somehow compensated in the final price it was a big inconvenient to do travel arrangements again. After closing was finally made I couldn’t receive the house because cleaning was not done even when I already have closed and paid. I found good support in the sales general manager for solving that issue the night before travel back to my born country w/o the possibility of a good checking, but again one more inconvenient. Now that I finally began my moving I found bad cleaning details, bad terminations in painting and carpets joints and cabinets don’t cared during the construction but the most important errors were a broken thermostat that made the AC work wrong and Not leaving a single TV jack point anywhere in the house so I couldn’t get internet service as due because that construction error… The issues keep going because regardless to do the notifications to the construction supervisor they take long for solving, if I dont call for follow up I dont receive updates and suddenly contractors come to my door w/o a previous notification and they lost their time because I am not at home or prepared for let them work.. I must say that when I reported the AC problem it was duly managed with urgency but besides that nothing else has been managed as expected. Disappointed ... More
