KBHome staff are great people they make the process EASY and STRESS FREE for you.

Homes are worth maybe $400k from a value perspective, advertise starting at $540k with low grade fixtures, appliances, cheap lighting, cheap counter tops, other than kitchen, everything is low quality unless you pay for upgrades. After $120k in upgrades, you still have an unfinished basement, and lack things you should get standard. Lipstick on a pig best describes KB Homes value proposition.

Our Sales Rep & Superintendent were PHENOMENAL. They were both very responsive, worked with us as best they could within whatever limitations were present and kept us in the loop at all stages.

My experience with KBHomes was simple and straightforward. There was no hassle, and the home was well worth the price.

Overall Experience was wonderful.

Very good purchase experience except KB loan.

The process wasn't delightful. I was given false hope several times and was offered things I didn't receive. If I could do it all over, I wouldn't choose KB homes.

The house I purchased was not new but broken, ruined, damaged.... I overpaid for this home based on the quality and workmanship. I have been requesting repairs for months. These repairs should have been made prior to me purchasing this home. I will never buy a KB home again. I asked for you to take your home back but you refuse to do that. I do not want a KB Home. My opinion is just getting worse not better with each person or issue.

KB Homes are a nightmare!

Material used for home are cheap. Blue tape was taken lightly and not fixed appropriately. Claim calls have been great! Response has been fast.

My home is beautiful and was very well built. In the first 45 days my list of very minor items that needed to be addressed were taken seriously, addressed immediately and coordinated well with me on timing to get the work done. Garret has been on the spot to get things completed to my satisfaction. Again, these were very minor issues in my situation but they were addressed quickly and professionally! Thanks Garret and thanks KB Homes!

Listen to our concerns. Care and compassion!

Beginning with getting pre-approval through KB Homes the rep failed to do diligent work and could not get me pre-qualified for VA loan. However, outside loan servicer was able to easily do a qualification for the loan then incentives through Kb Homes were promised and it took multiple levels of leadership to approve this. Closing was pushed twice because Supertindent made promises to complete all work identified in the final walkthrough prior to closing and that did not happen. Currently still trying to get the work done from issues identified in final walkthrough prior to closing. All work that was completed prior to closing was very poor and the overall construction of the house has terrible finishing work that illustrates laziness in contractors and a bad process for ensuring quality assurance. Bought in the same community where we had previously built two other homes. This time we did not get to select our own finishes, but it had a lake view, no neighbors to look at and on the cul-de-sac. Overall we are pleased with the home, it is well constructed for the price, not a mansion but meets all code requirements, had everything brand new and in the location that we were after. Sales team was easy to work with, professional and responsive.

I purchased my new KB Home in March 2023. The process was very easy, simple, efficient and worry-free. Since I didn't have the opportunity to personalize my home it was everything that I wanted and more. Any minor snafus that occurred was rectified quickly and efficiently. How can you beat a 10-year warranty on a KB Home? It's unheard of these days.

Michelle is the best there is, she truly made the home buying experience easy and simple.

Efficient, conscientious and perfect service

We have had MANY issues with the house and NONE have been resolved to date!

The entire experience was second to none. We had excellent service with our agent Alex. He kept us up to date weekly with the building of our home either by text messages, pictures, or both. He explained the process very well and was knowledgeable. Our relationship with the finance team was outstanding. Rui walked us thru the prequalification process and explained every step with great detail. After she left, we had great customer service with Christina and Michelle. They made assisted us in explaining anything that may have concerned us. Our building superintendent John has been great in walking us thru the house during the build and after and getting things fixed to our satisfaction. I had a overall pleasant experience with KB

While at the end of the day we are happy with the home we purchased, the process to get here was a nightmare. The gross majority of the information received from the KB sales staff and superintendent was inaccurate. Everything from being able to upgrade to St. Augustine grass, to the size of our lot, to lying about when permits were submitted, to assuring us that we would have reclaimed water for irrigation, and the list goes on and on. The construction quality turned out OK, but only because I was at the home site almost every single day and pointed out the very obvious issues and code violations that were included in the initial construction. If I was not there everyday to identify these issues, they would not have been fixed. Anytime we brought up an issue the response from KB management was, "You're welcome to back out of your contract and then we'll resell the home for more than you paid." This is KB's attitude toward their customers. Our home was over 7 months behind schedule. We signed the contract in Dec 2021 and didn't close until April 2023. The delays were due to mismanagement, not supply issues. We found KB completing other homes in our neighborhood that were not under contract until MONTHS after ours. When we brought this up they stated that they mixed up the paperwork and our got pushed to the "bottom of the stack". In the last month of our build - KB brought in the superintendent's manager to take over the completion of our home and working directly with this manager resulted in us getting the home completed. ... We closed on our new home with multiple punch list items needing to be addressed. The project manager(s) seem to be doing their best to get all the subcontractors back to the house to complete all items to our expectation. I can understand how hard it is to get subcontractors back once the closing occurred, but I wish more could be done. We closed over 60 days ago.
