The sales side of the transaction was very good. The mortgage staff was helpful, the realtor that sold us the home was helpful at getting us a fair price, and informing us of deals. That was a very positive experience. Downside was samsung products. A month after moving in the oven broke and there's no warranty to cover it. I contacted KBHomes customer service and they said a warranty was available through Samsung but Samsung said no it is only available 1 year from date of purchase. Either way I was caught in the middle and had to pay $2k for a new oven. Not good when you buy a brand new home and use a stove 1 time. There was some painting issue that we pointed out to the community rep and he still hasn't given us the paint name or come by with the paint (like he said he would) to fix the paint issues. There are no 20A circuits where we can run our treadmill or water distiller. Kicks out the GFI every time. I asked the electrical contractor who wired the house for a quote on putting in a single 20A circuit. $1,000. You’d think that a $720,000 home could have had a 20A circuit for a treadmill. Lots of people have treadmills. I’m not sure whether a 15A circuit would even power a skill saw under load. Every person we’ve dealt with through our building process have been extraordinary, wonderful people. We love our new home, but had no idea about the power deficiency. It has been a very nice experience. I have several children in the design, construction, etc business and they kept a close eye on the construction. Their overall opinion was I was getting a nice solid home. Their weekly communication was very good. Meetings with the construction supervisor were very informative and insightful. The design team was very patient. The finance team went above and beyond helping me assemble all the paperwork that was needed.

From start to finish, KB was amazing. We are so pleased with our new home and especially with the whole team. This is our third home purchase from KB and there is a reason we are back.

Our Salesman Tom was outstanding in every phase of the process. The mortgage contact Tom referred me to, gave me solid advice on how to proceed with my purchase. Darin - our construction manager kept us informed, fixed any issues we had and was knowledgeable, responsive and experienced. Orlando, - was the designer who guided us through our selection process and delivered the look and style my wife was seeking. A truly beautiful home! Closing was easy, fast and efficient. Overall experience was an A Plus!

I was very impressed from my 1st encounter with my sales counselor. He went over & beyond providing me the information needed to make my decision. I am very, very satisfied with the look, quality & workmanship of my home. The entire team was awesome & responded timely to all questions & concerns. Sales staff great, thank you. Construction rushed, and it showed. Too busy trying to make EOY deadlines. Previous KB homeowner from New Construction, this one not up to same standard. Not talking about extras, just like basics, cabinet installation, chaulk, hanging doors. No attention to details or levels apparently from the crews to the supervisors. Dont get me wrong still a good home, just could have paid closer attention and had it done right first time.just slow down.

My husband and I were very impressed with the whole KBHome experience. We would highly them to any new home buyers.

Sales department needs more training. We were told a lot of incorrect information. And they never followed up with concerns or communicate with the rest of the team in order to address those concerns properly. Sloppy worksmanship(mainly with paint job of exterior and interior) although our superintend was very nice. Several issues already only two months after closing. We were told there would be 10 day and 1 month check ins/follow up with customer service but we got neither. The only thing we are satisfied with was the design studio experience and consultant.

From the very beginning, the process was amazingly efficient. All of the employees were incredibly helpful and answered any and all questions.

Save yourself some headache and just go buy a CBH. Superintendent and tradesman don’t care about you or what they’re doing. I have missing splotches of paint in my house. I had a 3’x3’ drywall patch upon move in that looked like I did myself. Not a single straight line anywhere. Carpet is already peeling up. Terrible workmanship and an absolute lack of craftsmanship.

I am in love with the flooring throughout the home. It looks very polished, & exceeded my expectations. The backsplash for the kitchen is also my favorite part. The craftsmanship of how it was laid & the color is beautiful!

Great home and customer service

We expected much more from the quality of the KB Home. With the price and presentation, we thought that we were purchasing an excellent house. However once in, we realize that the quality is much lower than our expectations. Exapmples - a) the insulation is terrible - the wall between the office and master bath seems like there is NO insulation - when the shower door is closed - it reverberates loudly in the office - that should NEVER be the case. Ralph comes from a builder family and knows what quality is. He is also an Interior Designer/Architect and knows the business - thus we have been exceedingly disappointed in our purchase. b)Also the windows appear to have be deficient - they hold moisture and are wet at the base .c) The stair going into the garage does not appear to be the appropriate width - we have nearly fallen down the step several times. c) We also notice that several neighbors had "french drains" installed under their houses. We have been told that we also have free water pooling under our house. Do we need to have a french drain installed? When walking over the floors - things on the counters "rattle" due to the vibration. We have never lived in a house where this happens. Thank you for allowing input ... More

The house is beautiful & I love the layout. Plenty of room & storage. I would not rate the quality of workmanship high because as I live in the house I see things done carelessly in my opinion. As some things I was told would happen such as the house expanding & nails coming through wall & seams opening , I was expecting that. I know I can discuss this at my intervals of expectation & some of my concerns have been resolved to my satisfaction. Overall I am happy & would recommend KB Homes.

Happy we decided to go with KB Homes. The process was made easy and simple with their available resources and teams. Walker was an expert in selling, while Tony was an expert in managing the building of our home. We also used their loan services and Melanie, our representative was wonderful to work with.

The best experience ever. I can’t put words in words to anything. Staff were amazing. Friendly, respectful, experienced and very professional I’m very happy and willing to pay another one next year. Thanks to all of you

I know these are cookie cutter homes that are thrown together in less than a few months and I understand things won't be perfect but for the price I paid for the house I would argue the craftsmanship should've been better. Other than that I'm happy to be an homeowner!

Normally I'd rather have a root canal that go through than buy a house. KB Home made the entire experience an complete delight! From my Sales agent -> Building Supervisor -> Loan agent and staff -> Underwriting -> Closing I received superior services. Everyone was professional, engaging and friendly. I could' t ask for a better experience!

Shomari is THE BEST!! he is so caring and takes his time explaining everything to make sure I understood and was comfortable. He also always made sure all our tasks were completed in a timely manner and He was always on top of it! So thankful for Shomari during this process and all of his help!!! My home buying experience was awesome because of Him!

Bought a brand new home in Falling Water 2 and the build quality is not as good as I would expect with a new home and under the brand of KB Homes. The roof above my garage is bowed and they keep telling me it is a cosmetic defect... I am hiring roofing company to give me a second opinion
