I fell in love with my crew, from Michelle, Vicki, Scott, and the Construction manager, Gill. They all were and have been phenomenal. Every question answered with the quickness you'd expect from the world's best home builder. My first KB Home was built in 2001, and this one in 2023. I am so pleased with KB and their home designs. I wish everyone could own a KB Home.

The service and quality of the customer service was exceptional. Greg and the team was always available to answer any questions that I have and give me a clear way to resolve any concern that I have great job on having those guys on your team.

I have bought homes through Quadrant, Oakridge, and KB Homes. KB Homes was by far a smooth, simple, straight forward process from start to finish. They truly focus on the customer and making sure everything is done to top quality. It was exceptional and I was always impressed. I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing from KB Homes!

Bad experience with part of KB Home employes and quality of work

The one thing that I don't like is, the utility workers do not notify you when they will need to access your property. We already moved into our home and we had our side gate locked and just made it home from shopping, and my wife was in the bedroom changing and two guys jumped my back fence, she ran into the living room and told me she was changing and these guys came over the fence and I ran to the back of the house and I saw that they were digging in my backyard.They had no name tags or uniforms and I didn't know who they were and they didn't speak English, and with all the crime today it almost ended with me pulling my weapon One then was able to say KB HOMES AT&T and I figured out that they were contracted out to KB Homes for at&t digging cable lines. They should have put a note on my door or something because it could have ended very bad. Please make your workers identifiable and start knocking and putting notes on your door and letting you know when they have to go into your back yard, so they won't have to jump your back fence. ... A great job was done by all involved

After getting over a few hurdles, I would highly recommend KB homes to any future home owner. They have worked hard as a team to deliver good customer service and satisfaction. Ryan did an amazing job! He is professional, well balanced and he worked with me until the very end. You will not go wrong working with Ryan.. They all worked together to make it happen in a timely manner.

Nice floor plans but concerning craftsmanship. Terrible basic options which practically force you to pay extra to upgrade. KB has a long way to go to be a quality builder for the extreme price point.

Process was quick and overall please with the home construction. Just be weary if a new home build starts next to yours... Workers are not tidy and having alot of people around all the time that you have to pickup after... Plus regular porta potty s that get used frequently next to your home. Probably would have chosen a more developed area for next time.

The home buying as far as the loan and sales were ok. The quality of the workmanship on the home is subpar. No quality control. The vendors used needs to be held more accountable for their sloppy workmanship. Still awaiting response for my squeaking floors. Placed a workorder several weeks ago and no one has responded.

Finance through the entire process was a nightmare, zero communication. I’m a first time buyer and they just uploaded more and more documents with ZERO explanation of what I was supposed to be signing. Finally after a very serious email threatening to back out of the entire thing someone reached out to me and basically told me they just need me to sign, It’s not really important stuff right now, when it is they’ll explain it. Keep in mind these are all financial documents. I put my earnest money down Jan 29th, on a “move in ready” home, my closing was listed as end of march. After pushing it out a week at a time with no updates I finally closed may 5th. Final items on construction list were done hastily and some had to be redone multiple times. Very little work done all of feb or march. Bulk done in April and with most getting finished the final 2 weeks. The entire process had me wanting to back out but I felt like there wasn’t really a better option financially. It was the best price for the size I needed including preowned homes. My lease was ending and I had put all my faith into this endeavor. They had to call in Mario, a different construction supervisor the last two weeks because of how unhappy I was, it is because of him that I went through with it. He communicated and actually explained the delays and seemed like he knew what he was talking about. I closed with only 4 days to move myself from my 2300 sq ft rental and have it inspection ready. Things still need to be fixed that weren’t caught during the final walk. There was a hold up with the electric company that prevented me from switching services for an entire month. I don’t believe the caulk that the painters used during touch up was the right kind or maybe because they painted over it immediately all the paint cracked and it does not look like the what I expected from a BRAND NEW 300k+ home. Most touch ups look like the landlord special. They told me they would do a courtesy paint touch up after everything was moved in. I basically declined it because I had to unpack after work every day and after a month I’m still not done, and after seeing how the last touch up went I’ll just take care of it myself. Flat paint was used throughout the entire house and I was told if you get something on the wall don’t try to wipe it off just paint over it or you’ll rub off the texture. All in all the quality is not even close to what I expected for the price but I just told myself that’s the best you’re going to get in this economy, and I can fix things myself and make them better. ... I’ve had a leaking roof in my starlight kb home in the Central Park area for 5 weeks!! KB has sent the same roofer out three times and they have still not fixed my roof. It actually seems to be getting worse. I’ve also had my dishwasher broken, my AC not working. I have a hole in my siding and holes in the flashing of my outside fireplace that let mice get into my walls, and they scratch behind my daughters headboard in her bedroom. Nobody’s come out to seal the hole or the flashing or make sure that the mice are out of my walls. I’ve had a pond in my front yard from the neighbors sump pump, constantly running and leaking into my yard. I’ve had a leak in my indoor plumbing that went into the basement and I had drywall damage. All of the weatherstripping and window seals on my windows are falling off. The refrigerator molding is torn, and I have no power in my office or guestroom and haven’t for over a month. so, I’m Not exactly satisfied. And these are just the big things. ... More

Had a really great buying experience. Diana communicated through the whole process. The house is beautiful with very big backyard. I would spend more time looking at the upgrades if I could redo the process again.

Writing reviews is a good thing. But when you move into a new home and things are not right. I'm not a happy home owner. Too many problems in this home and nothing has been done about the problems I'm having. I need someone visit my home to see and understand why I'm not a happy homeowner and should be.

This house was in the first community we looked at. The green spaces and walking paths made the decision for us. The personal that worked with us were professional and helpful.

KB is the best around

Lack of attention to detail, so many irregularities one spots only after the fact I guess the excitement of getting a new house vails the blemishes initially truly disappointed with that fact.

KB HOME BUILDER IS THE BEST!

I want to start off by saying Ryan has been trying his best during this time however I’m still extremely dissatisfied with the follow up with issues regarding the home itself. The buying process was not a problem, I am satisfied with that part of this process. Tyler has been absolutely abysmal with responding to issues that have been constantly happening, such as a light in my kitchen that has been left unscrewed since 2 days off buying this home. During the last week of the purchase I asked Ryan if I could get my private inspector to come in and check the home after the closing and he confirmed I could so I went ahead and did that and the inspector found things that need immediate immediate attention. So I message Tyler and Ryan a text message and long story short I haven’t received anything but a phone call from Tyler that I missed. At this point I would like to work with someone else. ... More
